Sup, guys, I was going through my spices and found this bag that I brought from Israel a couple of years ago. I can't remember what it is and the smel and taste arent familiar, looks like fine greyish powder. Can anyone understand what is written on the bag? It's probably hebrew, but may be arabic.
yesterday I put a whole chicken on, simmered 1hr removed meat. added bones back and continued to cook for additional 7-8hrs. reserved meat in fridge.
cup of flour, adding vegetable oil until smooth.
here's where Im at now, 30min in. Still probably has 20min to go.
Why are so many chefs fat slobs who smoke a pack of cigarettes a day?
What about the profession attracts these people?
Being a chef is one of the few existing jobs where you can be a tatted up disgusting ugly slob of a person and actually expect to advance, because literally no one but the other people in the back have to suffer through the sight of you.

What's the best way to start enjoying the texture of tomatoes, /ck/? I like the taste, but I've always been put off by the texture of it. Are there any ways to prepare large chunks or wedges other than eating them raw in a salad or something?
When you eat, do you cut the food with your knife in your right hand and fork in your left hand, then pass your fork to your right hand to bring it to your mouth?
Or do you eat like a normal person?

So huge problem here. You know how when you just want to drink a cup of tea or need some hot water for your ramen you will start boiling water. In my case I always fill the water boiler up with more water than I need because why the fuck not. At the end I use up only a small amount of the water which seems like a waste to me.
Any tips what I can do with boiled water?
rate my breakfast /ck/
I have strep and a nasty sinus infection.
what are some good food ideas and drinks to make and/or buy while im getting better.
while it's not really food but a home-remedy so chop one or two cloves of garlic, add to a spoon, drench it in honey and then eat it
do this twice aday.
both garlic and honey helps fight the strep with the honey canceling out the raw garlic taste(or atleast most of it)
Okay will do, should I mince it to go down easier or at least cut the clove in half? Or will that make it stronger?
Could I add cinnamon to those two aswell.
Im about to run to the store to get my stuff, would pomegranate tea be a good idea? Or is there a better tea for strep.

What am I in for lads?
My mom was nice enough to give me extra money. I'm going to use it for food that I rarely eat, taste good, and is more expensive.
Anyone have some recipes that are a little expensive? Something a little different, perhaps like acorn squash spaghetti.
I'm thinking of making a couple of fish dishes; it cost more than meat and I rarely get to eat it.
Also, I'm making sweet crepes right now. Any ideas excluding jam?
