Show me one recipe that proves veganism isn't a disgusting waste of effort.
>Pro tip: you can't.
It's an awful waste of time if you're trying to replicate non-vegan food.
On the other hand, I fucking love Indian food and have accidentally not eaten meat for months at a time because of this.
Fuck their fake cheese, though. It doesn't melt.
I would like to write a vegan cookbook to convert the most hard-core carnivores, including me. I need recipes that break through the average vegan mediocrity to create works of astonishing deliciousness. Help me change the world /ck/ I'm counting on you
>I'm not trolling
>Both nutrition and taste must be addressed
>Why do all the recipes suck?!!!
I'm not going to be able to even go vegan if I can't take it one recipe at a time. Let's just say I have about a million health issues and am kind of knocking on death's door. I'm actually not trolling. I love animals. I love the environment. I want a way to do this.
>allow me to begin
What is your favorite spirit /ck/ and why isn't it vodka?
>Fucking up after a machine did most of the work.
will having full-partial sleeve tattoos make me a good chef, /ck/?

what's the best pizza you've ever had?
I have a giant jar of lemonade powder and I'm wondering what desserts I can make with it. Got any ideas?
Yeah, throw it out and get lemons. You know, the fruit.
As for serious ideas, sure, but first we need to know what kind of lemonade powder you have. Can you post the brand or the ingredients? Depending on if what you have contains sugar or an artificial sweetener makes a big difference in how to proceed.
Why is food and cooking portrayed so pretentiously in media? Vid related, the movie treats a grilled cheese like a fucking souffle.
I've never seen that movie, but the last time it was posted here it was pretty clear that it was an important scene to the plot, which makes perfect sense.
I haven't seen cooking portrayed pretentiously any more than any other sort of portrayal. My guess is that you're trolling.
Is swallowing a tiny amount of plastic lethal?
>in which unique circumstances is a chef allowed to use ketchup?
What are things you can do with kale? Today I made a salad of kale and chickpeas with tahini-yogurt dressing.
>get Chef Boyardee can
>supposed to be cheese raviloi in tomato sauce
>no mention of meat
>there's the gross meat in the sauce

Im looking for a decent pair of non-slip shoes for work. I saw a pair of TreadSafe brand on sale at walmart but was wary to purchase because Ive had a few pair of their regular sneakers fall apart within weeks. May I have some recommendations for a decent pair under $70 please /ck/?
I love their shoes, and they actually work. Just put in your information, and it will give you a list.
You can stand in a puddle of oil and still have grip. 10/10 would buy again
It tastes like pepsi
Why have people made such a big deal about it?
I just want to see what the hubbub is all about.
And then i'll buy another bottle to sell in a few weeks when it's no longer being stocked for $20. Baja blast bottles are already being sold for $10, for instance.
I just ate a year and 1 month old steak. On a scale of 1 to fucked, how fucked am i?
What do you think of this pizza, /ck/?
Anyone /Garden/ here? Just picked these habaneros. Diced one up and put it in my scrambled eggs, delicious.
Heirloom tomatoes started coming in this week. Cherokee Purples and Brandywines so far, along with the first bell peppers. Eggplant is about a week away. Okra not doing so well, but I remain hopeful.
What is muenster cheese edition
Any good recipes for shrimp fondue. This is a ruby Tuesday copycat that I added turmeric to make it a more appealing yellow.
I am going to make salmon stew tonight. What goes well with salmon? I am thinking about using bell peppers and tomatoes.
Who /mushrooms/ here?
Almost with every meal. I eat pasta a lot because its easy after work. I'll buy some champignons, and slice them up, put them in a bag and keep them in the freezer. They cook fast and stay tender when cooked. Quick sauce: cook pasta of choice, in separate pan saute shrooms in olive oil, add white wine or dry vermouth, reduce, add sour cream and some 1/2&1/2 or cream, grate a generous amount of Parmigiana or Romano or Asiago in it. Sage is a nice addition as well if you have it fresh. Grind in black pepper....

They are the fucking best.
get some champignons and remove the stems, hole them with a small spoon.
chop up stems and innards and fry them with some chopped bacon.
Let it cool down, mix with cream cheese, paprika, cayenne, chopped parsley, salt, fresh ground pepper.
Fill in the mushroom heads, sprinkle with ground parmesan and olive oil.
bake at high heat for 10 minutes.

Salad with homegrown yellow tomatoes and ham tweels!
Why should I? I am not a normal human being. I am much, much better. The difference between me and a normal human being is huge. I only eat ham the best way. Its the best. Its great and I love it.
Why do normies hate coleslaw so much?

will adding a small amount of lemon juice to my bread make for a better loaf? i hear the vitamin C in it can do the gluten some good, but that it can also fuck it in large quantities, and kill the yeast. if i should add it, how much should i add, and when in the baking process should i add it?
