Here are McDonald's Japan's latest promotional items:
>an 18k gold McNugget (pic related)

How do I get a nice shiny coating on homemade buns like the ones at McDicks?
It's not egg wash I assume.
Doubling your egg wash with a thicker coat will bring out more browning and sheen off your buns. Give it a first coat then let it sit for a minute or two and go back over it again. It really makes all the difference between a light browning and a golden bun.
At what age will you start to not give a fuck about your weight and just eat whatever you want and do all the drugs you want to do?
High school and college is when your body can most easily bounce back from abuse, and you can still eat garbage without totally wrecking your health completely. Try that shit over age 40 and you'll be a mess in short order.
Which one is better? I used Krusteaz for this video:
, but I like Bisquick a bit better. Bisquick makes softer pancakes with better consistency, but I am wondering if anyone has different opinions.
How do you brew your loose-leaf tea?
Also, are these Teavana tea makers any good?
I use pic related. It works perfect.
The Teavana one is fine. I got it for free from my job, but I don't use it. It leaks just a bit, and is slightly annoying to clean but still works well.
Those tea makers work pretty well, but they're overpriced, like everything else at teavana. I prefer this one I got at ikea for like $7, or a thermos with a tea holder in it.
Made pizza first time. How do I do?
Turning 21 next month, looking to try alcohol to go along with a perfect medium steak to my perogative, don't know if America has Russian vodka available at any restaurants, but if they don't, what kind of alcohol is best to get in terms of taste?
Pic unrelated, though I am feeling a bit under my head for next month and not in any kind of mood due to limitations for life, might go to a bar if I should decide to do so when I go to spend time alone.
is it even fucking possible to make good fish and chips at home?
i'd buy them at vendors but it seems so unhealthy when they wrap them in old newspapers. the ink could be poisonous and i don't feel like getting poisoned.
>is it even fucking possible to make good fish and chips at home?
Yep. Beer batter is easy as fuck and then you just need a nice thick piece of your favourite fish. Cod, Haddock, Flathead and whiting all good choices imo.
You have full control of the batter to fish ratio too so you can get a lovely crisp batter that complements the thick, juicy fish instead of the 75% batter, 25% fish half the fish and chip stores lump you with now.
Chips are easy to make well at home.
I know how you guys feel about hipster ketchup but have you tried green hipster ketchup?
It's actually a lot nicer than standard cha
Hi, moneys run out until Friday so I'm going through my freezer. I have two of these "bbq salmon planks." How would you prepare these?
Slimcados are delicious.
I'm a total newbie when it comes to herbs and spices. I found it randomly growing in my parents backyard. They have no idea too. Any idea what is this?
It smells like oregano, but sweeter like lemon balm. Works well with basil.
why do americans like hotdogs so much?
I have never seen one of those on /ck/, so I think we should get one going. There's much more to its culinary traditions than fucking paella or tapas and it is nowhere as pretentious as french "cuisine".
That shit pisses me off so goddamn much. Who the fuck wants to pick through shells when eating? Why can't the chef or whoever just fucking pick the clams and muscles out of the shell for me? It's not fancy; it's just a pain in my ass.
i'm going to eat the shit out of this cake now
What up spaglords.
I'm creating a website for all the weebs that can't cook. What kinda food do you guys eat on a day to day basis that you would like to see featured and improved.
Ramen can fuck off.
This is for serious food.
Who else loves po' boys?
Who the fuck actually drinks this shit? Have any of you tried it?
I do. I prefer getting the mix and making it myself though. As far as canned go with pic related.
>Why doesnt KFC sell chicken skin?
Sometimes I dont feel like having a whole piece of chicken I just want dat taste and the crispy skin. Make it happen
This place sucks.
Are there any simple recipes that don't require you to either already have a fully stocked kitchen with every herb spice and canned good conceived or be prepared to spend $25 to make a few servings of one meal?
I'm basically working with a kitchenette here and I've got salt, pepper, and flour as cooking staples. I can't find a single thing, even sandwich recipes, that don't require a fuckload of mixed ingredients in fractional amounts.
Pic is kind of ideal. Just some basic items I can pick up and don't end up with 90 pounds of bullshit...

So what's the deal with air fryers?
Anyone own one? How does it work? How does it compare to traditional frying? It looks like a skymall/infomercial novelty, but I've been impressed in the past with slap choppers (what I like to refer to as a poor man's food processor), or the PIzazz rotating broiler.
Came here to ask about these too. I'm moving and a family friend got me one of those and she swears by it. Haven't even opened it yet, but I'm kinda excited to check it out and see how it works.
Anyone else have any good recipes or tips for these things?
Whatever happened to Boston Market? I never see them anymore, it used to be the greatest place to eat....the mac and cheese was the best ever and so was the corn bread
Grocery store does better rotisserie for half the cost. Mac & cheese is watery shit. Meatloaf is bland. Turkey tastes like meat flavored mush.
Still, the potatoes and cornbread are acceptable.
Very new to cooking actual food so I am trying to satisfy my frozen food palette. First time breading chicken. Baked then tossed in a brown sugar/hot sauce glaze. Does this actually look appetizing or am I fooling myself?
Russian man with a passion for hotdogs.
Can /ck/ make a good looking iced Macchiato?
how do I get make crispier nuggies? I made these with leftover onion ring stuff, but I feel like I could do better with a good recipe.
>You can call someone sweet
>You can call someone salty
>You can call someone bitter
>You can call someone sour
>You can't call someone umami
>You can call someone salty
This is only a recent development
>You can call someone sour
Not really, you can say things about someone are sour, their personality/demeanor, their smell, visage, etc
But you can't say "She's so sour" in the same way you could say "He's so sweet" or "He's so bitter"
What's the best low carb things to eat, I'm doing Atkins and wanna die
>like to cook
>all friends move out of town
>no one to cook for
>just order takeout
kill me already
