So I've recently bought three chocolate chip panetttones from Morrisons in the UK, after eating two 2 days in a row I've had stomach cramps lasting all night being bad which I now think must have been due to these. Sadly I still have a third and it tastes nice and I want to eat it as a result. But I don't want to have similar cramping again especially since needing to go have Christmas meal tomorrow.
Any advice on how to eat such a thing without it messing up my body?

Was that polite or patronizing?
So... I found out about an hour and a half ago that previous plans are canceled and I'm supposed to be cooking xmas dinner this year.
There will be ham, herbed potatoes, snap peas with Meyer lemon, a spinach salad, and hopefully much rejoicing.
Wish me luck.

I have no friend or family, I am from poland and visiting Canada to do my engineering phD.
I'm like to cook but my hostel not have any kitchen for me to cook (I am removed from residences on campus for the winter break).
I will sit and watch all leaked movies on piratebay.
What some christmas and comfy foods can I buy from the store? Not cooking involved, because I do not have a stove.
I talk to my mother already.
If your English is this poor, there is no way you are getting a PHD in engineering OP.
That being said, just eat whatever you want from the store. Get a ham or rotisserie chicken.
And call your mom again.
did you pre-order your christmas KFC this year /ck/
KFC really doesn't have the lines anymore since literally every single place that offers food now offers some form of fried chicken during Christmas. KFC still makes a lot of money since they offer baked chicken meals and people rarely have convection ovens large enough to properly cook a whole chicken.
Anyone cooking up some fancy food today? Smoked a prime rib for Christmas Eve dinner today at the in-laws.
Protip. When bringing a prime rib to your relatives, make sure to bring your own knives. Would have been better cutting this with dental floss.

Baking anything for tomorrow /ck/?
I tried out this tangzhong process thing for some dinner rolls, it's pretty cool. They're almost brioche texture, but it only used a couple ounces of butter, and the dough was piss easy to work with. You just add a cooked flour and water roux at about a 1:5 ratio.
Broke open a misshapen one to check it out, it's incredibly soft. Definitely gonna use that method again.
Can we have a Cupcake thread?
