What's the cheapest place online to get snacks in bulk
I've been eating 1500 calories a day to lose weight. I'm surprised how easy it's been.
I eat things like hard boiled eggs, cans of tuna, whole wheat bread, grilled chicken breasts, brown rice, steamed broccoli, vegetable soup, vegetable and chicken curry, greek yogurt, raisins, instant oatmeal, etc.
Anyone else on a calorie restricted diet? On a side note, are Morning Star burgers any good? They've got about 1/3 the calories of beef. I'm thinking about trying the veggie burger at Burger King tomorrow without the fries. It's 310 without mayo or ketchup. 390 with.
I don't call it a diet, it's just the way i eat, but yes, i try to stay under 2K kcals a day, it's really not hard if you use portion sizes and eat good food.
I spent a while training myself with MyFitnessPal and a scale, and now i just estimate. unsuprisingly, i eat a lot like the reccomended guidelines: lots of veg and fruit, lean meats, healthy fats and a moderate amount of grains. Beef or chicken tea is a great snack; sometimes that and an apple get me through till dinner.
Morning Star burgers are decent, but I like Boca brand ones a lot more.
I am also restricting at 1500. I weigh everything now, so portion control saves me a lot of calories and makes keeping under 1500 hella easy.
Anyone else do a grocery haul today? I go to different markets on different days, so I just thought I'd post today's edition, which is all from my local Japanese grocery store and Asian mega-store.
First pic - muh mini mooncakes for New Year (red bean, lotus, and date).
New Year goodies - the mini mooncakes, sesame balls, rice cakes, sesame rolled wafers, green tea pumpkin seeds.
In this pic - UCC coffee packets, matcha, empty tea bags (for filling with tea leaves), one packet of Shin Black, wonton noodles, fresh ramen noodles, fried tofu, and yes, that is a durian in the back, wrapped in newspaper.
Let's see, here we have - wagyu eye of round, pea shoots, red spinach, beech mushrooms, baby bananas, and one ramune soda.
Can anyone help me remember a specific episode of Good Eats? Its the one where Alton has to cook vegetables in creative ways so that some girl will eat her veggies.
Good Eats thread i guess.
/ck/ is no longer an Alton friendly board. thanks to the Great Moddenating and Hiroshima of 2015, Alton has been deemed immature and uncool and also he's the ol' edgerino Xtian gunfag so please do not post Alton threads as you risk a ban or worse
Picked up a 6 pack of these for a dollar.
What can I make?
why do these pieces of shit even exist? I'm not talking about the gimmick induction stoves, but the kind that has an ordinary heating element under a glass surface.
>takes forever to heat up
>when it finally does heat up lowest setting is too hot, soups boil instead of simmer
>highest setting is too cold, meat steams instead of fries
>can't use any of my antique pans because they have slightly deformed bottoms
just think about...

Opinions on him?
A little faggot. I read a story about how he was working for Macro or something and he got yelled at, so he threw a handful of salt in all the kitchen's sauces, walked out, and never came back. Little hissy fit clown.
I've seen him a few times IRL, seems kind of like an asshole. But then again aside from Boulud who seemed like a genuinely nice guy, most celebrity chefs I've met aren't nice people.
Good food though.
wiener wraps/pigs in a blanket for the pro bowl. Pillsbury grand biscuits wrapped around filled with nacho cheese and onion. Most of the wraps have a braut in them, a few have chicken and ham in them.
3 dipping sauces provided, KC masterpiece, Hiland sour cream, and Nacho cheese.
i'm feeling really depressed right now and i dont feel like doing anything…and i'm thinking maybe i should go get an a&w burger…but it's like 30 min of walking and i'm so demotivated, i know it wont make me feel better…maybe make me forget for 5 min while i'm eating…but i'm still considering it…i'm not really hungry but i'm hoping maybe it will give me some pleasure… should i? please advise.
I've been drinking tap water for years in the US. How fucked is my health?
Tap water in the states doesn't make you this subordinate.
What's the best brand of pickles?
I want to make a Frito chili pie and don't know what kind of chili to buy. I always see Hormel and Wolf, both are pretty cheap and not so good quality. Is there a better brand of canned chili for pies and hotdogs? None with beans, they don't belong on dogs and Frito pies.
I like to use hot dog chili sauce for chili frito pie and chili dogs. Any brand will do.
I always enjoyed beans on chili dogs, and always noticed that it was some kind of meme that you don't put beans in your chili meant for chili dogs, what gives? I mean, hot dogs and baked beans are a common pair, why not bean chili on hot dogs?
>this is what /fit/ considers good food
How can men spend days eating nothing but bland chicken, rice, and mixed vegetables? How can a man live like that?
They're working towards an objective, they don't look at it as food but as fuel. It's not exactly balanced but or appealing but it's much better than stuffing your face with McDonalds.
When should black pepper be used and when should white pepper be used?
Help me win some free shit guys.
What is this cocktail?
There's a high chance it's something to do with gin, but it isn't a Tom/John Collins.
A hint was given "1869".
Ideas my fellow alcoholics??
>it's not piss
