xD bacon general
I used to love bacon, but then people turned bacon into a neverending meme and now when people start talking about bacon, I wish to be afflicted by extremely short term deafness so I don't have to listen to how much bacon makes their pussy gush. Why do normies have to ruin everything?
What's the best flavour of Hamburger Helper and why is it Beef Noodle?
Sigh...It takes an unholy amount of restraint for me not to turn this flavor into one serving/meal. If it is cheeseburger helper, well, I am going to: 1. burn my mouth and 2. eat it with no regard to restraint.
Comfort in a box here in Oklahoma.
>Add salt to nearly everything
>Roommates make fun of me for eating so much salt or look outright disgusted when I do it
>Even put salt on delivery pizza and takeout Chinese
>Realize I'm averaging about 3 tablespoons of salt a day
>That's 9 times as much salt as you're supposed to eat per day
What are some alternatives to flavoring that aren't as unhealthy as salt?
OK I'm about to cook food for my visiting obese family from the Midwest, what do I do to wow them?
What are some autistic things you do to/with your food? I'll start:
>when food is too hot i spit it out and usually swear, followed by waiting an extended period of time for my food to cool down until it's cold and unpleasant in order to "teach it a lesson"
>only drink my drinks in one chug, starting and finishing any drink i have by chugging it all down at once
>whip my hands around the kitchen to grab things like im Mashiba from Hajime no Ippo or Kamaji (the boiler...

So /ck/, How do you eat healthy or diet with only a microwave?
Do you have a fridge or literally only a microwave?
Anyway, quick answer: Eat alot of stuff that doesn't even need to be cooked. i.e., lots of veggies. if you really want to cook them, use the mic to steam brocolli. You can create lots of flavor from pickling and fermenting veggies, which requires no heating at all.
>he drinks jack daniels
>he drinks patron
>he drinks cpt morgan
>he drinks skyy
what are the best things i can do with this ck? i bought a can on a whim the other day because i've never tried it before.
I've never tried it either
Try slicing it thin then toss into a hot frying pan, some cooking oil is probably better than lard or butter. If fried it would make a good sarnie, try some pickles with it
Alternatively email it to someone you despise, over and over again
Hey /ck/! Anyone here like to watch cooking shows? Yesterday in the crock pot thread, somebody had posted a video (that I can no longer find) but it got me thinking about cooking shows in general. Post your favorites, recipe vids, ect. ect. At the moment I've been watching a ton of Kitchen Nightmares.
Here's a full episode for your viewing pleasure:
Here is one of my favorite cooking vids, mostly because Andy Roy is interesting as fuck.
what would one call a fruit pie without a crust?
Which is more important?
Rub or sauce?
Both are supposed to compliment the meat, so it all just depends on what YOU like.
I like sauces, because it gives me more control of the flavor, so I don't use anything on my ribs other than salt and pepper, and use a sauce as a dip instead of putting it on the ribs themselves.
Regardless, as long as it's not too sweet, any kind of BBQ is better than no kind of BBQ.
How should I go about heating these if I don't want to put them in the microwave and I don't have a broiler pan?
Baking in the oven makes the buns too hard and even after a lot of time in the meat might still be cold. Should I try broiling them in the oven even without a broiler pan?
Pro tip, chop up like 10 onions (any kind) and just leave it out to dry. It doesn't go bad ever and gets a much richer onion flavor, without being stronger.
Then you can just grab some and use it like normal onion. Really nice to sprinkle a little in a salad too
Today for breakfast I made a Thai green curry with potato and broccoli.
What is the best blackberry dish?
It's confirmed, I'm definitely going to public school for at least 10 years.
I need to know what school food is like and how I can make it taste at least decent.
Hey /ck/. I don't drink, but I do like the aesthetic of whisky. I've tried beer before, and it tastes like rubbing alcohol and corn.
How's alcohol free whisky?
Also, neat or on the rocks?
Deep contemplative men who are teetotalers for totally personal reasons.
how to treat gas /ck/
Surprised I didn't get green eggs on the side.
How is this even edible. Any of you guys have horrible cafeteria food like this before?
I used to teach in an inner city middle school, can confirm that's pretty accurate and normal. Saw a mosquito hawk baked into a piece of pizza once.
Most of the kids would wait in line, get their food, immediately dump it into the trash, and then chow down on the Coke and Takis/Hot Cheetos they brought.
Is there anyone here who's never had a Pb&J before?
I've met like 3 people in my life who never have
Ok cu/ck/s. I've got this wack ass sirloin steak. How do I turn it into a meal of the gods?
Why haven't more fast food places come up with gimmick fries?
>pic related black pepper fries would be heaven
I do Steak n Shake fairly often for the vinegar fries.
I had those exact Ore Ida garlic fries, were surprisingly good.
what's the best french fry though? I know the best shape is curly
Guys I desperately need the link to the guy making the pineapple jello tragedy. Normally I wouldn't ask but it's kind of an emergency.
Is yall still gettin sick? Does your food got carbon?
Yall better eat yall carbon
Bought some beef that was on sale, cooked it, it was very tough... Are there some good cuts of beef that are reasonably priced, I can get.
Or just stick with Chicken?
this is my first time on this board
I'm trying to eat healthy now so I've been steaming vegetables for lunch but steamed broccoli is getting redundant
What's a good was to season them or aomething I can add to stay healthy but mix up the flavor a bit
fry up some garlic in olive oil, take it off the heat and add lemon juice, mix it with that
Broccoli also goes well with anchovies. You could make a lemon anchovy parmesan broccoli type pasta dish
It's actually pretty good with mustard but you'll get some looks
I know you said you're trying to eat healthy but broccoli and its closer cousins like broccoli rabe and cauliflower love cheese
Use any one, or a combination of the above, mixed with other veggies and proteins.
Broccoli is a great addition to bell pepper, onion, and carrot stir fry or sautes.
>that feeling when children cook better than anybody on /ck/
I just ate some under-cooked Costco sausage. Am I genna die?
What would happen if I made two boxes of Kraft mac and cheese and added a jar of alfredo sauce?
You'd have a small amount of noodles swimming in sauce.
Either skip the alfredo sauce, or just make regular pasta and use the sauce. Or, if you really want to use the sauce, make the boxes like normal and drink the sauce straight from the jar.
Have any of you ever ordered from Batepapo?
