Hey guys. Buffet Girl here. Back at Giant Pianda Buffet in Orlando Florida. Pretty good for 4 bucks!
Ask me anything
What's your favorite kind of breakfast sandwich? It doesn't have to be in pic related, but should follow the theme, if you will.
Break it down for us:
>additional fillings like onion, mushrooms, etc.
>gravy, steak sauce, ketchup, etc.
>anything I'm forgetting
I'm going out east for Thanksgiving, I can't wait to go to Wawa. There's one down the street from my girlfriend's parents place, you can bet your ass I'll be there daily.
Also there's a breakfast sandwich at Maverik called the Son of the Beast. Egg, cheddar, sausage, ham, bacon and maple glazed donut.
For six months or so I've been photographing most of the food I have prepared at home.
Now I shall dump it for your enjoyment/envy. I'm a trained chef, by the way.
Help me out /ck/ trying to think of something I can make with what I've got (very poor), I've got $1.5 for additional ingredients also
Here's what I've got atm:
1kg wholemeal flour
500g plain flour
500g caster sugar
500g plain white rice
750g stale lasagna sheets
Cheap "beef" sausages
flavourless packaged parmesan cheese (powder like)
(Most usual kitchen spices,...

These are the "beef" sausages I'm referring to btw /ck/
And I've got 6 of them
Cabbage is the only option of those, it's Australian dollars and I wouldn't be able to afford more than one meal worth of carrot/broccoli
Never heard of a cabbage recipe like stew or stir fried cabbage as a main meal before, how is it? I imagine it would be kind of non filling and bland
I might try a stew with the sausages and potatoes like you said, that could be nice and I think a whole cabbage is just over 1$ so could afford
What's your xmas menu?
I'm looking for ideas, especially for veg sides.
I realise it's still November, but I have a couple of things in mind (like sous vide pork belly) that I want to give a test run before xmas day, for science.
rocket walnut pear salad
Beetroot soup with roasted pork ribs
Roasted goose w/ gravy, lingonberry jam, potato dumplings with parsley and braised red cabbage with apples and bacon
mousse au chocolat with whipped cream for dessert because fuck the police
Lobster tail, served with your choice from fancy green beans, grilled asparagus, or a loaded baked potato!
Is there a better combo than coffee and donuts to dunk in it?
New to cooking here.
I want to try and make some delicious chinese food! Don't crucify me, but I mean the western style. I.e. Honey chicken, honey soy chicken, mongolian beef, cantonese beef, etc.
All the take-away "classics".
Please help! :)
Thank you all kindly.
Describe what makes a great tasting beer for you.
non-US people, is this what you really think
I don't think that Americans eat a lot of bread.
I'm German. I eat a lot of bread. The stuff you sometimes categorize as bread sickens me deeply.
From what I see online it seems to have gotten better since the last time I went to tht US though. And then there's German towns of course.
How many of you guys actully work in resturants? And i dont mean shit tier resturants like fastfood or chains
I'm a server at a local southern joint.
I hate the linecooks and our "head chef" is an Aunt Jemimah type old black woman who is merely there as a gimmick to make the food seem special. The entire place is wacky.
So, I've read on /ck/ that this is a great curry mix.
I went and bought some but the instructions aren't very detailed.
How do you guys make curry with this mix?
I'm guessing it's a powder and you add some combination of hot water/oil and marinate or simmer it with your meat and vegetables. It really should say on the packet though. What's the point in pre-packaged recipes if you need cooking knowledge to use them?
Do you like the sausage roll /ck/?
Going to the store tomorrow to get food while I'm on a diet/cutting. I have no idea what the fuck to cook. Need things that are high protein and healthy.
Currently got Turkey Chili on my list
If you are looking to cut, tuna is great,
If its not fresh a tin in a salad,
Even the above on some light Ryre bread
small handful of peas
slat and pepper to taste
Two meals you can prep for a day or two especially the chicken one in Chinese containers
I am SICK of oats. FUCK oats.
What does /ck/ eat for breakfast? Is it quick and easy to make? Can it be made in bulk?
