Why is subway the best fast food restaurant?
>tfw korean bbq pulled pork
For me it is the Spicy Italian, the best fast food sandwich.
Subway Compared to any decent sandwhich from a deli/lunch bar is trash
I had a great ham/salami with salad on a fresh crusty roll for 2/3rds of the price of subway today. and it wasn't loaded with full fat over powering sauce and old vegetables while supporting a local business
>12 dollars for a jar of peanut butter
Is this shit even worth it?
If you were to open a restaurant what would you call it, what would the ambiance be? What sort of cuisine?
Also long shot but do any restaurant owners lurk /ck/? Share some knowledge.
I would call my restaurant "Pizza Bandits" and would serve exclusively pizza "so good the robber got caught for sticking around to eat." my logo would be pic related except the fedora would be a circular pepperoni pizza and it would be a darkly lit dining room with lots of dark wood and a fireplace.
A fast food vegan place selling wrap sandwiches. The main three offered would be the Palestine (falafel, hummus, pickles, lettuce, tomato onion), the Punjab (chana masala, curry potatoes, onion, tamatind sauce, cilantro) and the California (black beans, marinated seitan, salsa). Everything is $9, and you can do a CYOA sandwich using any combination of the ingredients that will fit into the wrap).
Don't have a catchy name for it yet, but the plan would be to open it only near expensive colleges because the...

I want to know ho to make a reverse rare steak, red on the outside, brown and the inside.
Insert a heating element probe into the middle of the meat?
Butterfly the meat and pan fry the exposed inside until well-done then refold the raw meat on the outside back together?
>living in Southern California
>go to a food place
>menu includes an "x" and a "California x"
>the "California x" is just the "x" with some avocado in it
Anyone else have food feels/cringe exclusive to their area?
Living in Canada
> Only Canadian because it's "x" with Canadian bacon, maple syrup or cheese curds
Living in West Texas
> Only Texan because "x" is made with brisket, some kind of green chili product, or "x" is BBQ'd
Now living in SoCal
> California Classic burger from Carls Jr is just mimicking In-N-Out doubles
> "MexiCali" food...

How can I make these things taste good?
what are some good 10 minute meals i can make?
Do you eat in your car?
Not since I got my new car.
That'll probably eventually change, though.
Even if I would normally eat in my car, I only grab fast food around once a month, and it's usually when I forget to bring leftovers to work.
how do i make anime ramen?
lol, sense you took that shitty joke of mine well i'll be honest with you, it will probably be to hard for you to cook if your not experienced. You want to make the broth from scratch, but you can easily google this and find many recipes online
>have a bowl of cereal with lactose free milk
>instantly become physically sick and it lasts for almsot 2 hours
What the fuck are they putting in milk nowadays? Can't drink the stuff anymore even the lactose free stuff
What's the best gin and tonic water for a gin and tonic?
What kind of 'za should I get tonight? Choices are Donatos, Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Jets, Cottage Inn. No anchovies please.
Thoughts on Arby's?
Any cu/ck/s here need a job i run a restaurant here in north vancouver and i need staff i figured this would be the last place id try since craigslist is getting me no hits
I've got a 9.5 oz cut of new york strip steak that's super thick. I don't have a working oven. Can I still just pan fry it all the way? like 6-7 minutes per side? Will I just burn it?
That's how I do it in the winter when I'm too lazy to go out in the cold and use my grill. Rub the bottom of the pan with oil and throw that guy on there. I go 4:44 each side for a nice rare / medium rare steak.
I got tricked into working for Cutco/Vector Marketing a few years ago and sold ten sets of knives before quitting. I even have a couple of their knives at my house. Were the knives actually good, or was I ripping people off?
Is chocolate milk child-tier? I can drink gallons of it and it's the only way I can drink milk because it makes me gag if I try drinking normal milk.
You guys drink milk with your meals right?
Whats your favourite type of wing, /ck/? What do you like on em? What do you dip em in?
Neighbor, how long has it been since you had a big, thick, steaming bowl of Wolf Brand Chili? Well, that's too long
Now that it is almost fall, what is the god tier cider?
So given apples be fucking expensive here (would be a lot cheaper to just buy the hard cider), how disappointed am I going to be if I make cider out of "non-alcoholic" cider instead of fresh apples?
Saves me a lot of work anyway.
Why does candy corn even exist? Both its texture and taste is fucking awful. Same with those candy pumpkins
Fuck you, Candy Corn is the tits. I would fight you irl defending it.
Candy Corn is objectively GOAT candy and if you disagree not only are you wrong and lying to yourself, you're also a complete faggot. Anyone who doesn't like candy corn automatically likes the taste of cock. I will STOVE YOUR FUCKING HEAD IN THEY'RE DELICIOUS
Be prepared for so low-quality ingredients.
Roughly diced some carrots, potatoes, and onion. I think I was heavy on the carrots
I bought a big bag of frozen fish fillets that were on sale. Only problem is that they had this really fishy smell so I tried soaking them in some soysauce to wash out the smell and dethaw them.
Yeah a bit, but it's what I can afford.
Melting some butter here
What can I do with it

I'll be going to Hawaii soon for my anniversary, and am anxious to try the food there. Is there anything I should keep my eye out for that I can bring back home with me?
Pic related. I was told that Hawaiians were crazy about spam, but I didn't think it would go this far.
I don't want whatever I normally eat. It's bad enough I'm spending a lot of money just to essentially play in the pretty water. I want to bring back some coffee and other food items that are hard to find here or non-existent.
Soup is funny. It's not really a meal nor is it really a first course, because it's mostly made of water.
I find soup to be the most watery of foods.
>I find soup to be the most watery of foods.
Really makes you think...
