I've watched a few episodes of his series "Good Eats" and I have to say that I like him.
I like the style of the show, I like his humor and his recipes are not only looking great but he also gives quite useful information about some of the chemistry happening while cooking.

I have seen this behavior before. My local butcher has a customer who comes in 3-4 times a week and buys a NY strip steak weighing exactly 0.625 pounds. He insists that it is cut to that exact weight. And having served this guy for literally years, the butcher has gotten really good at eyeballing the weight. Alas, sometimes it takes some extra trimming. I've had to wait in line behind this fuckwit several times.

Hello /ck/ after a long day I was getting hungry and I thought I would make one of my favourite meals, The Tuna. The first ingredient in The Tuna is a package of ramen, any flavour will do.
First, crush the ramen. Completely crush it. This is my favourite step because it sounds like you're crushing skeletons with a steamroller.

Regarding breakfast. Mine: I need my coffe, so boil some some water, let it rest some so it's below boiling temperature. Pour some in my cafetiere to heat it up. Pour that over in a cup for same reason. Couple of spoons coarse ground coffee, whatever brand and taste I happen to be into. Water in. Stir. Wait 4 mins. Press piston down slowly. Enjoying every sip.

Seriously, how can people be alcoholics?
I always considered myself a borderline alcoholic but have definitely crossed the border and started drinking a bottle a day. Big problem is the heartburn/indigestion though. It's fucking insane. I feel like I'm sucking up sulphuric acid when I'm just breathing and when I'm drinking it feels like hydrochloric going down. I'm in constant pain and antacids only do so much. I don't know how alcoholics do it.

I really like the way NOS tastes. It's some kind of mix between tangerines and grapefruit. If anyone knows of a good NOS substitute with less sugar/caffeine I'd be all ears, but I haven't found anything with a similar taste.
