Let's talk about everyone's favorite Mega Man character.
Xander Payne. One of the villains in the ARchie Mega Man comic.
He was a soldier who had his eye destroyed by Elec Man's attack, and developed a hate for all robotics because of it. He helped found an anti-robotics terrorist organization, but then they got arrested, so now he's working solo.
He recently traveled through time and now its hinting he's he villain of the second Sonic Crossover
Another one? Didn't the last erase their memories or some shit?
Anon please, greatest robot master of all time here.
Shade Man thread?
Shade Man thread
I can't fucking wait for Shade Man to show up
He travels through time and space in weird ways and sees the first crossover. It'd just seem to be them bringing that back in as some kind of lame plot point, but the narration boxes imply this is somehow going to lead to a future crossover.
But that's wrong.
The wave happens exactly at the last issue of each comic before the crossover. All characters DURING the crossover are "most current game version" because wibbly wobbly timey whimey. Mega Man is returned to the exact moment he left when the crossover ends with no memories of anything.
It's its own little pocket. It's not in the future of the comics, it's at the end of both game series circa 2013. There is a distinct difference.
It also sold a bazillion copies and Archie's making like six different trades for it because people keep buying it. It's the most lucrative thing they ever did with either franchise.
>"Yes it's canon."
>Implying that means anything in terms of linear timelines.
>In the Mega Man franchise, no less.
The crossover is canon because it effects both universes and absolutely happened. That doesn't mean that it's literally later in the direct comics timeline and everyone just kind of blanked out for a day in Mega Land Post-10. That would contradict the stuff Wily and Eggman laboriously exposit at the start of the crossover and Ian's own words when it was going down.
Why do we even care? Mega Man's a clusterfuck when it comes to time travel. Quint and R-Shadow and the crazy spinoff universe shit with some of the other entries just makes it a huge mess not worth untangling.
And somehow Wily admitted he altered time in his reality to make the crossover happen...but then they fixed that...but it's also the same time and space it was before and wasn't fucked with at all.
And somehow Wily replaced his other self at that place in space and time without it being in a bubble either, and it's co-dependent on a reality that apparently doesn't exist but DOES at the same time and is non-canon.
>the second Sonic Crossover
When was that announced?
She's only following her heart, and besides robots can't truly be related.
To bad the topic will never be in the comic. I would have been happy with Roll just being a jealous "sister" about her "brother" giving other girls more attention.
Nonsense, thats just her being a protective little sister, so that Rock is not taken advantage of by that... uh... very attractive woman whom I have never seen before and I'm sure is a stand up individual.
And that... uh... Roll hates Ruskies?
I like the pigtails, though.
>I like the pigtails, though.
And that artist REALLY likes Roll ...and Splash Woman.
They're 2/3rds of the entire Classic female cast, so... no wonder.
True, but still.
I was able to get him to draw... things with Tempo before, so at least they're not the only Mega ladies he's touched.
I wish Honey Woman was canon, and not a scrapped concept
Wouldn't mind W Waltz showing up, she made a cameo in Dreamwave comic.
What about Plum?
Of course the two little girls have panty shots.
Okay, Roll and Splash Woman are half of the entire Classic female cast.
That was drawn by freelance artist Hideki Ishikawa, aka the artist behind Mega Man Legends.
But if she shows up, I think it should be the redesign he made of her
from his nsfw pics,it fits the style of Mega Man better.
He even made 8-bit sprites of her, and I found that pretty cute.
>That was drawn by freelance artist Hideki Ishikawa, aka the artist behind Mega Man Legends.
You forgot to bring up the guy who's artstyle this comic copies for the first 4 issues and a lot of the covers.
>You arguing against Ian Flynn?
Just like I'd argue against Penders about MXYL, yes. Death of the Author and all that.
Even putting that aside, he's said it's canon and the crossover is post MM10. That doesn't go against what I've said at all.
Either make him less one dimensional/obsessed with killing robits or shove him in the X timeline where him killing civilians doesn't ruin the feel of the book.
Ian's already made the first idea impossible now, so...
>Dull colored sprite with neon blue in tiny portions of the sprite
I'm going to guess it's the oblivious anime character trope, and doesn't get why she's holding onto him and kissing him.
This is the main reason the draw threads have gone to shit. It's literally the same fucking people repeating their requests over and over to ad nauseam. As long as you get it free and fish out one of the newest drawfags who don't know you're annoying, it's a free pass huh lamarfll?
So when/if they reach it, how the fuck are they gonna do Megaman Zero? I mean it features such kid-friendly topics like genocide, racism, death, questioning morality, sacrifice, and the main villain is Dr. Wily Hitler, as well as the saga having a heavily distinctive artstyle
They already showed a guy dead ...heavily shadowed mind you, but still.
>Trying to bail shitposting
