The words of Mr. Warburton:
GALACTIC KIDS NEXT DOOR RULES!
ninjas hiding in your attic
It was never a
It was a
we knew were out there.
Biding their time
And you came running.
(no matter how old you are now)
We're sorry we didn't have
sooper exciting news.
Things didn't go exactly as planned
<cough> leaked video <cough>
and the hype train
kinda rode off the rails.
But that was totally part of the fun,
It's a great story how this all went down.
And after things settle down a bit
I'll tell you how it happened.
But what should
we do in the meantime?
Tell everyone about the
That's what we're doing.
And who knows
Here's to all the KND
That anon was speaking theoretically.
Yet, regardless, a mini series is plausible and reasonable, instead of per se a five season series. It'll surprise me if Mr. Warburton had that much story to tell for a five season G:KND.
this cartoon always sucked. hope it doesnt get revived so i dont have to switch to the foodnetwork every time its on again #kittyboboshow nickelodeon aired something equally as shitty always at the same time so you know how it worked. infomercials at night court shows all at the same time on each station crap on its appointed schedule
>this cartoon always sucked
Seconded, premise is retarded don't like it.
But you guys can go ahead and enjoy just don't fag it up and become another shitty fucking fandom circle-jerk general like sug, gfg or swg.
Or do, not like I can do anything about.
Just saying it would be faggy if you did.
Isn't it great how the threads are back to being slow again like they were when all this started
I think he means Star Wars
Why do I never get tired of hearing Numbuh 3 swear? It's so unexpected.
It does sound a bit like that, but it is missing a bit of the squeakiness from 3's voice. Also because Lizzie seemed kinda pissed that her disguise thing stopped working, so it would make sense for her to swear.
Yeah, but the 'holy fuck' sounds more like something someone would say in surprise, whoever said it seemed to emphasize surprise instead of being disappointed or angry about the disguise acting up.
Kuki's seen some shit before (specifically the episode where she met the giant Rainbow Monkey floating in the rings of Saturn) and came out of it fine, so it might not have surprised her that badly, plus Wallaby doesn't have a freakout either, he just makes a comment on her appearance.
In context, it probably makes more sense that 3 is the one saying holy <whatever> but I'm hearing Lizzie's voice, so... whatever, it was funny and we're working towards getting GKND, so that's all that matters.
I know that we needed the second thing with wally and kuki to show their voice actors were still on board but I wish hoagie had been with them when lizzie was revealed so we could have gotten some good plant puns. Also re watching yh series and numbuh moron must really be an idiot because lizzies disguise stood up to being electrocuted from having bad soup spilled onto a boyfriend helmet on her
I was hype as fuck. Literally more hype than when he posted that popcorn picture at 11:30 the day before Vine posted the second video.
Unfortunately, the day soon began to go south, but at least it started on a very high note.
Also 8.8k on the petition.
Let's continue to make the push. If we reach 10,000 we may be more noticeable.
Also, next thread, can we make sure to include "Galactic: Kids Next Door" in the title so that more people will notice the thread?
Mirthful. Throughout the day of April 1st; I remuniated that Mr. Warburton was being intentionally elusive, like a child who stole cookies from the cookie jar and hurry to his room and pretend to be asleep to avoid the consequences. As the day grew old, I thought 'Fucking hell, perhaps, the other anons who were skeptical was right and this was an April Fool's Day prank' yet I annihilated that thought quickly as I contemplated it, as I knew he put in effort, reuninted the old cast and all for it not to be a prank.
And then yesterday morning as I awoke, I checked the old thread and there was a link to Mr. Warburton Blog, I clicked the link read Mr. Warburton words and simply felt mirthful.
All I can think of know is how to make G:KND exist.
Maybe we should let this read reach Page 10 and start a new thread then so that we can get the ball rolling ASAP.
We need to make sure to include Galactic: Kids Next Door in the title then.
We need to spread the word, any way possible. Maybe submit the video to /r/videos on Reddit and get people here to upvote it.
If we could contact any news website(that would actually put up an article about something like this) and get them to write an article or something, that'd be great
We just need to spread the word.
My theory is the VAs convinced Mr. Warburton that G:KND has potential as a series and they wouldn't mind reprising their retrospective roles again and Mr. Warburton created the second video because they all was onboard with his ideas.
Actually the more likely answer was that the video with nimbuh one was to be shown on April 1st. However someone leaked it and as such a second video was quickly created. This explains why the animation is choppier in the second video, and why voice actors for Lizzie, numbuh 3 and 4 were listed as "Emergency Recomission"
Voice acting/etc is honestly the least time consuming part of projects like this. Especially if they know what they're doing. It could be as short as 1-2 weeks maybe even 3-4 days assuming everything is ready for them.
Just that I was thinking back to that picture of all of them in the studio posing, and wondering "wait, they wouldn't really drag Cree Summers out to record one line of dialogue would they?". So surely they must already have some dialogue for the final product pre-recorded, unless they plan on doing more promo videos to support the greenlight.
Two/Three months? (they could've already made a script/storyboard/voice recording of it and all CN would need to do is send it to Korea to be animated)
CN wouldn't have the sheckels to make it in their studios (just like Over The Garden Wall)
Most traditionally drawn western animation is outsourced to South Korea
