How do you make your french toast /ck/? Any special ingredients or techniques you'd like to share? Was wondering what I could add to bring more flavor to it, maybe a splash of coconut oil?
Make my own cinnamon swirl bread, and use cinnamon coffee creamer in batter
then stuff with cream cheese filling
top with blueberry sauce
/ck/ I'm in the UK and I'm really craving some whataburger, Could I have a friend back in Texas get me a burger vacuum seal it then flash freeze it and mail it to me no problem?
what are some nice things I can cook that don't have water in them?
Since a decent steak doesn't need sauce, what is steak sauce good for?
What's your favourite hot booze, laddies?
I have a cold and I'm drinking hot grog (one part dark rum, two parts hot water, teaspoon of cane sugar, juice of half a lemon and a dash of angostura bitters).
You'd recover faster if you didn't fill yourself with booze.
But dissolve one part brown sugar into two parts each of dark rum and lemon juice. Put the lemon skins in, apply a flame let it burn for a bit, then extinguish and allow to simmer for about ten minutes.
You can also use brandy instead of rum, or blend the two.
which sugar does /ck/ use and why?
Mainly white and demerara. White is often required for recipes, and I find demerara is a fine substitute for brown sugar but brown sugar is not always a fine substitute for demerara.
If I need a dark, sticky brown sugar, though, I'll either get dark brown sugar, or substitute with molasses or treacle. It depends what I have on hand.
white, brown (light and dark), powdered, honey, molasses, maple syrup, piloncillo.
I've used stevia and agave before, but its really expensive for sweeteners. Each has their own use and purpose.
ITT: Candy and soda

Rate my Sunday breakfast, /ck/.

Is this really as popular in Latin America/Latino communities/hipsters as I hear it is? I bought a brick for the first time and it's relatively decent. I don't know why it says it's for any preparation though, it's ground really fine, like espresso.
Are you asking if it is a meme, anon? The answer is yes, yes it is.
It's also not very good, but hey. That never stopped white people.
Currently in California visiting for a couple days. What's the best thing I can order from In-n-out?
Know what I love?
Diners that do fancy omelets.
Example: this pesto omelet. Spinach, pesto, and sweet peppers inside, topped with cheese and slices of tomato.

A friendly tip:
Much like hot sauce, freshly-grated, genuine Parmigiano-Reggiano can elevate even cheap pizza such as Little Caesars to great heights.
I also bought a jar of pepperoncini and squirted them over the pizza, much like I used to do with Papa John's during college. Worked very well, and then I wondered why I never thought of just getting a jar of them before.
Great tip. Did you also know that just a little smear of peanut butter can turn two slices of average bread into a delicious snack? Now I just keep jars of the stuff around to keep things interesting!
Next time try adding half a can of anchovies; it will blow your mind.
is cream of chicken the most patrician soup?
I'm about to buy stuff for my new kitchen, someone know if something like this work good ?
looks like the air intake is not very big. a strong fan and small intake results in high airspeeds -> noise.
it looks good, but I would want to hear it running, you will often be standing in front of it. whatever you do - do not buy one that exausts in to your kitchen. all that steam needs to be blown outside your house.
I have a normal one now (not inclined) that is at the correct height but i keep hit it with the head, in my new apartment i cant put it more high so this is the only solution
also it look good
i want to make scalloped potatoes but i have no milk
