How much coffee would you say this would make? I usually use this much for 4 cups. It's roughly 1/4th of a cup before grinding.

For French press, I use ca 20-25 grams for 3 (small) cups.

For moka I don't know the weight. But I think it's more than what you have there, again for 3 (small) cups.

I like my coffee robust though.

almost all of them are too sweet. I'm also assuming you mean bbq sauce you can buy at a store and not homemade. because the best ones are obviously ones you make yourself, but there are good ones that aren't 90% corn syrup

My deviled egg recipe :

Do the thing with the eggs.

Mash the cooked yolks and add:
Mayo
Yellow mustard
Tiny bit of dill pickle juice
Tiny bit of hot sauce
Chipotle steak rub or Old Bay
Salt
Pepper

Blend together and add back into egg whites. Sprinkle smoked paprika on top.

Adjust quantities as needed for flavor, trust me on the pickle juice, it's key.

Hey /ck/ i'm looking for a pickle recipe but not just any pickle recipe. My great grandmother used to make pickles with just salt, now I never had them but my grandfather and his brothers used to eat them all the time and loved them. Nobody ever wrote down the recipe and all I know is she used about a gallon and a half or 2 gallon container for like a dozen pickles then threw in "a handfull" of salt and put a cheesecloth over the top and waited 2 or 3 weeks then scooped all the salt off the top and thats all I know, I don't know if she waited longer or what,...

The only good use Ive found for ground pork is to make meatballs.
You'll need some beef to cut it with, but you can make a fuckton of meatballs and freeze what you dont use. Thats what I did when ground pork was 99 cents a pound, and the frozen meatballs are godly with a real quick pasta.

So for christmas i want to make a bunch of gingerbread and i used to have a good recipe but its lost anyone have one thats better than what i could find on the innernet? Also i wanted to try baking some other kinds of biscuts but i dont know what really goes with gingerbread. Any help would be appreciated, im not the best with this shit

375g/13oz unsalted butter
300g/10½oz dark muscovado sugar
150g/5½oz golden syrup
900g/2lb plain flour
1 tbsp bicarbonate of soda
2 tbsp ground ginger

For the icing
3 free-range egg whites
675g/1½lb icing sugar, sifted
3 tsp lemon juice

Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6 (fan 180C).
Melt the butter, sugar and syrup together in a large pan. Sieve the flour, bicarbonate of soda and ground ginger together into a large bowl and make a well in the centre. Pour in the melted butter mixture, stir it in and, when cool enough to handle, knead to a stiff dough.
Roll out and cut into desired shapes bake the gingerbread for 7-8 minutes.
For the icing, whisk the egg whites in a large bowl until frothy. Using a wooden spoon or a hand-held electric mixer on slow speed, add the icing sugar a tablespoonful at a time. Stir in the lemon juice and beat the icing until it is very stiff and white and stands up in peaks. Cover the surface with a damp cloth if not using immediately.

Let cool then ice using a piping bag or a resealable bag with the corner cut out.

I currently have not enough free time, a good amount of disposable income, and only a microwave to cook with. So I've been trying out TV dinners, and I haven't been impressed with most of them. Best one I've found so far is the Stouffers italiano Lasagna, but most other ones are bland at best.

Does anyone else eat stuff like this on the regular, if so, what's your favorite variety?

The "health food" section has some good stuff, not sure how healthy it actually is and don't care but they actually have interesting dishes and try a little harder I think. Some regular grocery stores will have this stuff. Otherwise you may have to go to a more upscale store like harris teeter or trader joes (but I would still avoid whole foods since the markup is so ridiculous).

Amy's, bertolli, kashi, evol, saffron road to name a few reliable brands with lots of options. You will be surprised by how good some of this stuff is, and if money wasn't...

I don't know about patrician, but I do know about making it taste good. Make thick porridge (I like to add a good handful of sultanas), don't add any sweetener at this stage, but salt it reasonably well (teaspoon per pint sort of thing). Let it cool and solidify. You can then slice it - take a slice about an inch thick and fry it in butter, sprinkle it liberally with demerara or muscovado sugar, and eat it.
