Legend of Korra is /co/'s go to example of tremendous potential, and pretty much everyone on this board admits that it's not a good show, at least not as good as the Last Airbender. So many things went wrong - the characters, the plot, the pacing...
...but what went right? What elements of LoK did you like, /co/?
Personally, I've liked the villains - except Unalaq and Vaatu, they were all relatable, likable, unique and interesting. Also, art deco and dieselpunk is certainly something that I enjoy, and because of it I forgave Korra a lot of it's flaws at first.
So I watched this for the first time and what the heck, why everybody is an animal and not human?

>WOULD YOU DIE FOR ME?
I'm a 100% heterosexual dude, but i've to come clean and say that Jared Leto was sexy as fuck in that scene. If i were a woman i'd also jump inside a toxic chemical tube.
What did he mean by this?
He comes to the relaization that the act of observing or attempting to influence Earth Prime in any way causes new permutations to split off. You can't go to Earth Prime and destroy it, because the act of doing so creates an alternate reality where you didn't survive the trip (and realities that spin off from that) and an alternate reality where you're stopped, and so on. You can only destroy branches of the tree, not the roots.
And since his goal was to destroy the root, he realized his entire mission was folly.

Are we just talking pre zombie simpsons? Becaue I'd imagine all the worst episodes would be episodes I haven't heard of because nobody watches the simpsons anymore
I'm don't know nearly enough about the Simpsons to recognise the episodes by name, since they never actually show them during the episode
>ITT: /co/ characters only you like.
I really like cw Cait on the flash. She's bee. Through a lot and still puts her life on the line to help the city. I really want her to be my friendfu even if she's killer frost. I'm glad she's on the team again
I don't think anyone hated her, it's just most times she's pretty superflous to the plot, they fixed that pretty well on Tuesday.
I like Julian he calls out Barry on fairly justifiable shit.
I was worried some didn't like her. I really feel sorry for her tho. The show. fucked her over time and time again in various ways
>Grow up with bad mom
>Get a job at star labs and meet good boyfriend
>Star labs Explosion essentially kills boyfriend, puts boss in wheelchair, and made her be hated for working at star labs
>BF comes back but on fire and fused with some old dude
her crippled boss is really a psychopathic speedster trying to murder her friend
>They eventually get fixed, allowing Cait to marry
>Same day of wedding is the day Ronnie dies again, for keeps this time
>She meets earth 2 flash and eventually date
>He is also an evil speedster
>She also meets her evil alternate universe self, which freaks her out.
>Is held hostage by evil speedster
>Eventually after his defeat, Barry time travels, causing Cait to discover her powers, putting her through the pain of being an enemy to her friends
Some people just have it awful it seems.
He was an interesting character too. But ironically I was hoping he wasn't alchemy. It seemed too predictable
Find a flaw.
Just got around to watching this the other day. I was just expecting some more adventures like with Kerub's. Anyone else a little taken aback by this one, even in the context of the rest of the Ankama stuff? I felt they somehow went a lot further this time round.
I don't think I've ever seen as much of that in an animated thing before. Right off the bat too. And then the Bakara and Karkass stuff. Rippling muscles and giant crotch bulges for days.
Can someone give me a plot to use in my comic book

So with Season 3 becoming a thing, is this series actually worth looking into? How does it compare to the old DCAU/Teen Titans shows?
I'm a Captain Marvel fan and does he actually get to do stuff on this show? Just looking for a new hero cartoon to dive into.
It feels flat compared to the DCAU. The fights are weaker and the characterizations are duller. None of the villains have any personality. And they have this dumb habit of explaining plot points like they're reading pff of wikipedia.
what did she mean by this
Which cartoons, movies, and/or comics are you looking forward to the most in 2017? Pic related and hopefully more news on
the C&D Rescue Rangers movie. It's been too long.
the hype and wait for any scrap of new info or leak is murder.

Be thankful I haven't kicked your head off by now, bitch!
I just saw this, what did we think of it?
Not the extended, just the normal in the theater
I was really disappointed by it because I was hoping the rest of the cast (besides Smith, Robbie, and Leto's glorified cameo) would get some more screen time and generally thought the editing turned it into a trainwreck.
But I don't speak for you or the rest of the board.
HOW DID WE GO FROM THIS?!?!
Why were these movies praised so much? Honestly they're pretty bland and boring. I liked Zootopia a LOT more and thought it was actually memorable unlike these two.
Big Hero 6 was ludicrously overhyped. I remember how hipsters kept saying that it was better than Frozen, as proof of how anti-mainstream they were. I also remember Doug Walker got so much shit for just saying it was mediocre.
Inside Out was praised for being one of the few children movies that understood that you can't be happy all the damn time.
