I'm 4 issues in and am really about to drop it. A shame because I love Black Panther.
None of this would have been a problem if they stuck with what SS is originally supposed to be used for, which is covert government operations where the government aren't clearly the good guys, hence need to use villains to shift accountability onto. SS shouldn't be saving the world, or doing anything overtly heroic.
What would Superior Batman be like /co/?
>"And then, and then, Batman finds out there are THREE Jokers, daddy!"
A story about a giant the attacks both Batman and the Joker with a big splash page where it pins them both to the side of a skyscraper forcing Batman and the Joker to unite against a common gigantic foe?
Better than Snyder Joker stories at least.
I follow Scott Snyder. I'm imagining him running his stories by his son.
"And then the Joker cuts his face off!"
"It's foreshadowing Alfred getting his hands cut off!"
Any favorites? any related stories?
My dad apparently bought pic related and was super-excited for 6 weeks before they turned out to just be paper cutout soldiers. Somehow him relating that story really helped me cope with dissapointment
I came across some of these recently. I'm afraid to try seeing if they were ever found.
Does /co/ have any charts like this?
Who else here likes Sam and Max?
Why are there no shows like Jacki chan adventures or xiaolin showdown anymore ):
Where the main characters go around the world collecting these items and battling their enemies these used to be awesome.
So after all the warnings and signs, how many parents did you see bring their kids to see this?
DO YOU LIKE MY EYES ROCKO?!
This has to be the worst thing I've seen from nuPPG
So Harley Quinn
I just don't get it
Out of all the DC characters to blow up big
What do you think of the work of Ralph Bakshi?
He turned people into furries.
So according to the government officials in Suicide Squad, Superman was considered a national hero that shared the same values as them... in Dawn of Justice however, we see Superman saving an African village from a drone strike, and another scene showing Jon Stewart commenting on how Superman no longer wants to be seen as an American hero.
Am I missing something here? What gave the impression to the Federal government that Supes was on their side?
They haven't really done a good job with consistency or keeping their story straight. As far as I know there's really not even a reason for him to have a military funeral in DoJ. It's just another one of those ideas that works well on paper but wasn't applied well in the film universe due to plot threads being rushed
What is your favorite animated Very Special Episode? I was always partial to the Braceface episode where Sharon had an eating disorder
I had no idea this show had so many semen demons.
Look /co/, I'm petting the kitty!
Huh. I really did not expect to find this one in my plastic bag of random Washington Post comics sections from 1999.
I wish had a copy of the follow-up from the next week.
I can only imagine how bitchin the inside of his shell was I mean he had tons of stuff inside.
I know the digital isn't out till this week so most of us won't read it till then but did anyone pick up Teen Titans Earth One Vol 2?
Is it any better than the first volume?
Is that Wally on the cover?
I stopped by the Toy Vault on Thursday and saw it on the shelf, and was pretty surprised that I haven't seen it talked about anywhere online. The cover was also different (it's Terra crying while holding an unconscious Cyborg) I held off because I wanted to see what the internet had to say, but nobody is talking about it.

So now that it's a couple episodes away from finishing season 1,can anyone who watched this show actually say whether it's good?
(After the first awful episodes and that transgender pony episode and the noticeable animation errors)
I mean does it really deserve the hate or is it just a very mediocre-bad reboot?
How did they get away with it?
>>This comic was so bad, that it killed Mark Gruenwald
Is this true?
Nah that's bullshit, Gruenwald was the one that got Liefeld some of his first work in the industry after looking at his portfolio at a con.
That anecdote comes from an anonymous person in Marvel Comics: The Untold Story where the author had a heavy bias against both Jim Shooter and the Image Founders
>"Enchantress can steal nuclear or military secrets from any enemy nation in the world in less time than it took me to complete this sentence"
>"I want to use her to combat supervillains"
>"I have a better idea: let's just keep using her to steal enemy secrets"
>"We should use the Suicide Squad as a metahuman deterrent"
>"What's a girl with a bat and a gun gonna do against Superman? Why not just use them for government dirty work instead?"
>"Thats what I meant lol"
>>"I have a better idea: let's just keep using her to steal enemy secrets"
and Why not both?
If it hadn't been her brother, it would have been flawless
Had the dude kept a better eye on the enchantress, her brother wouldn't have escaped
It was a solid plan, the execution was less so
Both have attractive features
What is the general consensus on Killer Penguin?
Denny is entertaining as always, and this is one of the holes where he puts more emotion (it's over the top, but you still can sympathize with the characters in a human level).
Returns can be a loose adaptation, but i see it more as a alternative take on Batman and still a great movie
This scene for example is as powerfull as is funny
the emotion clearly came from elfman's score, not the performance itself. this could easily be a comedic scene with the right music. or wrong music, should i say
