Ok let's try this again. Post a photo of a coord at least if you're going to respond to something that has nothing to do with a coord.
I must be one of the select few who isn't tired of witch coords yet
The things in her peignoir look like leaves. This whole coord just makes her look like a walking white trash bag...
I get that she's trying to do a cult party kei coord but the peignoir is just not flattering on her. This coord would be 100% better without it.
Wish she had bangs or something, too much forehead for my taste
She listed her JSK as being authentic AatP. Yeah fucking right. I wish I wasn't a wuss and could call her out on it.
Totes legit and the same quality/material/construction. As if she could fit into the original, I'm a good 20cm under her measurements and it's not very roomy. It's just embarrassing to lie about it.
The brand of the oxfords is Naturalizer (outside of lolita, I literally only wear them for job interviews). It's a little hard to tell in the pic but I temporarily replaced the laces with some standard sheer navy blue ribbon.
Again, the quality/cut/construction. The shape of it is potato like and somehow a lot full yet smaller than it should be and the proportions are off, the materials look like shit and the colour is off. It's the classic Oojia replica. It's not hard.
The short jsk has boning, so there is no way her bust would fit into it or be able to do that making the whole torso the boobs thing. The skirt also shows the lack of quality that you would have in brand, it looks lesser quality and the proportions are off.
Well that's all fine and dandy, but I don't see you contributing leech
There's this thing called a joke, anon. You should try it sometme!
Kek. It looks so fake I can't believe she tried to pass it off as the real one.
She can bahleet it but isn't that worse?
Well, I guess I could counter that with I'm actually in her comm and it's a replica. She has a few authentic pieces that she had altered, but also a few replicas. She's been searching for the real one for a long time, I believe.
That underskirt is so perfect.
Posting some coords I liked. This is beautiful.
Her clothes and necklace are so luxurious, those textures hnnnng
With coords like this I feel disappointed that it's lolita. I know she's got patterned tights going on so there's still interest there but i wish the dress could be full length because of those textures. The shoes and stockings look so smooth in comparison.
Nothing wrong on her part, it's just the fashion itself is limiting.
Or maybe longer victorian/ granny boots would make this better to me? To cover her legs and go with the dress more.
The hat is so cute, and she balanced the black really well.
I like seeing the wine Lotta colorway coorded, this is adorable.
This, I have the lavender version and it's not exactly generously sized. She could never fit the original, plus her dress doesn't even look like it has boning in the bodice, also a dead giveaway that it's fake.
You can tell just by looking at the way the fabric looks that it's fake. No way that that's the textured cotton that the real one is. Gurl is either high or just lyring through her ass.
>Wouldn't be surprised if there's something in the back as part of the styling
Didn't think of that. You're right, anon, that might be it, though it would have been nice to see a back shot if that's the case.
nonwitch halloween coord!
also i just realized that technically all the HP coords are also witch coords.
I agree. I had a similar outfit that I literally wore out back in 2000-2002ish. It was a black dress with a black ribbon and I wore red and white striped tights. I felt like a doll and even dressed up a little doll to match. I like this because it takes me back.
This is just so all over the place. Sailor style dress, weird tassel cord thing on her head, the round glasses on her super round face, dat heart bag and that peignoir makes me think of those little girl costume fairy dresses that have the petals in the skirts.
This was honestly me when I first started lolita. Thought ugg boots or whatever those are were just ~* so kawaii *~
I hate alice themed things but this honestly looks so lovely and elegant.
I wouldn't think these colours work but she really pulled this off.
Thought this was absolutely adorable. Her face and her co-ord are so cute, other than I would maybe frill up the vest a bit.
Looks so much better than her regular extra sweet stuff.
Actually in love with this one, the creativity is just so awesome but I do agree with one comment I saw, maybe just a small head accessory would've made it perfect.
I am determined to keep this thread filled with coords.
Yeah these threads always end being mostly bitching instead of coord posting.
hate the shoes, hate the makeup, hate the uncut sideswept bangs.
cgl has broken me, I can't like anything on cof anymore, I can nitpick something that rankles me about every single co-ord. Nothing pleases me anymore.
Just for you.
I like everything except I think the lip color is a lil bit to bright. Also the glasses seem off maybe.
I think the glasses look fine but why the fuck do people keep using these gorgeous stained glass jsks and skirts and coording them with fucking black and white? The print has gold, yellow, red, blue...pick any of those colors and add an accessory or two at least, jesus christ. Why buy such a gorgeous print and then such a shit job at coordinating?
>cgl has broken me, I can't like anything on cof anymore, I can nitpick something that rankles me about every single co-ord. Nothing pleases me anymore.
learn to appreciate what works, think for yourself, and don't be so uptight.
it's not cgl who has broken you
is this damn coord.
>Side swept bangs in an unnatural way, shape does not go well with decorations
>Makeup is just eye liner, no color coordination or anything
>Shoes are flats, too informal for the hime look.
Basic bitch coord
I for one really like the ironically placed in bags of potato chips.
She was going for cpk but clearly doesn't understand the aesthetic. CPK is not peignoir + flower crown + red and white color scheme. It should feel like dolly kei with lighter colors and fabrics and a medical/religious theme. Yes I'm mad
Cult party relies a lot more on intuition than lolita when it comes to making outfits, and lolitas can't coord for shit outside of matching colours slapped onto a cookie-cutter silhouette. It's difficult to use the cpk aesthetic when you don't even know how to create the aesthetic in the first place.
I tried doing a cpk x lolita coord once but it just came out as a weirdly-layered pastel blob.
It might be to better match the prosthetic better. Stuff like that at halloween stores is never an actual shade of human skin. You either have to know how to use and make stuff from liquid latex or you spend a TON on movie quality special fx stuff.
I'm also in her comm and she talks a lot about how she gets her brand pieces altered. She also tries to resell her altered brand after she wears them for $700-$800 which was already questionable to me but even more so if she's passing off replicas as real.
I love this.
I've always really liked this dress but idk about this coord.
swamp witch coord. that staff, hnngh
The person who does her alterations is incredible, but a cut up dress doesn't go up in value. It's great for the people who are quite heavy, but that's a minority compared to average size people who would want the dress.
I actually find that the peignor brings out the theme of the outfit a little better. Makes it look like the fog you'd see surrounding a swamp -- and considering she's doing a 'swamp witch', it sorta fits.
I like the faun concept, I think it has the potential (emphasis on potential) to be an interesting design element. But why oh why is it always so poorly executed?
Yes that's her.
There's another girl in my comm who talks about plus size alterations in a panel, and she said she's bought used, altered it, and sold it for more than she paid. But I get the impression that she bought it very cheap and is still selling it for close to market value. There are fat girls who are anti-replica who will buy altered brand but not if the price is crazy. At that point they'd just buy the brand and pay for alterations themselves.
YES! I love aristo, more aristo coords please
I'd dig this if the shoes and headpiece were in teh blue or brick-red color from the print instead of gold.
Pretty cute in an oldschool way.
I like this. It could be fun to work with a swamp witch aesthetic in more traditional mori colors, too.
>implying a false correlation
Look some people just want to enjoy their clothes without layering on a million accessories, if that's your thing then fine, but that's not the point, there's nothing fun about being judged for not looking gawdy enough.
I hear ya. I love me some basic bitch coords. I just missed out during the years of pushing lolita into decora territory. But I do see some girls still doing that in Japan. So westerners are gonna do whatever, I'd rather keep up with the trends over there.
I like the legwear on this one. The color of the wig looks great too.
I just wish she had make up on, her face looks so plain
I'd change out the shoes and tights. Brown oxfords and simple lace beige tights would go better IMO. TBH I don't see the book purse going too well with the JSK either.
I like the simple tiara. It's nice but it doesn't clash with simplicity of the rest of the coordinate like the cheap bodyline shoes do.
>inb4 self post
Sweet suits her a bit better, but I like this coord
I think she said her younger sister did it? She's pretty talented
I think someone commented telling her to let up on the makeup, then posted in CoF of their coord, with 0 makeup on at all?
I'm a goth and I also agree that the makeup is shit. She solidly blacked out her eyes with no blending or gradient and didn't color in her eyebrows. If she mixed lighter tones in the eyeshadow with the black and blended, it would be just as goth and just as much makeup, but would look less heavy and would have a better overall look. Seeing her blonde-ass eyebrows under that heavy black wig bothers me to no end; at least keep it consistent and if you're going to try and go all out on makeup, then at least make sure you hit all vital points of it.
That's alright, I don't mind. I hope to continue to dabble in gothic a little bit, but I don't believe it's fully for me.
Thanks for the advice though, I appreciate it since I got none on Facebook
I think it's just that the makeup is a little too harsh even for gothic lolita; it's really great for regular goth styles but it's a little exagerrated. If you're going to use a back lip in gothic lolita, you can do heavy eye makeup but something a little more smokey and elegant and not so intense. The eye makeup is a bit jarring and coupled with the really pale foundation it just looks kinda panda-y. Next time I would go for a smoked out eyeliner or a black/brown or black/red smokey eye.
Paranoia chan seriously stop
Guess we differ in opinion. I don't like this at all and don't consider it a good coord.
It all comes down to personal taste I guess.
Personally, I don't really like any coord with a underbust corset over a dress. Just don't like it in lolita.
Also not fond of those tumblr ott "madonna" style headdresses like these. And not a fan of lace gloves and normalfag shoes in lolita.
I consider this a very big nitpick, sorry.
I feel like this has to be a replica of something but I can't find the original
This print isn't flattering on larger girls because the fabric is very shiny. It's going to make boob loaf even worse. I have this dress and love this print. It looks like she modified the bodice to add more detail, which is good because otherwise it's just a massive expanse of boobloaf, but it still can't save the fit here. I'm guessing she she didn't give proper measurements, which is weird because the dress is shirred and custom sized.
Otherwise, this coord is decent. I wish the bag was more gothic and that the tights and shoes were more interesting. She needs makeup, too, but the biggest issue is the fit of the dress.
The print name is "Secret Lab."
we need more wizard/male witch coords like this. come on, boystylers, why so unspooky?
Maybe. I bought the first run of the jsk which was plain as hell, so I ended up adding lace to it to dress it up. I know there was a strapless version, but Oo Jia hasn't done too much with the dress. I think it's only been recently that more colors have come out, like the red.
The dress design is very plain, but I just wanted it for the print.

I love Baby's Trianon OP, this white colorway is really nice, but not on this girl.
It's got a lot of shirring, and it may stretch to a larger size but it isn't meant to, so it looks like ass on a big boobed or plus sized girl.
Seen the same happen with some Moitie jsks/ops, just doesn't look right.
If she had small boobies this would have been fine, apart from the lack of make-up that is.
I like the way she coordinated this though, simple but nice and the whites seem to match.
