What's the best trail mix?
Here's one of mine:

Is this for actual hiking or will you be inhaling it while browsing 4chan?
I do everything I can to avoid salty foods when I'm /out/ because it means more drinking and pissing and having to carry more water.
I like almonds and dried apples. The apples are good to mix into my morning oatmeal too.
If I were going to make my own trail mix I would probably put these in it. Not sure what else I'd add with it though.

I like the idea of fruit with chocolate but can't stand dried fruit because I always feel like I'm chewing on labia. So I stick to fresh fruit and if I want fruit with chocolate I go for those or chocolate covered strawberries.
