What is the best tasting ethnic food and why is it Vietnamese?
Which style of donut do you prefer?
Light and fluffy on the inside or thick and full?
I honestly can't decide.
There are fluffy donuts like this that you could squeeze and flatten with your fingers.
Then there are thick donuts like this that would crumble if you tried to squish them, but they have such a full taste to them.
idk if theyre technically donuts but these are pretty darny goody, especially with a sweet mint tea
i might try my hand at making them this long weekend
Tips for tuna? Besides drowning it in mayo.

The theme of Round Three is...
This is the last of the open rounds, might as well use the nostalgia in your advantage to make it to the elimination rounds! Make a dish that is linked with good childhood memories. There are no restrictions or requirements, as long as it seems like a pleasant thing. While you're perfectly welcome to make a large spread of food, please make sure there is clearly a "main dish" because that is what people will be voting on.

what is the best way to eat out alone and not look like a sperg?
Just go by yourself?
It's really not that hard
Though you will notice (at least I have) that female waitresses get pretty friendly with the lonely guys (I think they' try to get a big tip)
Why shouldn't I just use a piece of cloth instead of throwaway paper coffee filters?
some people do and you can even buy premade ones made of different materials like hemp or flax
idk how different it is but i would imagine it might absorb more of the coffee solids and oils, those premade filters are very very thin
pepperoni or salami?
Pepperoni is the Americanized processed meat version of Salami.
So obviously Salami is the only correct answer, unless you also prefer American processed cheese over real cheese, or chocolate flavoured vegetable fats over real chocolate.
Does anyone ever eat food out of the garbage? Of course I don't mean obviously rotten food, I'm talking things like relatively fresh food on the top layer of trash bins. Sometimes in order to save money I'll go to my university's cafeteria and eat people's leftover fries and sandwiches out of the trash if it still looks okay.
ITT: Overrated shit
ITT: food that triggers you.
Steak & kidney pudding.
Not only do you ofend my senses with a disgusting cooked suet mix that passes for a 'pie' of sorts. But you add insult to injury by adding in a meat that has literally been soaked in piss for its entire life.
Fun fact: Heinze once tried to sell kidney soup. Unsurprisingly it did not sell well because it literally tasted like piss.
My gf moved in with me and insists on cooking for us even though she's shit at cooking.
What should I do?
What are you drinking these days, /ck/?
Are these box wines any good? I have to get one for a party I'm going to and I know nothing about wine. The list is from a website that had a list of "good wines"
I'm trying to impress an Indian qt with my cooking skills, any recipes you can recommend?
Put on some hallal approved music and wear a turban and take a shit in the cat box and wipe with your hand.
Shell be in bed in no time.
But really, just ask her what her favorite food is and then make it. Or something similar and offer it to her.
No breakfast thread in the catalog. Went all out for a week day.
How often do you get carded when buying alcohol? Age?
What are you ordering?
>What are drinking
>whiskeys you want to try
just bought some jack daniels single barrel select i already can tell i've been memed on
Evan Williams Single Barrel with an age statement is the best deal in terms of American whiskeys. If you find a bottle of that pick that shit up (23-33 retail). Their new batches are coming out NAS so yeah
Eagle Rare is my favorite
This is what heaven tastes like.
What's the official /ck/-approved method for roasting the perfect chicken?
stuff an onion and carrots up its ass, rub with mustard, butter, sagem, rosemary and salt and pepper, roast at 375 for 90 minutes in a dutch oven, making sure the chicken is off the bottom
>collapsible steamer stw
>or cut off 2 beer cans
Who lives in a country where this masterpiece is served as regular fastfood?
might be the biggest treat, when living in Germany
I supposed this would go here.
Been using cast iron for a few years. I guess you could say I'm a collector.
I noticed on this one Lodge skillet I found at the flea market a few years back has a heart on the bottom of it next to the logo.
Can't find anything on the internets about what the heart means in relation to the product.
Anyone have an idea what it means?
Also: General Cast Iron thread
Recipes, collections, experiences.
I doubt it means anything, other than maybe some kind of manufacturing identification marking.
Why are you asking random internet people anyway? Just call or email Lodge customer service and find out directly from the source.
I guess I could do that. But it's almost midnight and I wanted to know now.
Plus I've never posted in /ck/ before so I felt this was a good excuse.
Probably a marking for time of manufacturing, because I don't believe they're like firearms with different origins or approvals. I love my cast irons because they're dead simple, handle metal instruments, and can go in the oven, but I really want a carbon steel to have less weight and less upkeep. Too bad they're ridiculously priced...
>There are people on /ck/ RIGHT NOW that don't like grilled cheese
How does this make you feel?
Why does it feel good to eat spicy foods but not to shit spicy shits?
What causes burning pain to feel good located in your mouth but not around your asshole?
Why must the pleasures of feasting on chilis be met with regret on the pot?
I don't have a problem with spicy food. That burning feeling comes from eating cheese or other high fat foods like peanuts. Try eating something spicy that is low in fat, and see if you get the same pain later.
Back at the hipster coffee shop
I'd like to have black and white tile like this so I can play chess on my floor
Pan seared salmon with a butter and lemon juice and a heavy black pepper crust. It helps with digestion. It's actually dinner for me because I work the night shift. Pic an artists representation.
what is your favorite cheese? pic related is mine
>He puts the unfinished crust back in the pizza box right before grabbing a new slice
I've yet to meet a person who doesn't eat the crust but, as someone who used to leave it and feel it was bland:
Why not leave about a centimeter or two of cheese and topping from the crust, then take a simultaneous vertical bite so your crust doesn't taste that bland?
How does this make you feel /ck/?
