How do you make a great arepa? I tried once, but it didn't work. The inside was all powdery and gross.
I had an Arepa with black beans, fried plantains, and avocado once and it was the best thing I've ever had.

Europe, explain yourself.
What the hell is this stuff?
do you guys carry a flask? what do you recommend? was thinking of getting one for myself for christmas.
I got a wide Klean Kanteen 800ml.
Using it to bottle table water for university.
I chose the wide opening because i also wanted to fill in smoothies and its easier to clean.
So far im happy with it.
Why you want to buy one and what do you want to use it for?
If its for outdoor, you should probably ask /out/
Does anyone have any easy recipes that would make this stuff easier to digest? I get stomach cramps (sometimes diarrhea) when I eat any respectable amount of it. I eat plenty of other beans/legumes and I don't have this problem. Thanks.
I can honestly eat an entire block, straight out of the fridge, with a little shoyu and pic related on top.

Share your best weight loss diet ("eat less" is not a diet)
So I have a free pass to go to Wegmans (a high-end grocery store for you europeans) later, can anyone recommend an interesting/out of the ordinary recipe I could try for dinner? I made shrimp with pasta last night, so maybe something more land based. Possibly beef.
Is there ANY recipe where cartilage is actually useful? Every time i bite cartilage i have an urge to vomit, specially when it is on unexpected places such as burgers and chicken.
In fancy layered french terrines they use it as a gelatin layer or glaze.
I had to make them in culinary school.
But the most common use for cartilage is in stocks. You take bones and you make stock with them and the stock becomes gelatinous.
A good stock should look like Jello when its cold.
This is a sign of a Healthy and flavorful stock.
Its good for our Joints.
>mfw I bite into a piece of chicken with cartilage in it
It sucks when you find cartilage in a burger or in your chicken because its not supposed to be there.
It just means that small piece was overlooked and not removed like it was supposed to be.
Blueberry Pancake Pro-tip
Don't add your blueberries to the batter mix.
Instead pour your battermix into the hot oiled pan and drop the berries into the top of the pancakes.
Press them in slightly.
Why do they never have decent lagers or wheat beers on tap? It's always 10 styles of imperial IPAs or some shit. I just want a nice beer that wont rape my taste buds with bitterness.
every beer I had in germany was delicious, but every time I try something new in the states back home it's like drinking a bitter dogs ass.
You cannot and will not escape the hops. Its just the American trend right now.
That being said, its also difficult to find wheat beer on tap in UK. Most standard bars wont have it, and beer places might only have one. Shame really because its very good.
I like to cook it with green onions and garlic, but I'd like to try something new. Share your pork belly recipes.
When I have a hankering for porkbelly I go to Baohaus. I cba to cook it myself when I can just go down the road a few blocks to get a few Chairmen Baos and some tarot fries.
What is the best white fish?
What is the best white fish for the price?
For the price i think Hoki (blue grenadier), but they're all pretty fucking similar and second grade to salmon
Was wondering - how does eyeball tastes like? Does it have some specific flavor and how do you prepare it? Do they differ in taste between the species?
is yerba mate tea the final boss of tea?
i cannot get enough of it. drinking more than a litre a day.
