I showed my dad "You're Welcome" and he said a minute into it that Maui was fatuous. Is my dad full of shit?
name a better superman arc
Is the ''lolrandom'' humor the lowest form of humor? Why is so hated?
>Ed Edd n' Eddy did it well.
There is nothing random about the show, the episodes had themes and they sticked to them.
I mean retarded bullshit like OP pic, that Dr. McNinja shit is just a comic about meme humor
For "lolrandom" humor to work well it has to be used sparingly and the rest of the setting has to be straight or at least consistent.
This is too much to be asked of most writers.
Literally just a black female animal man
Though Animal Man was significantly less popular and less used then Vixen was after her introduction right up until the unusual series that made him famous.
And by "less popular" I meant he hadn't been used as anything other then a panel extra in decades.
what is alan moore's greatest work
Am I the only one who actually likes the current design of Captain Marvel?
Maybe I just have a thing for dykes.
Do you think a Wonder Woman sequel can happen?
What should it be about? Because 90% of her iconic stories are origin retellings and the rest doesn't seem easy to adapt, specially in the DCEU landscape.
I can't even imagine how would they do a sequel to the 2009 animated movie.
Can we take a moment to appreciate how great The Boondocks actually were? It's so sad it only lasted 3 season. Yep, 3 glorious seasons...
Who HYPED? What do you want to see?
Is this part of the main line continuity? Or is it a what if?
Working on something and im curious to see what /co/'s fave batman villains are. Theres a good chance i missed a few big ones out, so if i have just put it here.
What does /co/ think of the Arkham series?
Including Assault on Arkham and other tie-ins (if any).
I like the series, but there are still many problems.
The overall story isn't great. The Joker being the villain in Origins was annoying and the Arkham Knight twist was obvious from the first minute. Batman's plot armor at the end of Arkham Knight was just bizarre.
The game-play isn't exactly consistent after Asylum. Flying around in City isn't fun after doing it a thousand times for Zsasz and the Bat-Mobile gets way too much use it Knight. Origins has the problem of becoming way too damn...

I really enjoyed the Arkham series overall. It's probably the best Joker has been compared to recent comics. Perfectly balances the killer and the clown. Even though the bottled-eye monocle is silly, I still enjoyed that version of Penguin. It was an enjoyable take. I was disappointed with how much Two-Face got shafted in these games. Arkham City is my personal favorite in the series. The Arkham Knight prequel comics were enjoyable.
Where does /co/ download comics from?
I used to use /rs/ a decade a go and then I just downloaded what I want from kickass torrents but now I can't find crap and I'm not a part of any private trackers besides shitty demonoid.
This cartoon is going to be a big disappointment, isn't it? Bogan isn't exactly a top-notch production company, and their only other notable project was Exchange Student Zero which was just terrible.
Both are hanging from a cliff with their dear lives in peril. Which one do you help /co/?
Why do people deride CG animation as ugly and inferior to "2D" shit
sometimes if you look at the original 2d drawings they were better, but oftentimes not. for some reason CG artists seem to be instructed to make faces as deformed and misproportioned as possible. I guess they think that solves uncanny valley or whatever
though before the CG fad started, 2d movies were already starting to get ugly (emperor's new groove etc)
I haven't the slightest idea.
It's been eight years and I'm still wondering why they nerfed him.
What are the best Superman runs and stories?
HARD MODE: No Secret Identity or All-Star
For the Man Who Has Everything. What's So Funny About Truth, Justice and the American Way? What Ever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? And one other that I can't recall the name of, where he flies into the sun and overdoses.
Is Batman autistic?
How would he even know about Israel?
Why would he even care? He's the fucking father of Odin and lives in fucking Asgard and shit
He traced the muslim invasion of nordic countries to Israel
Or he's being used as a shitty strawman because Odin was busy being a shitty strawman for Jane my-hammer-is-a-semi-sentient-storm Foster
I'm at midtown comics. Tell me what to buy
I miss monstrous heroes. There's something more noble about a freak of nature who is hated and feared but does the right thing anyway, instead of just some whiny teen, or some angsty ubermesnch.
The archetype seems kind of dead, though. Wolverine's hot, whether he's a hot old man, a hot teen girl, or a hot Hugh Jackman. Deadpool is beloved to the point that his hideousness is no longer a factor. Even the Hulk is a cool teen now.
Where've all the monsters gone?
Jesus Christ, how many teeth does Ben have in his Thing form?
>A Sapphire that could predict every move of the predictable Homeworld elites
>A Ruby that could defy the predictions of any future vision projections made by Homeworld
Did the formation of Garnet change the Gem War? It seems like Homeworld really didn't stand a chance with her around
Sapphires can't predict anything with 100% certainty. They don't have true future sight, they calculate probability. They're like a computer. They can create predictions based on variables but they can't know anything for certain. Ruby's actions were the 1% that she wasn't prepared for.
Unpopular opinion, but I kinda wish comics moved in real time, like the Marvels series.
Big name series and titles could be continued with legacy characters. The Batman my dad grew up with isn't my Batman. Kinda like what almost happened with the Flashes.
Old characters could come back to mentor the next generation.
I know most series only have 12 issues a year, but it wouldn't be hard to believe that a hero only has 1 or 2 major events take place a year. We don't see Batman's every take down of the Riddler.
The one and only...
