Exotic soda thread?
Exotic soda thread.
I got some back in August when amazon had 'em on prime shipping but now I'm contemplating getting some from http://www.amigofoods.com/guan12pa11oz.html
Seems super cheap but I don't know how much shipping is and whether it's reliable.
I really enjoyed this stuff the couple of times I had it. I think I still have a can in my cupboard somewhere from my last trip...
moroccan soda called Poms. Had it when I was there and want it so bad now I'm home. Apple flavored. Sooooooo tasty/
Not really exotic, but these things are delicious. I don't know why they aren't more popular.
hope this counts because i fucking love cucumber soda
I once saw a US cola on this board that looked interesting, but I forgot what it was.
It has been around since the 1930s, and has what looks like a cartoon boy from that period. I think the name is something like "zippy cola" or something, but I haven't found anything.
zafer is better
too bad you can only find it near denizli
go to your closest mexican store (even asian stores carry it sometimes)
then get this
its strange but really good
youll thank me later
Found this stuff at a primarily Asian import store. Absolutely delicious.
Polfags will get it, this is some good stuff right here. Every childhood memory has this flavor...
I used to get those when I went to taquerias when I lived in California. I have since moved but I have found a Mexican market that carries it and has conchitas and tamales so I am happy.
Try Lurisia Chinotto if you can find it, best one I had.
>buy some Ramune on a whim from wegmans
>check the instructions to see how to open it
>there are none, it just tells you not to try to take the marble out
>have to look up the instructions online
>it doesn't even taste that great
I'm guessing it's so popular in Japan that everyone knows how to open one.
>no malt soda
I am disappointed /ck/
but I didn't expect much to begin with
This is not the same as Turkish Gazozu. It doesn't taste the same.
It took two days and the whole kitchen staff to open the bottle but it was worth it
>goya pleb malta
>dont know about GOAT Hatuey
I love this shit, but it's not carbonated so technically not "soda".
>It really soothes and cleanses on it's way out.
Fortunately I have never had that issue. Was there a sugar substitute involved here?
The aloe drinks I've found are all very sugar-heavy so I don't drink them very often.
My dear friend. Your taste in Cola is impeccable and botanically brewed.
Hey man, it looks like you posted the wrong image file to go with your post. Here's the correct one; no need to thank me.
That one is by far the best one. It's not overly sweet, has that sour tamarind flavor. The carbonation in the Jarritos drinks is fantastic. It's one of the best soft drinks I've ever had.
Just ordered this fucker from Malaysia. I'm fucking excited, should be here in another week or so.
I have no shame for spending 18 bucks on a soda. I NEED this in my life again, and if I find out I hate it so be it but god I've been craving this so much.
I've had an intense and irrational craving for this ever since I picked Infinite Jest back up 2 weeks ago. I've never had it and I live nowhere near where it's sold.
Funny you should ask, because I was going to specify but I figured no one would care.
Definitely male sweat. Not female sweat, I'm a junkie for fresh female sweat. Also fresh female asshole. Ever lick a girl's armpit while you're going at it? Jesus it's the tops. Bottle and carbonate that, I'll sell my car for a case. I wonder if you took a pair of panties and made a girl wipe her ass with them (not like wiping shit, but like after a shower with just a little bit of sweat, but really getting in there to get the pheromones on 'em) and then put them in a glass bottle with an airtight seal, you'd be able to crack it open when you really need to get the blood pumping. Would the smell keep, do you think? Or would it go bad after a while?
Anyways, on the topic of the soda, I'm gonna say male sweat, not OLD but not fresh. Relatively fresh, but at a point where the person isn't still sweating.
And it's like a male friend, not some gross stranger. A moderately attractive one, not someone you're gay for (this is not John Stamos sweat) but like you know what kind of girl he could get and it's not a bad kinda girl y'know? It's not gross but it's not a smell you'd seek out.
>live in Waco
>drink the freshest Dr. Pepper and Big Red in the world
Other than all the David Koresh jokes I had to deal with from my family and the insane Baylorites, I have been in worse.
This is probably only exotic to me, but it's my favourite.
Not sure why that flipped, or if this will even fix it but hey
MAAAAAAAAAAN I want the purple one. Please tell me there was a purple one! yft im white.
Right here. Loved the red one, only ever drank it in South Africa.
Has anyone ever had "Blue Jean" or "Youki". I used to drink them in Africa and they weren't half bad. Especially Youki.
>*I wouldn't I love kids actually, but I also loves me some Jarritos*
oh my god they still make it?
where did you order it from I need to know I NEED TO KNOW
Not anything special, but the container is awesome. It's a metal soda can on top and a plastic bottle on the bottom.
I know this might be a bit too exotic but fuck it. Mirinda is a very popular fanta-like soda that is co-owned by pepsi. You can find them in a lot of countries outside North America, but this one is a bit more exotic. Citrus Mirinda is exclusively made for certain countries in the middle east. It was first rolled out as a test soda along with grape soda and two other ones that I forgot about. It sold so well that it became their best-seller right behind the orange one. Now it has gained a memestatus (real talk) but I still like it for what it is. It's a little bit tangy but not so much that you pucker, sorta like sumac kind of citrusy, a cross-over between lemon and spinach is the best approximation, yet it is a 100-folds sweeter. The after taste is that of fruit acid, not soda acid. It's very aromatic and the closest thing is probably melo yello mixed with sprite but it isn't very close. I have been looking for it for years but I couldn't find any online. The last time I went back home I put a 24-can cartoon in my bag and enjoyed it while it lasted.
OMG! This has literally become a staple of ramadan drinks. Every ME market every ramadan have them on sale and on the front door. It tastes really good
Grew up having Guaraná being pretty much as common as Coke. It's great and all but brazil is so shitty when it comes to snacks and soda. I keep seeing these cool snack varieties and exotic sodas here and we have nothing down here. We don't even have fucking mountain dew. I wish i could drink Sasparilla one day, it sounds tasty.
you do know you can get them at any walmart right? I stock that shit up at my store
>mfw im leaving walmart for target
Step it up. I mean it's not exactly soda but I'd still qualify it as a soft drink since the alcohol content is neglibily low. One of the very few upsides to living in Russia.
Kvass is awesome.
But even better is pic related, they make a range of naturally brewed non-alcoholic sodas based on cane sugar. Also available, real sarsaparilla, guava, peach, lemon lime and bitters et cetera.
>Rivella is a soft drink from Switzerland, created by Robert Barth in 1952, which is produced from milk whey,
don't know if want
Here's some shit you'll be hard pressed finding anywhere but the central asian countries and neighbouring territories.
It's a very slightly (barely 1%) alcoholic drink made from horse milk.
And it's fucking amazing.
It's also the cultural drink of the mongol hordes and something I've wanted to try since I was 12 and read about the Great Khans.
The fact that it's being mass produced blows my mind.
A bottle a day keeps the tiredness away. Seriously one of the main products in every students diet here in Deutschland.
OP /threaded his own thread.
Also, Kuat. It's also a sort of guarana, but still manages to taste completely different.
Guaraná Antarctica comes in other versions, though I love the original one I can't stomach the light or zero ones. If I'm not mistaken they once made a "refreshing" version too, it tasted like drinking the original with a mouthful of mints.
>pls guaraná stop trying to make other versions happen and be glad that the original is great
>OP /threaded his own thread.
Not really I'm still here and have about 5 comments beside this one. I'm glad to have my first 150+ responses thread that is relatively free of shitposting.
This is pretty good, but I'm not sure if I like it better than mexican fanta
dude, those two drinks arent even the same.
cheerwine is hella good as a float though. cookout was the first i saw cheerwine, and i got a float. shit is so good every time.
jarritos, or mexifanta, or whatever its called is god teir fruit soda tho
I love that this thread is still here every day when I check in. Lots of cool suggestions for drinks that I will be looking for.
Also, I love <pic related>. Good on its own or as a mixer. When I was a little kid it seemed like mainly a Michigan thing, but these days they sell it in OH as well.
Did they sell it in AZ 50 years ago (when I was a little kid), anon?
Wiki: For most of its history, Vernors was a regional product. Initially Vernor sold franchises throughout Michigan and in major regional cities such as Toledo, Cleveland and Buffalo.
If it tastes anything like Big Blue, than it has no flavor other than the flavor of sugar. No tartness, no fruit flavor, no excitement whatsoever. Easily the worst soda I've ever had.
