I've been under a rock for the past few months. I just crawled out and saw this.
Her cooking is atrocious, even more so than Ja/ck/'s, but I wouldn't wish that sort of shit she's gone through on her. Unlike Ja/ck/, she seems sincere and sweet. I hope she gets better soon.
The other day I went to a local Mom and Pop restaurant that has a soup bar. I put my newspaper at my place and headed to the soup bar to get a bowl. I also ordered a BLT when I got back to my booth. nyway, there are 2 old men getting soup and talking and the one old man got his soup and walked away and the other old man started talking to me. He said cruises are the best way to take a trip. They offer so much, he told me, they really are the best vacation option.
As he got his soup and walked away I thought is this right? When I'm at a soup bar I'm there to get...

That's sad you're not comfortable talking to others, that you dismiss another person's inane topic as 'indoctrination'. Social isolation and paranoia is a serious problem you should seek help for.

On the bright side, my hand smelled like Italian food for a week
What kind of bike bags does /ck/ use for visits to the farmers market? Front or rear panniers? What design is best for carrying home seasonal vegetables and local dairy and meat from independent sustainable local farms? Is Ortlieb simply too waterproof for food? Does your significant other object to Carradice because the leather straps are non-vegan? Do you judge people who leave the produce exposed for all to admire their triumphant return from the market? Or have you evolved enough where you are non-judgmental about such things?
If you saw someone doing what's shown in this picture, would you stop him and explain why cardboard panniers are a poor choice for sustainability?
This thread is for cultured and progressive people who eat and live sustainably. Cagers who irrationally hoard six month's worth of third-rate frozen food at Wal Mart and similar places based on some apocalyptic fantasy, I invite you to not post in this thread as there is plenty of room on /ck/ for your point of view. Just not here. Thank you.
Huh what did you say? Move aside hippie, america coming through.
That one meal everyone has to eat before they die
>whats her name /ck/
Just had one of this babbys for breakfast!
What's your fave hotpocket?
What is the GOAT cheap chocolate?

Is it okay to mix and match noodles?
I mean they're just noodles it's not like they taste different.
So, who started the meme of baking the pizzs with the circular shape?
Why don't they cook it with another shapes?, for example pic. Related or just a plain square.
>work at a place where half the menu is individual pizzas
>dough rolled out into long ovals by prep cook
>making pizza for myself one day
>roll the oval into a circle and proceed to make awesome, off the menu pizza
>chef walks in right as i'm pulling it out of the oven, perfectly cooked
>A FUCKING ROUND PIZZA!
>yes chef, as it was meant to be
Spent $10 on some non slip shoes when I first got hired as a cook. Now that I know I'm a...wait for it.... Shoe in for the job I want to get some good non slip shoes for. These Payless ones are falling apart by the step. Any recommendation from you line cooks??
I'm not a cook, I do other stuff and need shoes that provide not only great traction but also look good. These fuckers I wear go through salt encrusted snow drifts and all sorts of shit, still look good, and keep traction even on marble floors. Apex.
Is Jewish food considered to be good tasting to normal people? I could see how their dietary restrictions could force them to come up with really good stuff to make up for it, but I can also see how it might make the food incredibly boring. What are some good Jewish foods?
There's some cute #wifeymaterial waiting for you.
Doesn't it ever weird you out when you think about your emotional response to food? It's all just chemicals on your tongue and in your brain!
Well yeah, you can say that about anything. You don't really love anyone either for the same reasons, or like boobies just for the sake of them being boobies. You like them because you're genetically predisposed to being nourished, not because boobies are magical or ethereal.
Has /ck/ found any great recipes online that you'd consider staples now?
I've been using Chef John's wing recipe a shit ton, though I'll switch out to try different sauces here and there (the one he posts is bretty gud though).
Any other success stories? I'd love to hear of other sites with good recipes.
Oh yeah, here's the wing recipe:
Thanksgiving approved food
>stuffing (actual stuffing not the shit with apples in it)
>honey baked ham
>Green bean casserole
>not baking cornbread stuffing in a casserole dish
it just becomes too soggy if you put it in the bird.
