Childhood is when believe Batman and the Joker are mortal enemies. Adulthood is when you realize they want to fuck.
>Just recently shot and paralyzed his partner whom he had sex with
>Not even the least bit angry
>"I don't want to hurt you Joker. Let me help you."
Gay as fuck.
>this was the last crossover Marvel Comics ever produced
How does this make you feel, /co/?
>Marvel: we move the pieces on the chessboard but never to win the game
>It's a Steve lusts after Francine episode.
>It will never be a "Hayley lusts after Francine " episode.
This is coming out next month.
Will it be good?
Is Morrison's JLA worth the read? recently read Finale Crisis and it was very eh.
AW SHIT SON
Captain Marvel is the stuff. I can't get enough. I mean, Stark is right and all but this is still good shit.
Nothing would make me happier than getting to shill Bendis comics. Getting money and (you)s just for supporting the greatest and most forward-thinking writer of the modern era seems like a sweet gig.
Childhood is when you idolize TJ. Adulthood is when you realize that Randall makes more sense.
well TJ we can make that happen if you can pay the price
You have been tasked with making Game of Thrones: The Animated Series.
How do you alter the source material to be more kid-friendly?
So this is the chapter where we learn Sandy's been a bitch all along, right?
>Being Daisy is suffering
>Being Mike is suffering
>Other heroes have tragic origins
>Nightwing lost his parents when he was a child
>Magneto's parents were Jewed by the Nazis
>Spiderman lost his uncle and girlfriend
>Kyle Rayner literally had his girlfriend cut into tiny pieces and placed inside his refrigerator.
They all got over it like normal human beings. So why can't Batman?
Would a Max Fleischer style cartoon work today?
>Would a Max Fleischer style cartoon work today?
Yes, Cupman is a game done in old style western animation. However, there are little to no demand for american 2D animators in the main stream animation sphere.
Are you excited for The Great Race?
This moment, man.
And I can't believe that RHATO become my favorite rebirth issue so far. I mean, just wow.
>failed YouTube comedian turned super villain
Interesting take on the character
How bad is this going to be?
Johns. Cereal Lord.
You're a decent writer. I love most of your stuff. But please. For the love of God. Please do not use your new position and make your backstory for Manta canon for the movies.
No one cares about Manta's dead dad. No one likes it.
All Manta needs is to be a burning ball of hate for Aquaman. He doesn't need a good reason to hate him. Just... let him hate in peace without a shitty backstory.
ITT: Cartoon pilots you really want to be full shows
Apple and Onion also looks good
That redhead guy is probably the only downside of the entire pilot to me. Everything from his design to the way he speaks feels like someone went "He needs to be as obviously less cool than the main character as possible and also look as visually different from the main character as is possible"
This pilot was okay. I think /co/ gave it too much hate for something not trying to stand out too hard. I mean, the criticisms are right but they were also put sorta mercilessly. It has some decent potential and I'm a sucker for big-diverse-family/gang type things.
Welcome to Hell I wish was a full show though. That's a concept I'd absolutely love to see more of.
>Making fun of cliches while still relying on them
No thanks, if it becomes a show it should drop the whole highschool thing and the protagonist girl and just be about the ghosts.
why the fuck you havn't read it yet ?
why is there no /co/ wiki for recommendations
There is a tumblr with rec images, but it hasn't had a submission or update since 2011.
For the dead direct links, use the search function on the right sidebar. It directs you to the original post, and an update link to the image.
Describe /co/ in one image
>It's a "Teen Titans Go! writers strawman their detractors" episode.
Why are there so many of these?
For some reason, it seems anyways, a lot of writers have a 'fuk h8rs 'n trollz, lol' attitude that keeps them from improving or learning from criticism. This applies to 90% of the entertainment industry.
Can we have a Habits/Terribleterribleterrible thread? All these MMO threads recently reminded me that this still exists.
Favorite Archer moment?
Mine is where he has to shut off his mother's dildo and there's no sink.
>"The CW TV show is too light for the tone we're going for"
>Ezra Barry is more quippy and over the top in one scene than Grant Barry is in the show
What did Snyder mean by this?
1. Which Green Lantern do you like better?
2. Which would you like to see in the Justice League movie?
Remember when Eddie Murphy tried to eat Pingu?
This could actually work pretty well.
Aren't writers and showrunners generally a lot more important in TV?
Apart from the Jason Mewes cameo, you could barely feel Kevin Smith's creative influence in the episode he directed.
The only recent TV show I can remember where the direction really shone above everything else was the first season of True Detective, come to think of it.
