I found a place in New Hampshire called Chez Vachon that has smoked meat. They serve it on marbled rye with stoneground mustard, though, which seems different from what's traditional in Montreal. It was good. Pretty salty.

Hey guys. I've tried making dough about 20 times, either for bread or for a pizza. The thing is every time I make it, I get the exact same problem.

When I try kneading my dough, the dough quickly absorbs the flour I put down on the surface and becomes sticky. The more I knead it, the stickier it gets. I have to keep placing more flour down about once or twice per minute, otherwise it sticks to my hands and the surface and it's impossible to work with.

I've looked at videos and this clearly isn't meant to happen. Their dough doesn't become...

Hey everyone. So I like to make my own pasta from scratch, and I want to make some and send it to a family friend who lives a few states away. (Probably just cut it as spaghetti)
Does anyone have any idea how I might do this?

I was thinking about cutting it and letting it dry on cookie sheets in my oven (not on) overnight until they were dry and then just packaging. (BTW I've never let homemade pasta dry before, anyone have any tips or ideas??)

Dominos delivery driver here. Been here a month, they already want to make me an MIT. They only make 9 an hour which is less I made washing dishes and less I would make on the road delivering. On the other hand, it would be good experience. I hate it all though and I work 9-11 hour days for relatively little pay, the management is pretty bad, although a nice enough guy, and there are a number of jerks there.

How the fuck do I make mayonnaise? Is there any bulletproof recipe for this? When I tried making it for the first time, I actually came out with a perfect product I was handwhisking it and pouring the oil in by the drops. Since then I always fucked it up and I don't know why.

learn to brine chicken pieces and pan sear then oven roast them.
baked potatoes are easy, but take like an hour.
cut up some cauliflower, season with some salt and black pepper and roast in a 425 degree oven. you can also do this with asparagus and carrots. how long will depend on the size of the vegetables.
burgers are easy. just get 80/20 ground beef, form into a concave patty (shaped kind of like a red blood cell) and cook in a pan or grill, only turn once, only touch it when you turn it.
