Can we get a thread discussing the sad state of the beer market in Europe? I'm American, and we all know America has, within the past two decades, emerged as the world's premier producer of high-quality beer. Nowadays, you can find high quality craft beer everywhere - from the local dive bar to sports stadiums.
Meanwhile, in Europe, you practically have to embark on a long journey just to find some halfway decent beer like a Brewdog.
The only places in europe that have *decent* beer are Germany and Belgium, but even the styles brewed in those countries...

Got a few chicken thigh fillets here and no idea what to do with them.
Anyone got any recipes?
Does the lack of bones make a difference?
Food hate thread.
What are some foods you absolutely hate?
Spices or things added to food you hate?
I hate avocado and anything that comes from it. Fuck guacamole, fuck dips that have guacamole in it.
Anything with cilantro that hasn't been thoroughly was he tastes like fucking soap and I can't eat it.
So coo/ck/s, instead of wasting time every day going to the store to get food for dinner, I've decided to stop being lazy and plan ahead.
What are some good meals you like to prepare in advance?
What meals should I put on the weekly plan? Recommendations?
Also more generally, how do you decide what to have for dinner every day?
I usually plan a weeks meals, I don't usually premake meals, sometimes I'll make some Bolognese and freeze a few portions (cos I love bolognese) but yeah. My GIRLFRIEND and I usually share cooking duties.
I don't set-up a schedule, but usually just the general form '2 rice dishes, 1 pasta, a soup' etc. and then buy various meats and veggies and work it out later. I don't think there i much use autismal planning meal by meal. Sometimes you'll want to change it
why is there such a stigmata when it comes to ordering steak well done
like, why do people get so much angrier about this than other foods
i only started eating meat when i was 20 so that might be why i don't understand
>Zerts are what I call desserts. Tray-trays are entrées. I call sandwiches ‘sammies,’ ‘sandoozles,’ or ‘Adam Sandlers.’ Pizza is ‘za.’ I call cakes ‘big ol’ cookies.’ I call noodles ‘long-ass rice.’ Fried chicken is ‘fry-fry chicky-chick.’ Chicken parm is ‘chicky-chicky-parm-parm.’ Chicken cacciatore? ‘Chicky-cach.’ I call eggs ‘pre-birds,’ or ‘future birds.’ Root beer is ‘super water.’ Tortillas are ‘bean blankets.’ And I call forks ‘food rakes.
In Iowa today. This is my mom's idea of lasagna.
Post pics as you prepare to eat, and eat, today!
My mom is making stuffing now.
What do you think of my snack assortment, /ck/?
Are "acquired tastes" a real thing or just peer pressure bullshit?
If acquired tastes weren't real then (man)children wouldn't vomit at the mere thought of mushrooms or liver.
Your sense of taste isn't perfect and you need a bit of time to appreciate the nuances of any food you aren't already familiar with in some way.
However, sometimes a food or beverage is genuinely shitty and some people force themselves to tolerate it anyway. Just look at cheap beer or instant coffee.
Me and brother are alone this thanksgiving and he seems pretty depressed.
I'm pretty good at cooking but I'm clueless on what to cook since I've never prepared for thanksgiving.
Can you guys tell me some decent ideas for this thanksgiving lunch with my brother so he can cheer up? I don't want to make huge amounts since it's only us, so yeah.
some stores sell rotisserie turkey breasts.
they taste just as good as a home-roasted turkey imo. and one is big enough to feed two people.
just having some high-quality turkey puts you in a good mood.
Hook him up with a brother/sister Cornish game hen stuffed with wild rice.
Baste it with a garlic butter sauce, but inject if you have the means to do so.
Simple, and shows you care.
Also... Cranberry sauce on the side (canned works) will produce the thanksgiving feels that you want him to have
Trust me or show your tits.
Either way.... Just show us your tits
Any good Black Friday deals on nice cookware?
To all the alone, family-less, people on /ck/, I give you this request,
Please go to Golden Corral for Thanksgiving and report back to /ck/ what it's like. I need all the details and the full report. I'm so desperate to know what a Golden Coral Thanksgiving is like, and I believe a lot of folks on /ck/ would also like to know.
If anyone is interested, please post in this thread. Thank you.
Is it fine if I simply empty a can of kidney beans with some water into a pot, wait a few minutes for the water to boil, then drain and eat them, /ck/?
