I honestly can not decide if I should do Rin or Kirari for the Starlight Stage outfit... I'm super busty but have the face for Rin, but I'm also worried I wouldn't be tall enough for Kirari? It would be with a small group maybe four girls and I'm only an inch or two taller.
How do you feel about dresses who's origins are written all over them? >When is it too much? >How is it any different than normie fashion where the brand name is smeared over the torso? >How many ways can a brand fit their logo on a print? Looking at you AP. Post your best or worst examples. Depending on how you see it.
I don't like any branding. I can see why one would want to do it in maybe really tiny font, so that it would be easy to tell the difference between theirs and a replica, but AP always goes too far with it. They brand the shit out of everything and it's tacky. AP has to be scribbled all over their dresses, skirts, wristcuffs, berets...it's like Louis Vuitton, it suggests that items are supposed to have value because of the company that designed them and not the designs themselves. I'd rather buy three well-designed dresses from Taobao than one tacky overbranded... Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Specifically how Lolitas outside of the "ideal" seen in magazines achieve excellent coordinates that follow Lolita guidelines, be they tall, very short, extremely dark or pale, ugly, sharp features, masculine, whatever. I'm looking for photo inspiration and feel free to talk about your experiences. I'm struggling with an eating disorder myself so I wanted to see how others are making their differences work in great coords.
Can we just have a general cgl related rant thread? I'll start: I hate it when cosplayers don't take out their ugly piercings for the costume. It looks so trashy to me and makes the entire thing look a thousand times worse, especially if they're cosplaying a "cute" style character. It makes me so salty.
I've just started cosplaying characters with helmets/masks to hide my piercings, because my skin closes up abnormally quickly. I no longer have earrings because I took them out for a few hours once. Thought I was safe because I had them in for two years.
I'm going to Denver Comicon during 2016 and I wanted to go as a scavenger from Metro Last Light or a Stalker. Where could I find the clothes for either of them? They're both very similar. Sorry I'm new to cosplaying.
a>>8777953 >holy shit, something on /cgl/ I can give input on
let's assume you have the rifle (if not, buy literally any M4 with a carry handle iron sight) and full seal goggles (bonus points if the frame is black, then just rest them in your helmet between rounds to complete the look)
>helmet - Avengers Bump helmet in black >chest rig - Avengers Assaulter chest rig (the closest I could find in appearance Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
