Why no desert thread?
It's OK I'll just start one then.
Peanut butter/marshmallow topping on brownies, all I'm missing is the graham crackers.
/ck/, what bread am I about to consume?
>at ruth chris'
>order my steak blue rare
>waitress says ok
>manager comes out and tells me they won't cook it like that
>sarcastically asks for it to be very well done
>they actually do it
they probably refused serving it blue rare due to "possible health and safety" issues due to it being raw on the inside. hence why they had no qualms about it being served well done since they don't have that issue to contend with.
What is a good stir fry recipie?
I did google it but there's so many different recipes
How does gordon get away with calling his cooks spics and shoving them around?
back in the hey day when gordon was actually in the kitchen cooking, working for him and listing working under him on your resume was a huge leg up career wise. also gordon was upfront with his staff that if they didn't like the way he talked to them, they were more than welcome to leave. hardly anyone left though, as he was incredibly skilled in the kitchen and you learned a lot just being around him. so most of his staff tolerated his behaviour.
Going to Athens this April. Some Greek fag able to suggest what to get there to eat. Personally I think Greek cuisine is god tier, just too short time to try it all; need to optimize :v
Just gonna let you know that Greece is nothing like the John Travolta movie. I was disappointed.
What's the capital of Greece? About $100
You know what? I've got nothing productive to add, so free bump, I guess
When was the last time you were complimented on something you cooked?
The last time I cooked for other people a few weeks ago. Had a couple friends over and made some spinach and mushroom enchiladas with sour cream sauce and some spanish rice.
Going to make some hawaiian rolls and jalapeno slaw to bring to a friend's house tomorrow since he's smoking a pork shoulder. Should make some tasty pulled pork sandwiches and I expect that I'll be complimented on the rolls and slaw as well as compliment my friend on the pork.
what should i get at popeyes

post >yfw you have been doing it wrong your whole life
I have a girl coming over and I want to do a "fancy" plated dessert. It must have either Strawberry or Chocolate or Both. I cannot temper the chocolate because I don't have thermother, the difficulty level is not important.

Nothing like a good old
16 year old wine to highlight the night.
Holy hell, what is this goddamn show? I refuse to believe that these people aren't actors and there are actually people that fucking clueless in a kitchen.
Haven't seen it on TV, just noticed it on Netflix so I'm watching the "collection" they have. Good lord.
It's reality TV so it's obviously staged, but I've definitely met and interacted with people who are pretty close to that level of clueless about cooking. A lot of people just never learned and then it's just sort of this whole mystifying world they don't understand.
Vote for them. It's worth it. Some of the best chips I've ever tasted.
Honey mustard is ____
a blend of mustard and honey, typically mixed in a 1:1 ratio. It is commonly used both on sandwiches, and as a dip for finger foods such as chicken strips. It can also be combined with vinegar or olive oil to make a salad dressing.
