My dad used to make "Jailhouse noodles" from when he was in prison.

I've found Ive got to modify the recipes but there are some honest winners. Ramen Burritos are ingenious on hiking/camping trips.

Can we get some good food stories. Restaurant, customer service, home cooking. Anything goes.

This past thanksgiving I go to a buddies for dinner, he's a chef. And bought a deep fryer.
While he's inside working sides, I'm heating the oil outside. When its ready I take the turkey out of the container and see almost all of the skin missing!

He put it in the stock pot!

I almost left after dropping the turkey in the fryer, but I'm not that rude.

what's your pasta sauce recipe, /ck/

mine's pretty lazy but i tend to like the results

>can of crushed tomatos
>three tablespoons tomato paste
>third of an onion
>4-5 cloves of garlic
>salt
>black pepper
>oregano
>basil
>red pepper flakes (i like it a tiny bit spicy)
>teaspoon of sugar
>splash of red wine

i just fry the onions in olive oil until tender and then throw everything else together and let it simmer until whenever

i want a big /ck/ thread of all the little things we do in our own pasta sauces in hopes of archiving it someday as an alternative for newfags strolling by and actually wasting time with kenji lopez-alt's autism recipe
