WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY CHILI, /CK/?
Chuck E Cheese has always had the best pizza pie, when was the last time you had a slice?
Today, I'm going to ask my sister if I can borrow my niece to go there and have some pizza....maybe I'll even meet some cool new friends.
Provide me with your best Thai (vegetarian) recipes or dishes!
What vegetarian / vegan recipes do you personally recommend?
inb4 "killing yourself" and variants thereof
So, there's a new drink pwder out there called soylent that claims it is capable of replacing at least a couple meals a day. It's incredibly sustainable, apparently very healthy, and its all in one nature really appeals to me. It's fully vegan and has tons of nutrients as well. The problem is, I can't find any neutral press on it. Every article is either written by a soccermom who's pissed that anyone would want some "lab made frankenfood that's not on my paleo diet" or a paid shill for soylent. There's no real middle ground. So,...

Oh almighty /ck/,
I seek your guidance and vast knowledge.
I am a student. I'm broke, I can't find job.
My knowledge about nutrition is below average.
What do I eat, or what do I cook, so it is cheap and quite healthy?
What low budget ingredients will keep me alive?
I try to eat a lot of potatoes or frozen veggies, but it just gets boring. I try not to buy meat ( I'm not vegan, I'm just broke).
Tl;Dr : how do I survive on low budget?
How low of a budget are we talking about here? If it's like, 20 bucks a week for food you can easily afford cheaper meat. If we're talking like 10 bucks that's more tricky.
Anyway buy a lot of:
Then buy some dried spices, cooking oil and salt. It shouldn't cost much and you can combine the above mentioned stuff in quite a number of ways.
I'm going to Starbucks after class.
What should I get?
Need something to wake me up after this 8am.
It can be hot or cold
is anybody here a professional chef? did you go to culinary school or is that a waste of money? how do you like it? how much money do you make? would you recommend it?
pic related i'm from canada
im pretty passionate about cooking and food so I think it's something I could enjoy
I've pretty much fucked up the last four years of my life by staying home and playing video games, so this seems like something I could do and would enjoy
just wondering if there are any line cooks here or people who have been a chef for a long time who could share their experience
Find the best restaurant in town and ask to stage for a week, at least 40 hrs. If u still want to cook get a gig pt w/school or ft. Be honest with yourself. You need to be durable and have a very strong work ethic. It's mostly hard thankless work for low pay...you'd have to be a total idiot to get into this biz and not have a genuine love of kitchen life. Also substance abuse. U better have a strong constitution or enormous will power. Drugs alcohol pussy are everywhere easy to get caught up in this part of it and lose sight of why you are there in first place.
Americans: teaching their young the ways of the fat. Truly negligent. They program their kids for diabetes.
>his country hasn't landed a representative on the moon
It's even worse the food grown ups eat still tastes like childrens food. The manly food they have like spareribs are glazed with sugar based sauces to the taste only I child would like. It's probably the reason why the majority of the Americans are childish in general. It's a sad thing actually. I wish for them to come to there senses and grow up.
Are E-Numbers dangerous?
I have a bunch of dry polenta I bought a long time ago but never used.
What are some good polenta recipes?
>add cheese and shrimp that were sautéed with garlic to cooked polenta
>spread cooked polenta on a sheet pan, cool, cut out to use as a base for serving proteins like steak and fish
>thicken a stew with polenta
Some ideas for ya anon.
Would you eat Keemi's steak? Would you make a real steak for her?
I watched keemi for a long time now since I saw it posted here and this is the first vid in which she talks so openly about her relationships.
When I was making the .webm I didn't yet watch that part but dear lord she's a little filthy slut.
/ck/ have you ever ate a meal that was so tasty that you had to hurry up and vomit just to taste it again?
Yeah me too.
