Who are your favorite characters?
Which are your favorite Looney Tunes shorts (or eps, these days)?
Best gags? Artists? Music?

I swear you guys, this frog is a Looney Tunes character! He sings, he dances, he does tricks... c'mon little guy...
...Yeah, the art styles are virtually identical.
Speedy is my favorite.
>Try S2's Lola.
Sure. So, uh... you think these styles look the same, huh?
Aside from the face, the only real differences are how curvy her legs are, how perky her bust is, the tilt of her hips, and how much her ass is accentuated.
And honestly, who pays attention to such minor details in a female character's design?
You know not alot about character design, huh? They look nothing alike. And
>And honestly, who pays attention to such minor details in a female character's design?
Is how you get shit like Rapunzel face.
But accentuated in extremely different ways. If you don't think the Space Jam Lola is more sexualized, you're probably not a heterosexual (or bisexual) male, or a gay (or bisexual) female. In fact you're probably blind and/or dead.
>Implying LTS Lola even has a bust
Bugs has a better rack!
Quite a few of his solo ones and a bunch of the ones with Daffy and Sylvester. Other than the stutter jokes and other characters appearing in the short i just don't find Porky's cartoons that entertaining.
That's sort of the point. Porky is a hapless loser. Less so in some of the older ones, but the point is to see the poor guy having to deal with entertaining if often horrible people.
See, I know what a rabbit is.
I know what a duck is.
I know what a pig is.
What the fuck is a "Russo"?
>Getting your Bugs crossdressing fix from TLTS
>first and fourth
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. is currently making plans to bring the Looney Tunes gang back to the big screen with Steve Carell attached to star in a CG/live-action hybrid
While little is known about the plot currently, there is some debate over to the level of which Looney Tunes characters would be involved. The script reportedly centers on the Acme Corporation, maker of all useless products that never seem to work properly when you need them.
Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, who wrote X-Men: First Class, are on board to pen the script, while Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, who directed Carell in CRAZY STUPID LOVE, are in negotiations to direct.
I've been waiting for more news on this movie. Thanks!
>The movie, however, would not center on the Looney Tunes characters and is being planned as a CG/live-action hybrid.
As a fan, it sounds a little disappointing, but my gut tells me this is a good idea.
>Lola will never tell you how nice she thinks your ass looks
Bugs is totally gay, there is no way to deny it!
better yet, Fifi chasing Pepe chasing Penelope
My favorite is Wile E., and my favorite shorts are all the Chuck Jones Roadrunner ones. Amazing stuff.
The hunting trilogy is great too, and the Opera one (or is it two? are the barber and viking ones separate or a short each?)
>The Looney Tunes Show is not realistic!
60 episodes isnt a bad run but I wanted more
>That thumbnail where Dr. Hibbert's porkin' Marge is STILL up
>Menu consists primarily of burgers.
needs more SuperRabbit gifs
the show had nice animation when it wanted too, could never figure out which studios worked on the best animated episodes though.
In that shot he is. In this one he's right handed. Maybe he's ambidextrous? Or maybe the animators get lazy.
this is from a TLTS animator's blog, 'female incidentals'
Daffy the Wizard the cartoon:
>Daffy as the wizard
>Porky as either page or apprentice
>Lola is the bruiser with a giant hammer or maybe she's an archer
>Bugs is the travelling bard that shows up on occasion to make fun of them
>Tina is a wandering barwench, every time they go to a tavern, no matter where it is, Tina is there. She's always quitting or getting fired.
>Porky as Apprentice
>Pepe LePew as a romantic bard
>Penelope Pussycat as an archer girl
>Yosemite Sam as a dwarven warrior
>Witch Hazel as...well, a witch and rival to The Wizard
>Beaky Buzzard as the goofy sidekick to Hazel
I'd watch it
You'd watch it
Yosemite as a dwarven warrior makes more sense than Lola, she can be the archer (she has the ears for it).
Maybe Penelope can be a princess?
If Pepe is the bard then maybe Bugs can be some sort of dashing Robin Hood type outlaw. Barring that he could be a travelling troubador that likes to tell of Daffy and co's adventures but in a very unflattering fashion because he likes to mess with them.
Im not wanting to give you false hope but... how much passed between the last Duck Dodgers Looney Tunes was made and the First Episode of the Spin Off premiered
Sorry it took so long. Things kept getting the way.
Why do that when we got a great "Lola's mom" design in the very first Lola ep?
I get why it was done, stupid-assed nostalgiafaggotry for Space Jam.
Thing is, The Looney Tunes show has been canceled. When the Tunes show up again, they'll most likely be back to more traditional designs. If Lola's "new personality" sticks (and that's a BIG if) she'll be transplanted into something close to the old body design, simply because that's a better match for a traditional Bugs design.
Fuck, I wish. That was drawn by Bob Guthrie, who did drew that for that Space Jam theatrical poster.
It from parque warner bros madrid spain theme park.
They'll probably give her a less angular design, softer limbs, and maybe less humanoid in height and proportion by giving her a proportionally larger head in relation to her body to make her look more cartoony.
They can't make her as sexy as 90s Lola so why not go for a more cutesy look? A more rounded head and big round eyes as opposed to a more sultry expression. People will always miss 90s Lola but I think much of the backlash against the TLTS redesign is that people didn't think she looked as pretty in general, not just her no longer being overtly sexual. If she's cute, yeah she wont be sultry anymore but people might not complain so much if they think she's pretty enogh, albeit in a different manner.
Pic related. Its a cute bunny, they could aim for that particular sort of aesthetic appeal. Redesign Lola to be super kawaii.
Why does no one ever bring up that Bugs and Daffy are dating girls with their friends personality.
Bugs & Tina - Down to earth and sarcastic
Daffy & Lola - Erratic and Self Centered.
I likewise really enjoyed this show. I understand why people might be initially off put but I think many of those people didn't give it a chance. It isnt as if its existence destroyed every single pre 1970s Looney Tunes cartoon, they could rewatch those anytime. It was animated Seinfeld. I like Seinfeld. It was an oddly cozy show; I liked all the characters and wished them all happiness, even Daffy. Their interactions were fun and I enjoyed seeing them enjoying each other's company.
Its only super obvious
Don't feel too bad. The show made me ship Bugs and Daffy. There is no recovering.
>you will never be kissed by a beautiful female pig
I know fozzie doesn't have a thing for Miss. Piggy but I still found this funny and appropriate.
Well that's it for me I'm going to bed.
If this thread is still up I'll post more and maybe even draw some requests.
>Looney Tunes general is 90% about the Looney Tunes show
It's a good show and all, but show a little love for the way better shorts.
Best drag Bugs coming through.
It is like making a thread about music. Most people will talk about pop instead Opera.
Nigga, she a cartoon rabbit. Why you excited?
bullshit to that
i've watched pretty much every looney tunes short in existance including the ones that are in no collection or uploaded anywhere thanks to my awesome local channels
there's just nothing else to discuss at the point. The new show is recent and talking about where the franchise can go is much more fruitful.
Anymore drawing requests? I gotta go to work, but will draw if the thread is still up when I get back.
Man, she was a qt.
In true Looney Tunes fashion she should hold up a collection of legs.
