You have been warned. Leave Earth now

Also why is Numbuh 2 such a best?
Not for kid villains no. With the possible exception of the Delightfuls, kid villains were considered the worst of the worst, ruthless traitors looking out only for themselves.
In the hierarchy of the show, the danger/seriousness level was usually Toilet-nator<Goofy Adult Villains<Serious Adult Villains<Named Teens< Delightfuls<Kids working against kids in adultless conflicts<Father<Kid Traitors<Grandfather.
>mfw there are people who view this to be real and not just some gimmick
>mfw you get btfo during the big reveal
>People are having fun? I CAN'T HAVE THIS!
>I must post some green text pretending I am superior!
>planning an april fools joke this far ahead in advance
what would warburton even have to gain from that
other than people deeming him asshole of the year 2015?
why won't people see this for the prank that it so obviously is?
>it would be cruel
Because there is literally no point to this with kids next door.
Samurai Jack sure, Green Lantern way better but not a show e like KND which is like driven years old and had a conclusion. Especially since the site was advertised on Warburton's blog
If this ends up being a prank I'll become depressed as fuck.
It's as if the creator of one of my favorite shows would make me feel that nostalgic, innocent, childhood feeling I had once as a pure child just to crush it cruelly with no remorse later on.
But Mr. Warburton is not that kind of person. He would never do that to its loyal fanbase.
so hopefully this won't be a prank.
I could buy Jhonen pulling something like this, he pours tears of fandom frustration on his breakfast cereal every morning but Warburton? He's pretty much the most enthusiastic guy in animation, wears his heart on his sleeve.
Hell he's so excited about this thing he set up a way for people to see it even before the big announcement. This is a kid going 'LOOK AT THIS THING WE DID ISN'T IT AWESOME LOOK LOOK LOOK'
YER SCHEDOOLED FER EMMEEDIET DECOMMISSIONIN'
Have some fanart from a couple of threads ago.
I wonder if there's more.
>There are people here that don't ship 86/362
>Not liking the idea of a bi 86 and 362
Fresh from numbuh vine's
whay does it mean?
i don't like it, these charecters where always straight and never implied anything past being BFF's which a lot of dorks seem to assume is lesbian
it's what happened with Korra which sparked Korrasami, and then sparked that horid ending and that "let's make the entire cast secretly gay all along haha"
>It's a movie
>Results in new series "Teens next door" with the old cast as teenagers apart from the youngins
>Show becomes like Assassin's creed, where we see that neither side is ever entirely right
This isn't Deepest Lore so much as Consequences guys. It's not like they planned this out in advance, this is just them going 'If adulthood is a disease, and earth has more than succumbed, why wouldn't they cleanse it?'
In operation T.R.E.A.T.Y., it's revealed that the splinter cell they built up for several episodes was seemingly a hoax to hide the Galactic Kids Next Door from the Earth division of operatives. However, what if there IS a splinter cell, and it turns out to be the entire earth division of KND? They're the splinter group who doesn't unanimously hate all adults like the GKND?
What do you guys think?
I'm sure it's decompast.
Here me out. I looked up compast and according to Collins Dictionaries, 'compast' is an archaic word for rounded.
Obviously, 'de' is a separation or removal.
So something from Saturn is being 'decompast'ed. Removing something that's rounded.
Whatever it is, it's a big one.
KND stop evil adults, GKND wana stop adulthood which is a disease or not depends on your theory
show seems like it will continue that, numbuh one had blown up the earth or something and Lizzie was an alien all along
possible Numbuh Vineit's not know whether she harbored feelings or not
there was 7 generations of the KND, the one from the show was 7th it seems which started with Numbuh One's dad Monty
Father was Monty's bro and One's uncle
Better yet, there's a secret part of the KND that knew of the GKND's "cleansing", so they bided their time until an earth operative was accepted. Now, they have to get Nigel as an agent on the inside and war ensues, with adults, teens, and kids all working together to fight ayylmaos.
>numbuh one had blown up the earth or something
Obviously that's too dark for KND. The website says that Earth is scheduled for "planetary decommissioning". Obviously hat means the GKND are going to turn all adults into kids.
Holy shit that gives me an episode idea.
>KND get turned into adults
>Their parents get turned into kids
>Parents must now fight Adults Next Door
>didn't see the show in 5 years or something
>didn't even see a series finale yet
>were watching it in horrible local dubbing
>this amazing news
Alright I think I finally have a reason to properly rewatch all the episodes.
>yfw you always thought that KND was written by Patrick Warburton and always wondered why he never voiced anyone in his own show
I can't be the only one who thought this
It actually might be ambiguous on purpose.
Decommissioning always meant 'Leaving/Being Forced to leave the KND' in exact terms, with the connotation of having your memory removed because that's the most intimidating part of the process.
But nothing about the scene from the video implies it's something as harmless as a memory wipe. Chad is flipping the fuck out, screaming about his family.
They're giving up on Earth, as shown in the teaser.
So, they're cutting Earth out.
KND technology can be used to traverse the galaxy. If they have the "disease" (if it is one), then they could spread it.
So the Earth KND needs to be destroyed.
>KND was one of CN's most popular shows back when it aired along with Billy and Mandy
>ran for 6 whole seasons and had a television movie
>had a series finale that capped it all off while leaving the door open for more
>CN is interested in rebooting their popular series like Powerpuff Girls
>Mr. Warburton has mentioned on a few occasions of bringing back KND
>teaser site linked by Mr. Warburton himself
>video showcases the original voice-actors which was confirmed on Twitter
>people think it's an April Fools joke because of the date
Gee whiz anon you can't just append "Doug" to the end of things all willy nilly. You can get in a lot of trouble like that.
>yfw it's just an hour long web video of
The Delightful Children eating their birthday cake
>The website says that Earth is scheduled for "planetary decommissioning". Obviously hat means the GKND are going to turn all adults into kids.
It that's the case why is Chad so fervent about Nigel not doing it
it's just an hour long web video of The Delightful Children eating their birthday cake
Decommissioning literally means the exact opposite of what you're saying.
When a KND is decommissioned, their memories are wiped, making them a normal teen ready for adulthood.
Chad is way too hysterical for this to be a simple memory wipe.
So there's all this speculation, post what you WANT to happen
>Movie that starts off a new series
>Movie starts out with animatic completed
>Recollects the events of KND briefly
>Present (Right at the end of the animatic)
>Numbuhs 2-5 and 362 find out about the Galactic KND
>They go on a mission to bring One back
>One begins to question his choices as chad continuously berates him for whatever he's set into motion
>Numbuh becomes a prisoner
>Fight scene between Nigel and Ayy lizzao or that tree nerd fag
>KND ops come to rescue nigel
>They blow the ship and dip out
>Cue new series about fighting galactic KND, with adults being beastmen and KND being humans (or is it the other way around?)
>Nigel and Father teaming up in a Gurren Lagann mech
MY MINDS TELLIN ME NO
No one knows.
Some people think it's a joke since the timer ends on April First.
Although the show's conceptualization has been out since 2012 and it used the official voice actors so it seems too well-made and planed to be a 100% fake.
Only Ruse Bird will tell
Okay so rewatched the animatic again and >>70646710 left out the character for P which in >>70646636 is the first letter in the second line for Saturn. Also, the chart left out that there IS a tiny triangle next to the character for T.
Based on this, the words for Saturn is in fact DECOM PAST
It means that Earth is so fucked that it's going to affect even Uranus.
Probably that the missile or whatever it is that will hit Earth has already get past Saturn
Hoodie+Gendo Ikari visor+a little bit taller=skewed vision perspective
HQ itunes web-lds instead of disgusting tvrips for those who are gonna rewatch the series:
Im gonna find you and lick your asshole, thanks anon.
>GKND are just the puppet of a much stronger foe
>Adulthood isn't really a disease, it was a lie spread by this foe
>Numbuh 1 purges the earth, cool-wise i want it to be post apocalyptic
>Villains and Kids work together
>2/5 ship begans
>Father and One team up
>TTGL like animation for 3 on the robot rabbit
>Grandfather to come back
>DCFDTL to have more going for them
I'm using this downloader cause I'm out of RAM for downloading anything bigger than 50 MB from mega.
http://megadownloaderapp.b l g s t.com.es/2013/01/download-links-english.html
Those are gross 10 years old analog tv rips.
Unfortunately, there's this.
It'd be difficult if the Delightfuls accidently discovered anything that might make them want to Delightfulize galaxies,so it's highly likly they were put back in containment on Earth.
Also, I mean, I was a Matrix nut back then so I had seen The Second Renaissance, but honestly how many kids had even seen that to even get the joke? It was such a perfect parody but its one of those things that only the periphery audience would get
I still don't get it
Wasn't the ending to the movie that Galactic KND was a ruse to trick their interviewers into thinking Numbuh 1 was gone?
No, they were actually real (that's why Numbuh 5 says welcome back) There was a ruse involved we just don't know what it really was
Uh, they never said that in the show dude
>(that's why Numbuh 5 says welcome back)
All we know is that Nigel apparently went missing or into hiding after straight-murdering Father's adopted children.
The interviews were an attempt at finding Nigel so Father could exact revenge.
The decommissioned KND fed him a story about the Galactic KND, meaning father would leave earth and search space for Nigel, allowing him to return to active duty/leave hiding.
Unless there was actual mention of the galactic KND outside operation interviews this doesn't make sense.
My nigga! I thought you guys hated ZB. Well /a/ sure does anyway.
But this preview shows that the entire GKND was a real thing, whilst the episodes that foreshadowed the GKND before INTERVIEWS weren't part of the story told to Father at all.
I think INTERVIEWS is being retconned to a degree, and it'll just pick up from a while after the original series left off. So whilst the story they told is still true, what happens afterwards, like Father being completely in the dark for decades, is being changed.
Mention Zatch Bell in Toonami General this Saturday and you'll see that a lot of people love Zatch Bell. I don't browse /a/ but if the sentiment about it is actually mostly negative over there then fuck those guys.
I never heard much about /a/ hating Gurren Lagann. I suppose there's probably a sentiment of casuals loving it and praising it as the best anime of all time with no peers having never watched other mecha anime in their lives.
KLK I don't think has overly negative reception either, but more so than GL, and it has the same problem as GL on top of not quite being as good as GL among other things.
/a/ cares about entertainment value, not objective quality.
We watch anime year round, from one season to another. We don't just watch the best of the best, because then we'd probably only watch one show a year.
KLK was an entertaining watch when it was airing. And that's all it needed to be.
You think they'd make a KLK inspired villain? Maybe make him a Barber that takes insidious joy in cutting kid's hair and making it too short.
But it's gotta be a man wearing the pseudo-senketsu suit. It's the only way the joke would be funny while sticking with the comedic tone of the universe.
Actually, it's /m/ that really hates on TTGL
I'm actually surprised this was never already done in the show. There's gotta be a bazillioin ways to get Numbuh 4 possessed by something like a Rainbow Monkey ghost and then it fights for him
Numbuh 2 had a jet transformed into a GERWALK-like mode just like a Valkyrie from Macross in the tag episode. It only appeared for a few seconds and wasn't named but fuck if wasn't one of the most memorable things he flew for me.
Probably because I'm a huge Macrossfag.
>KND go to investigate teenagers driving up a mountain believing there's a factory that'll turn teens into adults.
>Suspicion based on overhearing teens talking about going with their dates to the point and coming back as "an adult."
Used to think it was only just making out but now the full severity of what they were actually talking about has now just hit me re-watching it.
and then kid Char comes to wreck the KND space fleet
Turned out to just be a rollerskating ring. Still though:
>Random Teen: "Yeah, what did you think a bunch of teenagers would be doing up on a mountain at night."
I want to believe this is all real, but that fucking date.
I've never watched the last episode/movie. Anyone got a link?
>watched faithfully for its entire run
>never watched after the episode where the alien kids use boogers to teleport away
I also never watched the last episode of Yu Yu hakusho and Underfist. Oh and Chowder
shame we never got a metal gear cameo
>tfw they drop tons of old show references
I swear to god if I don't see Grim's Scythe lying around I'll be pissed
Toonami coming back. Started off as an April fool's joke with the original voice actors of TOM and SARAH coming back for that one airing, as well as CN rebuying the rights to run the episodes they ran (I think, since nick owed DBZ ever since CN finished with it right?)
But then so many people liked it that it returned and here we are
I think a lot of those shows airing were favors. Nick definitely still had DBZ air rights when it aired on Toonami but Funi let them air it for one night only. Not sure about the others.
I really really hope this isn't a prank. Considering they got all the VAs back and apparently a lot of the original show staff (with new people too) if those passwords are real, I really find it hard to believe it's a simple prank.
I was implying he shipped them before they were officially canonically together, hence me using the past tense, shipped, and in a previous post, supported, rather than using present tense (ship or support)
>dating disgusting shit skinned gorillas that cant survive outside of Africa without shooting someone or committing some other kind of heinous act
You have good taste anon
Knd is his child. He continues to post stuff about knd and never grew out of it. His story is getting to be greenlit shows his struggles. The origin of the show came from a pilot he loved, for to be shot down and reborn into a better cartoon. I can't see him doing a prank like this at the expense of knd and his fans.
>no one in the entire KND organization liked broccoli not even Father
This always bothered me in the I.T. episode, especially since broccoli is my favorite vegetables.
What is it with you kids n' the thinkin' this ain't nothin'. You been too occupied with the JOKES n' th' April FOOLS an' th' AWWWW, you know what I'm talkin' bout.
>Unless there was actual mention of the galactic KND
T.R.E.A.T.Y. heavily implies their existence.
>Infinity with his scifi walking and booger teleportation
>"they" picked Numbuh 1 over 274
>there are those higher up than 362 that even she doesn't know about
If ever a series will indeed come, then this character will be made to magically disappear...
due to current sensibilities concerning who this character is supposed to be portraying.
I'm surprised that no one's discussed the actual best girl yet.
I decided up upload all those to a torrent for the convenience to the masses:
Help the fight against adult tyranny, seed this torrent!
I'm not entirely sure if I set everything up correctly, so I don't can't tell if I'm properly uploading it without someone testing it.
>The interviews were an attempt at finding Nigel so Father could exact revenge.
Actually, Father, who is actually Nigel's uncle, wanted his pipe back after Numbuh 1 took it for the scavenger hunt.
The other KND tricked Father into going to space, unaware that Nigel was on his way back to Earth.
People probably think this isn't real due to trade magazines not posting anything about it/not appearing in Cartoon Network upfronts but they have an excuse, they don't want this hogging the attention
You are aware there is a fountain of youth. All it would take is the adults drinking it to turn back into Operatives. Heck for all we know Father hit them with a ageinator right after the events of interview. Actually there are a lot of ways to de-ageinate someone. The fact that the KND do not use them for a permanent team is strange.
is 4 /a/utistic?
This feels like a countdown to a Kickstarter announcement rather than an actual show.
There was an episode called Codename C.O.L.L.E.G.E, it had Nigel going to a college to investigate a 10 yr old getting accepted but ends up trying out snow cones for Professor XXXL instead before the rest of KND tries to "save" him
Yeah, I think the March 31/April 1 timer was meant to show the video at the end, but a quick look at the site's code led them right to the URL of the video file on the site
They may have, but maybe warburton has more hype in store for us that isn't anywhere accessible until the 1st.
This kinda stuff happens a lot with ARG-type events, right? People get really interested and take apart whatever they can find.
Yup, I had figured I fucked up somehow.
New (working) torrent:
The Delightful Children shaved it off.
In the last episode of the series though, they still showed Nigel bald when he was in the CND, so it was either retconned to him always being bald or it happened before he he tried to join the KND.
Quick /co/! the last 2 digits of your reply is your numbuh.
dubs make you the sector leader and trips Supreme Leader
I'm a lose cannon I don't work with partners.
>mfw it is a prank
>mfw the prank is on the non-believers
>mfw BTFO by epic delivery
Also, we can all agree that Fanny is best girl, right?
Sure. Why the hell not.
[insert incoherent Scottish profanities here]
Its like niggers and watermelons, or Jocks being dumb assholes, or Lions being good, kind leaders, stuff people learn from television that is wrong but they don't care about trying to change
Ah quit yer cryin and take it like a real boy would, ya useless idiot!
Think of a number between 1 and 5.
1 and 5.
1 and 5.
Do you have it? You have to move in with that operative while sector v trains you to join the KND as part of some special program. How is it?
Numbuh 3 is the one doing the mission, after something happened to her stuffed animals. Numbuh 5 is mature enough to know what a bra is for, she probably knows what adult toys are for. 5 finds out about the mission, rushes to check on 3 3 is just sitting around, trying to have tea with them, but they keep moving around cause they're vibrating
I just re-uploaded the clips I had previously uploaded to youtube using those better quality itunes rips.
Would still like suggestions as to what other clips from the show to upload.
I'll totally fucking draw this. Its just too funny to pass up.
Man. If a bump limit KND thread isn't proof that /co/ is filled to the brim with underageb&, I don't know what is. Don't get me wrong, I liked KND well enough (in part because I was a fan of a webcomic done by one of the storyboard artists, and she sent me a doodle and a bunch of free stickers at one point), but I was a dweeby teenager and no one else my age did. The only way I can fathom this much excitement over a reboot is that everyone who posts was in elementary school when it came out.
I have no idea what I was thinking before, I had way too many peers I was seeding to. I've significantly reduced that in order to speed up the whole process, as long as the people who do get the files seed, that is.
Let's all have a moment of silence for the greatest member of the Kids Next Door
