Why is DC winning TVBowl?
Pretty late but I didn't see a thread in the archive.
No subtitles with this one though. Hope they aren't ditching their English audience already.
Heathcliff gets a dog to translate.
I'm a disgusting normie who say Daredevil on Netflix and wants to get into the comics now. I already ordered Daredevil: Yellow from Amazon, what else should I read? I know everybody's gonna say Frank Miller but I'm not a huge fan of his Batman books other than Year One. Thanks.
What's the worst Marvel event? After Civil War and Secret Invasion I decided to skip Seige. I am going to read Fear Itself and Avengers vs X-Men but I'm not expection much. I'm currently reading X-Factor and it already spoiled the AvX outcome and it was pretty predictiable.
Are Minions still popular
Found this gem yesterday. Don't know why it's Storm, but whatever.
>Mother: A feat roughly 99% of females are capable of.
>Works 24 hours a day: On call and working are two seperate things.
>[Meaningless list of professions]
>[Meaningless list of other things] And you bet your ass they get sick days.
I find this drivel to be more pathetic than the forced minion thing.
Is this the closest we're going to get to a new Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle comic?
Why would a corporate billionaire care about a rookie newspaper journalist, let alone know him by name and engage him in extended conversation like they're on the same level?
And then why would he talk about the meeting between said rookie journalist and another billionaire like it's a big deal?
>he already knew who they really were!
I doubt it, and still stupid either way.
>YEAAAARGH! YOW! HOLY MACARONI! YOU DO NOT WANNA PICK A BATMAN VS SUPERMAN DAWN OF JUSTICE IN IMAX 3D WITH THIS GUY! YEEHOO HOO HOO! WOWZERS!
>it's a Scotsman episode
Why are there little to no Lord of the Rings comics? It feels like such an untapped market considering DC could potentially get permission from Warner, and the Tolkien family has even allowed free creation in gaming, yet no comics?
What would a Tolkien-verse comic even 'be' like?
There's an absolutely wonderful Hobbit comic. I highly recommend checking it out. Done by David Wenzel. Gorgeously illustrated throughout.
>If you really loved me.....
Goddamn why won't this bitch just fuck off forever
Wow, Family Guy.
If Disney said "We don't want any of these movies anymore." Which one would you want?
The Aristocats (1970), Robin Hood (1973), The Rescuers (1977), The Fox and the Hound (1981), The Black Cauldron (1985), The Great Mouse Detective (1986), and Oliver & Company (1988). Nestor the donkey as well.
*Winnie the Pooh omitted for obvious merchandising reasons.*
They should try for a remake. Just a full on, balls to the wall pretend-the-other-film-doesn't-exist reincarnation. Enough time has passed, go for it Disney, only don't fuck it up again.
Why aren't villains allowed to be intimidating anymore?
>LETS WATCH HER DIE TOGETHER!
I'm not seeing the fascination or cool factor over Peridot. Seriously she has almost no motivating backstory that makes me sympathize or empathize with her. Her character design is very generic, and as a 'main villain', I generally don't care about her. It's not even clear WHY she's so obsessed with eliminating the gems.
If anything, the story of Jasper/Lapis is far far more interesting. Peridot should have been like a one episode or at most one story arc villain.
her character has been dragged out far far beyond anything to hold interest...Agree...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
To put it more bluntly... her cheesy, cliche and poorly written "escapes" come off more like the Team Rocket folly of "We're blasting off agggggainnnn" The show should really be above such child like writing
>It's not even clear WHY she's so obsessed with eliminating the gems.
It's been spelled out pretty clearly. She wanted to eliminate the Gems initially because they were interfering with her work, and later because they were preventing her from escaping the planet before the Cluster awoke.
