Hey /ck/. Is a japanese rice cooker with this 'fuzzy' bullshit worth it over a cheapo cooker at walmart?

What's the main advantages of a 'quality' rice cooker?

Whenever I attempted to make brown rice in cheap rice cookers they tended to boil over no matter how much I washed it. Would one of these help with that? Am I just autistic for nop being able to wash rice?

Are boneless chicken wings actually real, de-boned chicken wings or are they just chunks of breast meat?

If they are usually breast meat, why is this? Why don't wing places just offer de-boned wings for people who don't want the hassle and mess of bone-in?

Also is it easy to make my own boneless wings at home? I love buffalo wings, so damn tasty, but fuck I hate gnawing around those bones and I almost always bite down on rock-hard pieces of cartilage and bone and I actually chipped a tooth this way once.

Hello /ck/,

I have a problem. I bought some beef tripe at the store, and I don't have any experience in cooking it. all the sources I find tell me so many different ways to cook it safely.

Some sources tell me to par-boil it for 30 minutes after cleaning, others tell me to simmer it for 1 1/2 hours. Others tell me that since I am in the USA, it's already cleaned and I shouldn't have to worry about cleaning it with rock salt and hydrogen peroxide.

Is it actually a yam or is it really a sweet potato? If it's one of the orange-inside sweet potatoes, skin it, cube it, and toss it with pineapple chunks, melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Then bake until fork tender. If it is whitish yellow inside, you are on your own.

When I eat a meal I'll eat each food on its own. Say, for example, I have a meal with chicken, roast potatoes, and carrots. I'll eat all the carrots, then I'll eat the potatoes, and finally I'll eat the chicken. I will never say, eat a few carrots, then have a bite of chicken, then go back to the carrots.

Phyllo Dough thaws quickly.

I just blanched some spinach and mixed it with feta cheese, parm and some sauteed garlic and red onion.

You use melted butter and a pastry brush to make the Spanakopitas.

I make mine with two layers of Phyllo and fold them into triangles. Then brush with more butter.

The skin is all that burns. It becomes all black.

Then I put it in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap so the steam from the pepper helps the skin come off.

After awhile you can peel all the black charred skin off and rinse it and all the seeds away.

I saute more onions and garlic and then I deglaze with white wine and blend this up in a blender with the pepper then add cream and chopped basil to the sauce.
