Hello /ck/ I got some cut up fish what should I do with it?I suck big dick cooking fish.
What's wrong with plain old vanilla?
>one or two drops
>swirl it around then pour it out
>wave the bottle over the shaker
Why did these memes start? Vermouth is really good and if it isn't in your martini, you're just drinking watery gin.
that's not a fucking martini
That's funny, because early martini recipes have way more vermouth than anybody would use today.
Nobody really knows the origin of the martini, I'm ready to state outright that your chosen theory is wrong.
>wave the bottle
yeah that shit pisses me right off. if you want gin or vodka order gin or vodka. can you imagine that with any other drink?
>hey gimme a gin and tonic, but don't take the lid off the gin just pretend to pour it and make little "blub blub" noises to simulate it being poured.
so, you just want tonic water in a glass?
>NO! I want a gin and tonic but i hate gin, asshole!
What's wrong with good old fashioned russet potatoes? It seems like everything uses sweet potatoes instead these days.
they are great
my family is potato farmers and agree unanimously that boiled, skin on, with butter salt and pepper is the best way to eat them
it's boring as all hell, but fuck they're satifying
If I'm not supposed to eat it then why does it taste so damn good?
What's your favorite multinational consumer goods company? I think Unilever is bretty good, they make a lot of things I buy every day.
By feeding poor nations, they make artichoke and crab dip cheaper.
I'll dump what I have, feel free to contribute
Im not fat but i want to be almost gross skinny.
Im 5'11" and weight 165. i want to be 150 or 140-ish. What should i eat/not eat? im not going to /fit/ because they will tell me its unhealthy. im down for not eating. ive lost weight like that before but it sucked. is there anything besides grilled chicken i can eat a shit ton of and nothing will happen? thank you
one can of tuna fish, and/or one apple per day, black coffee, and water.
Is Nashville "Hot Chicken" becoming a meme?
It's seems as if a lot of gastro pubs and bar/grills are adding it to their menus.
Is it wholly different than a spicy chicken/buffalo sandwich?
seriously just shut the fuck up with your stupid meme bullshit already. You either eat it or you fucking don't. Who gives a shit. According to you types, any food that has ever made it big is a meme. ZOMG A GUY INVENTED SOMETHING CALLED BUFFALO WINGS AND GOT RICH. PEOPLE COPIED HIM ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY. MUST BE A MEME. OMG PEOPLE LIKE SOUP. LET US ALL SELL SOUP. SOUP IS A MEME. Restaurants sell what sells well and they have done that since the beginning of time.
I have some precooked bratwurst, and just a stove+frying pan. What's the best way to cook these?
Also, since they're precooked, there is no danger of undercooking them right? I could just bite into them cold?
>What's the best way to cook these?
I'd brown them in the pan, then add a bit of water and cover to let them steam for a few minutes. Or you could just simmer them in water or even some beer for 5-10 minutes. Or dump some sauerkraut in a pot, put them on top and simmer that until it's all heated through.
And no, if they're pre-cooked you should be able to just eat it cold from the package. Just heat it through and it'll be fine.
What is your favorite breakfast dish? Mine is pic related, quick and easy.
What makes you feel good when it snows, /ck/?
I made some cheese&broccoli soup in a bread bowl.
getting really drunk and running in it when it snows enough that I have a day off. then making my friends drive me somewhere for lunch while I hang out the window of the car screaming happy snow day to everyone on the street.
then I get a nice burger and a beer. I love snow. also sometimes I ski and play hockey.
First post here
So tomorrow gonna make some fried chicken and mashed potatoes
>lots of butter and cream
>onion and the green leafes from.the carrot like but white vegetable
>the crushed bread with added cayenne or green spice mix, italian
So tell me your mashed potato and fried chicken recepits the ones you like.the most
What are the best low calorie, low preparation foods? I'm going on a diet in a few weeks, but I don't have a lot of time at home due to work. I don't really eat lunch or breakfast, so I don't have a ton of meals to cover for, but I'm looking to eat under 1100 calories for a while while I grind it out with exercise. I did this last year over a month, and lost 25 lbs, but I got burned out on eating fish from Rubio's and vegetables in hot sauce.
Suggestions? Fast food items are acceptable. I'll eat just about anything, I'm not picky.
What makes people think this is a good idea? Like "ok I'm a lazy fuck with no cooking skills, instead of actually doing a few minutes of googling and reading based on my own tastes and skill set, I'm going to post on 4chan, wait an hour or two for the replies to roll in, and pick a random text-based response that looks reasonable"
How do people like this function?
What should I season a prime cut Rib eye with? I am used to buying choice meat and adding a steak seasoning but I'd like a good minimal seasoning idea so I can enjoy this prime cut.
