Judging by Madame Foster's age, people have been creating imaginary friends for a very long time. We don't know exactly how long, but at least since before the 50's. A time period known for not exactly being PC.
That means there are probably imaginary friends based off of blackfaces and other racist imagery common during the Jim Crow era.
The question is, where are the racially-insensitive imaginary friends now? Does Foster's lock them up like they did with the scribbles? Or have they been banned from Foster's completely?
>That means there are probably imaginary friends based off of blackfaces and other racist imagery common during the Jim Crow era.
Why would someone racist, make an imaginary friend that is a racist caricature to be friend with?
>The question is, where are the racially-insensitive imaginary friends now?
Old ones probably died already.
Also, it is show that imaginary friends that dont go to Foster...just find other places or...

You seem to be under the misapprehension that people who did things that we in the present might consider racist did them out of hatred and not a sense of superiority.
Many kids who struggled to make friends might have wanted a friend they could order about without difficulty.
Jessie is the best thing to happen to this show
What was his problem?
>I have to change time to save my family!
>But we can't change time to save Laurel, sorry, it just wouldn't work.
Is the show that poorly written, or is this guy a pathological liar?
I thought he was one of the better characters of Season 1. Definitely a better performance than Drake and Josh with their terrible cartoony articulations. He's gone in Season 2 at the moment, but of course IMDB reveals that he'll be returning some time after the mid-season break.
George Jetson is 40, and Jane is 33. Judy is 17.
This means that George was 23 when he fucked a 16 year-old Jane.
>Its a "hero has to fight a giant bug" issue
>it's a "the monsters are just hugely upscaled normal animals" comic
NGL I fucking love this.
What mental disorder(s) does Dale Gribble have?
I miss him more every fucking day.
Morrison's run was pretty good but after him nobody knew what the fuck to do with New 52 Superman. He wasn't clearly defined as a character as the Post-Crisis version was, he was just a generic Superman with an armor. That's why the stunts started. The relationship with Wonder Woman, Super-Flare, Truth and all that shit. It's just one of many things that went to show the mess of a failure the New 52 initative was.
Oh and before you say "you didn't even read comics", I read pretty much the entire run of New 52 Superman (even the atrocious Lobdell run) and this is why I'm talking about this shit. This is pretty much what they did.
They should have kept New 52 Superman so they could do something similar to what they did with Earth 1 and 2 Superman back in the day. Old Man Superman exists for fans who want to see a more traditional take on the character while still evolving the character with the introduction of the Super-Son while New 52 Superman goes off and tries new takes on the character that could otherwise not be done with Classic Superman's background and tone
Failed /co/ projects.
Channel tans are working fine.
But its not like there is an "endgame" for it or anything, its mostly drawfag-driven.
Lets talk about Earl Norem, and other forgotten greats
Why is Skeletor riding elephants?
ITT: Catchy songs from cartoons.
This was one of my favorite scenes from South Park in years.
How come there are so many redheads in comics/cartoons?
Is it an aesthetics choice? is it author preference?
Is there a deeper meaning to the disproportional amount of redheads in this medium?
Are artists subconsciously compelled to create redheads in an attempt to recreate the one who got away?
We must find out
Remember when we all attempted to uncover the lost spongebob movie but we wasted our lives looking for something that never existed.
"I solemnly promise to you, dear reader, that I will never, ever paint that many boxes again."
Is that his excuse for why this page is almost two months late?
Also goddamn he is so bad at transitions. Where is this place? How did Kim and Lilith get there? I guess we'll just never know.
Explain to someone who's never read a superhero comic what is this character's deal.
What are his powers and what's his endgame?
>What are his powers
>what's his endgame
To fuck Sue Richards
Why wouldn't Tony use the Hulkbuster all the time?
Maneuverability. For the average threat it's better to be able to move freely than to have overkill weapons and armor, when the standard Iron Man suit is already very well armed and protected against things that aren't Hulk.
sooo now that doc strange is out and generally was well received what are you excited for next?
My excitement peaked with Civil War. Strange is probably the last MCU movie I was really looking forward to.
I'll probably keep watching them until Ragnarok. After that nothing really interests me.
I know we take great pains to forget that nuPPG exists so I just figured I'd take this time to remind you all that it exists.
Maybe it'll die next year
>The made that one girl from the old show into a retard in the new one.
For some reason, that's what stings the most. A normal character is suddenly retard in the remake for no apparent reason, she just is.
>Maybe it'll die next year
Keep crying, I'll enjoy itbeing renewed for 8 more seasons.
Top row is better at everything
Honestly though, even they could tell that the new designs had some pretty obvious problems. I'm glad they fixed them up with Justice League and Batman beyond.
Besides, I really blame the existence of Superman TAS. After that was made the DCAU was really born, and you needed designs that could fit in the same universe.
Is she a Mary Sue or not?
No, because she stressed out over accidentally flipping a kid and breaking his arm.
It took Steven stabbing Bismuth through the chest, inadvertently corrupting Jasper, and dooming the Rubies (notably Eyeball) to be shattered from space debris to even reach that point, and that's with trying to fill Rose's legacy and leading three plus two vastly different gems and making them get along.
If anything she's an excuse to get Steven wielding his mother's sword without actually wielding it.
Cute girls>hot girls
Post cute girls
Maybe movie continuity needs to be applied to comics in order to force writers to actually write stories
What a shitty character. Literally a Mary Sue.
What do you think of him now?
I think this thread needed good ol' Dad to come in and surprise it! I'm going to break it down so hard it's Mom won't recognize it!
All the Adult Swim stuff using the exact same character designs and often even lifting animation directly from the 60s series has made it hard to go back to the 60 series and take it seriously.

Let's talk about about our favorite comic from our favorite VP!
The very moment someone comments or suggest something remotely dark or bloody inmediately is labeled as "edgy" as if that was inherently bad.
What's so bad about being edgy? When people stopped thinking blades, chains and skulls are badass?
>lets set them up
Can they be anymore cliche?
Miles/Kamala were already set up & ripe already...why ruin it
Do you only jerk off to cartoons at this point?
What went wrong?
