Can you imagine living in the apocalypse and being a picky eater? Imagine the world going to shit and you need to struggle to survive but your food sensitivities cripple your need to eat.
I'd love a whole show about this desu
>Tries to fish
>successfully catches a fish
>Realize I can't eat this fish without flour and oil
>places fish back in the ocean
>Cry because I am hungry
an item of food consisting of two pieces of bread with meat, cheese, or other filling between them, eaten as a light meal.
Whats your favorite dish or food? Doesnt have to be a fancy thing, could just be a comfort food.
Holubky. My mother makes it for me for my birthday every year.
what's you're guy's favorite topping? I'm pretty simple, my favorite is just Pepperoni and Salami
(Chicago style not allowed)
Depends on my mood. I like the classic supreme: pepperoni, sausage, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and olives.
I also really like the classic margherita. Alternatively I like one with ham, salami, and basil.
Mac and cheese and bacon with crusty pizza cheese topping when I'm feeling especially like punishing my body.
just had taco bell fire sauce on a mcdouble. it was okay. /ck/ have you combined things from restaurants? looking for suggestions and recommendations! :o)
I once had subway and then had to shit in the McDonalds that's two blocks away because the plumbers were fixing my kitchen
10/10 the mens bathroom had a handicap stall, it was clean, oddorless and had plenty of space. Only downside is that handicap toilets are too tall and wierd plus if a legit handicap has to use it you are going to have a bad tkme
Thinking about buying a good rice cooker. Costco has an induction Tiger model for $289. http://www.costco.com/Tiger-5.5-Cup-Induction-Heating-Rice-Cooker-%2526-Warmer.product.100279608.html
Does anybody have any other suggestions. The Costco one is $70 less than the same model on Amazon.
>there's no difference between a $30 aroma rice cooker and a $200 japanese rice cooker

I'm no coffee aficionado or anything but growing up with lots of Cubans on my mother's side, I grew up with this stuff always around. That being said it's pretty damned good. Go to any Cuban sandwich/coffee shop and this is what you'll be drinking
Is it bad to consume lots of honey?
/K/ I prefer well done, but I always put some kind of sauce on it.
Is there a diff taste to rare m-rare, or is it only the texture.
What's for dinner, anon-kun?
Mother's Day; the old woman wanted fish tacos with a mango salsa.
Got 2 cod fillets, just over a pound.
Dusted them with paprika, cumin and oregano.
Made a beer batter with some Corona I had in the fridge.
Fried 'em up good, nice and puffy.
Mango salsa was simple; mango, red onion, red bell, jalapeno, cilantro and lime.
Also shredded up some purple cabbage.
She really enjoyed the contrast of colors, but that's women for you... all eye candy, fuck everything else.
It was an alright dinner.
ITT: post your favorite mid-day meals!
I like to buy a sandwich from a nearby store with a bag of chips and a soft drink for a great mid-day meal
A POP AND BAG OF CHIPS MAKES IT A MIDDAY MEAL, YOU GODDAMN FAGGOTS
Anyone try Gator? Have a meat shop that has Gator, Camel, Bison, Emu, Looking to try something different.
White Castle vs Krystal
Which is better and why
I've only had krystal once and it seemed like their sliders were slightly bigger than white castle
I got the basic slider from krystal and it was loaded up with mustard so I really can't say if that's the standard, because if it is then it loses because yellow mustard (american) is just disgusting
they should rename the cheesecake factory to the salad factory because their salads are good
What do you make with leftover ribs?
All I can think up off the top of my head is fried rice, mac n' cheese topping, poutine, tacos, or putting it on top of egg noodles with a cream sauce.
What is your mom's favorite food?
How did I do?
i swear whenever i eat any "bran" cereal it hurts to go down no matter how much milk i have.
Has /ck/ ever heard of flameado? I forgot about it and saw it on the menu last night and ordered some. I'm not sure if it's authentic Mexican food but at local tex mex joints it's on every menu as an appetiser.
Basically is a big bowl of melted cheese served with flour tortillas. It isn't like chili con queso or nacho cheese, it is not a dip or sauce. It's a melted white cheese, most likely queso quesadilla, Oaxaca, or Monterey jack. There's usually chunks of fajita beef mixed in, sometimes there are also peppers, onions, mushrooms, and...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I have never seen this and I live in tex-mex land. It may be a thing that particular restaurant made up.
Also here's a picture of some 'world famous queso' (for real)
Is Alton Brown a hack or does he actually know what he's talking about?
he went to culinary school so he isn't a retard
That being said he has made 2 mistakes on his show that I was able to detect. That's a pretty good record given how much shit he has made
If there are two ways of doing something..
>way A takes 2 hours and tastes great
>way B takes 5 minutes and tastes 99% as good as way A
Alton chooses the long ass way every time.
I prefer America's Test Kitchen. They are all about making awesome food as easily as possible.
He's pretty good. Only time I've seen him go totally retarded was the mythbusters episode of Good Eats. His ""scientific"" mushroom experiment finds the exact opposite of what he thought was true, so he just ignores it and declares myth buster any way.
Other than that, he knows quite a bit and gives good advice.
How do you cook dinosaur?
Do you guys eat the skin?

I've had dried mangoes once and they were gross. I like mangoes and I like dried fruit, do I'm willing to accept that they may have just been a shitty brand.
