Why is it cool to hate Frank Miller nowadays?
Just saw the trailer for F is for Family. Looks hilarious. How you guys think it will be?

Post cute in the real cute /co/ thread!
An old art of gumball eh? I also have this.
Black Death in America by Tom King and John Paul Leon
/CO/ I'm a secret santa to a guy who is 21, but has the intelligence of a 14-15 year old. He likes boobs, action, and slapstick. The problem is that the comic I'd like to get him should contain SIMPLE dialogue. This guy is a gentle giant, sadly, he's also mentally handicapped. He can read, but can't comprehend items someone like Alan Moore might throw into a comic.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
I've been considering Bone, but even that is heavy on dialogue. Thoughts?
Pasqualo causin' all sorts of problems
Has there ever been a mutant who just lied to everyone and told them they were a mutate?
We all know Star Wars will tear these fuckers into pieces. But theres more...
Thanks to the AATC show on Nickelodeon, parents are gonna realize that they don't have to pay $10 a ticket and concessions when they can watch the show for free... Same thing happened to Penguins of Madagascar...
Nickelodeon is so stupid that their airing an 8 hour AATC marathon on December 19th. Thats the movie's opening weekend... Nick is also airing movie commercials with them singing "I Like Big Butts and I Cannot Lie." Gee, I wonder how that will appeal to parents....

Man haven't you noticed their master setup though? Releasing the same day as Star Wars. This will fuck with every movie theatre, starfags will move into Alvin by mistake, tickets accidentally sold to Alvin and not SW.
This will be the day Alvin wrecks SW.
Fourth, this franchise has defied the usual Talking animal sequels. Usually first sequels to talking animal movies make 40%-60% less than their first. Like for example, Garfield in 2004 made $75m and Garfield 2 in 2006 made $28m.
Alvin has defied the trend by having the first sequel in 2009 make as much money as the first movie. $217m first movie. $219m 2nd movie.
The 3rd Alvin movie made 40% less than the 1st and 2nd movies with $133m. Still enough for another sequel.
What's the consensus on New X-men? I really liked the kids, Beak, Angel and Fantomex was great. Some of the Cassandra Nova stuff was weird and sometimes it felt like Morrison was pulling twists and resolutions out of his ass (Xorn, Phoenix rewriting history)
Also Beast is kind of a selfish prick isn't he?
ITT: We post the best choices for various lanterns, the catch is that they cannot have been a lantern before in major comics
>who they are
>which lantern color
Pic is Jason Todd, I think he'd make a better Red Lantern than most
Can it be characters other than DC?
I think Cap would either be a Blue Lantern of Hope or a Green Lantern of Willpower.
I really hate the concept of "hope" power, but this is a pretty common sense choice for the Captain America. America, he's about freedom and liberty, doesn't have "powers," but gets a lot of his reputation from what he stands for. In video games, he commonly gives other characters buffs from his "leadership" quality, you can say that he inspires hope in his teammates.
and I could see him as a blue, especially since he's big on defusing situations that are over the top (in most scenarios) nd the blues are the only ones who can remove a reds ring safely
Heathcliff is riding on a unicorn.
You can actually pinpoint the second her heart rips in half.
Who the fuck even reads Archie?
Scratch that. Here's a better question: Does anyone read Archie other than the same kind of dopey whitebread tedious fucks that watch shit like Glee or Dawson's Creek or the Hunger Games? The kind of sad peon who likes to dream up corny ass high school AUs? Is it the comics equivalent of Grease? Is there anyone who reads Archie that is not, in point of fact, a grade-A milquetoast motherfucker?
