>How are Gems Made?
>Back to the Barn (October 8th, 2015)
Steven and the Gems go work on building robots in Greg's family barn.
>Too Far (October 15th, 2015)
Amethyst and Steven get into gossip.
Wake up one day and you see this in your bedroom.
What do you do?
>You've been giving me funny looks since you arrived here Anon.
>Is there something you need to tell me?
6th for square mom gem best gem
Been feeling kinda down today... Give me quick sketchy requests.
So will we be lucky to get another spooky episode in October?
I mean gem mutants are starting to lose their scariness (IM LOOKIN AT YOU, FOOTGUY)
so we need a new threat or Jasper to somehow get free and gonafter the gems I Know What You Did Last Summer style
So what can you say of this:
Steven starts handing out "Humans and Gems should love and care for each other" shirts to help promote human-gem relations.
But skeptical humans and cautious gems are a bit, judgy about it.
fuck dewey senseless and ask pearl if she can send peridot over
>Do you actually love Steven or is he just a replacement for Rose to you?
I have what I need. That's all that matters.
I finally got around to watching this so I drew a gemlet.
I want Jasper and bara Steven to go out on a date.
So is this show the JoJo of lesbianism? SU seems like the essence of feminity rolled up into a lesbian exterior in the same way JoJo is the essence of masculinity rolled up into homoeroticism.
Any of the Gems doing a Bowie cover, EXCEPT Aladdin Sane. That's been done to death; I'd like to see Garnet doing Heroes.
I think she was more figuring that he was made there since he's obviously still young and the gems have been living on Earth. I wouldn't be surprised if Peri could just recognize his gem.
By the way, there are races of gems aren't there? What do you call a pearl if there's more than one in the area? Pearl 1 and Pearl 2?
well being raised by woman can have that affect on you m8. I was raised with a single mother and 4 older sisters. I'm still straight but I know a lot about make up, woman's fashion, and how to be passive aggressive as fuck. The whole shitstorm about him in a dress is just anon's over reacting to simple childish things that I know a lot of kids did back in the day.
So in Barn Mates, I'm guessing Steven has to help Peridot get along with Jasper, Lapis, or Centipeetle. "Steven helps two friends get along at the barn." They used the term 'friend' to not spoil Peridot, so I guess another gem shows up.
Hooray for Lapis!
2 Days 17 Hours 47 Minutes
You are interpreting her incorrectly. She assumed he emerged on Earth because he was a gem that obviously didn't have an ounce of Homeworld demeanor and she surmised he was a quartz from his gem and powers.
>They used the term 'friend' to not spoil Peridot, so I guess another gem shows up.
That's a pretty far (and kinda stupid) guess when we have already seen Pearl in the promos, anon.
And if it weren't to be Pearl I don't understand how you concluded that any of the ones you said would fit at all. Like seriously.
got a couple more edits done tonight. One relevant to that post. Don't feel like finding the original post this time though since it was a few threads ago.
and the other.
Oddly fitting since Peridot's kinda killed the "calm slice of life" human stuff for a while.
>The Gems, Steven and Greg go on a roadtrip to different states
>They also go to Los Angeles
>Pearl freaks out and says no-dont-go-to-LA
>Pearl explains its full of dangerous criminals, psychopaths, and psychotic celebrities
>Pearl keeps emphasizing about how LA is filled with lots of mute criminals who rob banks, kill people (occasionally each other), and so happen to bathe in opulence and enjoy high end luxury shit
>And Pearl also fears they'll bump to a dangerous street hustling black guy, a bank robber who likes making pretentious quotes and a meth head arms dealer.
>Steven/or anyone else tells Pearl to calm down 'cause what Pearl's saying is just from a videogame
Can some drawer or editor do this with Lapis? thanx
>Steven and the gang go camping
>sitting around, fishing, watching a shooting star
>scary stories by the campfire
>during the night they see a monster roaming around the campsite
turns out to just be amythest pulling a fast one on them
suddenly monsters everywhere as it turns out someone somehow got into the temple and unpopped TONS of corrupt gems
a homework Pearl sent to earth (her ship being that shooting star from earlier)
Reminder that Pearl will end up alone
Your next line is
I'll destroy you crystal clods
>in my Steven episode
Has anyone drawn Bad Pearl with a Nirvana shirt? Because her shirt looks almost exactly like it.
>she will never grind her flat, marble ass against your crotch.
I'll destroy you crystal cl-
To anyone here who's pro-pewey, or ships pewey. What if Mayor Dewey has political rivals/enemies and they know he and Pearl are dating, they mistake Pearl as a young woman who's 18, 19 or early twenties. And Dewey's political rivals and enemies make fun of him or even insult him for being with younger women and possible having a mid-life crisis.
"Vote for me, and I assure you all. Beach City will become a big and successful metropolitan ares; an actual city! Unlike good 'ol William Dewey who does doe much 'cause apparently, he's to busy being with younger women so that he can compensate for certain losses, hahaha!"
What the fuck is the Red Eye even supposed to be? A homeworld weapon or?
Pearl held both of Steven's hands at once with interlocking fingers.
hell yeah i am
also is anyone running against dewey?
Which 'verse goes into which for the crossover?
>R&M go into SU
>11 minute episode
>extremely neutered Rick because he's in a universe where his general behavior is denied by "mysterious higher powers"
>CG's treat him as a threat just like they did Uncle Grandpa
>heartwarming life lesson from Steven
>Morty is touched
or the other way
>SU enters the R&M verse
>Adult Swim 30 minute episode
>Rick has sex with a gem
>Steven's innocence is shattered, hilariously
>Morty has to crossdress with Steven. It's not as innocent as Sadie's Song.
>heartwarming life lesson from Steven
>Morty is touched. Physically and metaphorically.
>Rick belches, tells
Opalto call him
If it happened at all, Rick and Morty go to SU for an 11 minute episode. As funny as it'd be the other way they'd never allow a kid's show character to be in an adult situation.
I really hope it happens btw, as unlikely as it would be
Steven what have I told you about watching that grotesquely animated cartoon?!
As if Peridot could ever outsmart me anyway...
>"Rose Quartz, I'm here to offer a temporary alliance"
>"H-hello Jasper... I wasn't expecting to see you here... Wait! what happened to Lapis?"
>"Oh we unfused for an instant and I beat her to death...
>you'll never run against Dewey in election for mayor
>you'll never run him out of town and put both him and his punk son on the street
Why even bother /sug/?
Bad Pearl in the prison next to Rick.
>/sug/ will never make a Homestuck styled fan comic
I literally heard of MSPA via /co/.
Don't give me that Tumblr shit.
I never looked into Homestuck I always saw the art and character design and was immediately repulsed. Of all the infinite designs one could have chosen along with the ease of modern technology why would the author chose that terrible fucking design?
It's Peridot and
Pearl. They're the only two who work with technology and somebody posted a (fake?) screen.
>Lapis in top tier comfy autumn fashion
And here I thought I'd never find another reason to love this season.
TY Lapisposter, you're far too good for this general.
I would love Rick and Morty to show up on Steven Universe but they'd never allow it. They'd be directly promoting a cartoon for adults to children. And they can't have it the other way cause they can't allow Steven to have bad stuff happen to him
At this point, if they do another crossover episode it'll most likely be with Adventure Time, Regular Show, We Bare Bears or something stupid like Clarence.
Post moments that made your jaw drop (literally or metaphorically)
T H R U S T
In the real world, Bismuth isn't usually found in naturally occurring crystals and is mostly produced as an industrial byproduct. Given that Peridot, Pearl, and Amethysts' geological origins were important to their characters, one could guess that Bismuth's origin is somehow related to this.
true that the artist takes way too much creative liberties but lapis is still cute tho
>Oh geez, it's this freaking universe Morty.
>Wh-wh-what do you mean this universe Rick? What's so wrong or bad about this dimension?
>Morty, this is a universe where there's no Christmas and there's space rock lesbians. That should be enough for you, Morty.
>What's wrong with space rock lesbians Rick? I mean they could be really really freakin' hot girl- Wait what? Why can't I say the F word?
>Oh yeah-yeah-yeah Morty, I forgot to tell you this but you can't curse in this universe too for some reason. Some weird power of censorship or some dumb poo-poo.
>Oh you got to be freakin kidding me!
>RICK LOOK OUT!
>Rick briskly avoids a corrupted gem bird flying overhead. They begin to run away at this point of time
>Oh yeah Morty, the space rock lesbians can also have this really weird process called corruption happen to them. It turns them into these-esesese [burp] weird creepy monsters that act on pure instinct, Morty!
>Morty looks back in fear to see the giant bird gem monster barf a fireball.
>Rick pulls out a weapon of some sort and throws it at the gem monster. The gem monster glitches up a bit and eventually poofs.
>Morty wipes his forehead in relief
>Thanks for killing that monster.
>Uhhh yeah, Morty, the monster isn't exactly dead yet.
>Calm yourself Morty, the little female dog might as well be dead since we took out it's physical form.
>Morty, rock lesbians have a physical form made from pure light that is given mass. When that form gets too damaged or some other dumb poo-poo, they retreat back into the little dumb small square of theirs until they can make a new form. You can prevent rock lesbian from making a new form by containing it in a small place like a bubble or a box or something. It can also be used to power stuff, Morty. Like you could like power your computer, your car or a television. Morty, this gem could do good stuff for us.
>Where-where can we get more of these rock lesbians, Rick?
To be Continued
I hope all amyfag felt bad for this and didnt even try to defend this
Peridot stepping out into the rain. It was just done so beautifully, and every single frame of it worked into her character. Catching a bit of it on her finger, recoiling in fear, then examining it analytically was all a very Peridot thing to do, but after, when she actually decided to face the new thing head on and just step into the rain. Because that was probably the first time Peridot ever did anything because of a friend, since she doesn't seem to have had anyone she trusted before. And that was the moment that Peridot started to Believe in Steven.
That was the moment when P
amyshit in Maximum Capasity
I think the scene from Maximum Capacity pretty much takes the cake as far as most people are concerned. I mean fuck, that scene begs so many questions. Did Greg and Amethyst fuck, or at the very least fool around after Rose became Steven? Does Amethyst secretly hate Greg for what he did? Or heck does she secretly like him, as the ending suggests
I mean I felt more emotions during like, Rose's Scabbard for example. But that was the one moment that really shocked me more than any other
Hell, the first time he actually used his shield properly was great
>get around to watching We Need to Talk
>"These last few months have been great..."
>really blind to a lot of SU goings on,
>watched the show because it was on while I was free in College
>see promo for Steven Bomb
>all the buildup to invasion
>Garnet gets poofed
>Garnet is fusion
>actually shouted out loud
probably perfect storm of not being to into the show that allowed me not to be spoiled by intensive theories, but being just enough into the show to be shocked by the revelation.
Course now I do nothing but shitpost about gems on an anime image board, so now I'm obsessed.
You know, I marathoned the whole series a few weeks ago for the first time, and I felt dumb as fuck for not realizing Garnet was a fusion earlier. Heck the very fact that she has two gems shoulda tipped me off but I never even thought about it till it happened.
>Greg was able to please a thousands-year old war goddess who had slept with the greatest men throughout history
>enough that she married him and had his kid
What the fuck was Greg's deal
The crew denies that Greg/Amy had any sexual relations. What's more important in that scene was that Amy was willing to use Rose's form to torment Greg, and that Steven was there to witness that. How horrifying.
Also did Maximum Capacity air before or after Lion 3?
The thing that makes John Cena memeworthy is the potential for bait-and-switch. The best memes are all built around this, especially especially Rockrolling and Dick Butt.
All he wants to do is a giant woman.
>Oh, a 50s sitcom dream
>Well if it's filler it might as well be cute filler
>Ok, wonder how 50s connie will loo-
All the choreographing/music in the fight scene was freaking cool. Why is that blocking the water ball disappated the clones, though? Was it a shield vibration thing, or was it just Lapis deciding to hear him out?
Lion 3 aired first. Yeah I kind of imagined that they never ACTUALLY fucked but I get that strong vibe they may have fooled around in a moment of weakness or something, that's all.
But I agree with you, the messed up part is that Steven saw what he saw. My question is, since he made that comment about the cat and all, does it really imply that Steven didn't quite understand what he was witnessing?
I wonder what happens after the confrontation with Yellow Diamond. I mean, if they poof her and hold her captive, Homeworld has no reason not to just come fuck shit up. And all they have now besides the original team, is Peridot, and MAYBE Lapis.
Well, if the DBZ parallels continue and Yellow Diamond is Freiza, we'll have to deal with some androids for a while, but after that we'll run into a sentient Fusion Experiment who was made from shards of Yellow Diamond, a Garnet, and Rose Quartz. Rather than Cell, she can be called Shard.
If Amethyst is Joseph Joestar
>Steven bribes a black authority figure with a large watermelon
How did Sucrose get away with that?
No, if you listen to what he says when he finds them together, the things he's saying could either apply to their relationship or to the mess
I think it's implying that Steven didn't know what he was seeing exactly, they took his comments to mean themselves, and Amethyst took off running and crying when she realized that Steven wasn't even blaming her for what she just did
Or maybe I read way WAY too much into it
I do accept that he was just being tactful, that's certainly a possibility
>Peridot stops Connie and Steven right before they kiss.
>Garnet gives her a long talk about personal space and why Steven needs to be alone sometimes.
>"And I swear to Gemsus, if you ruin Steven and Connies relationship, I will end you."
>There's some gems we can acquire along the coast Morty. But these rock lesbians are pretty powerful Morty. Don't be surprised if you like lose few limbs or so.
>Wait-wait, WHAT? I'm not risking an arm for that!
>Well-well too bad. Cause this car could use a little upgrade sometime soon.
>Rick, how come you can't go on your own and do this on your own. Why do you have to take me along.
>Well you said you wanted to come along, you little female dog. So you're coming along.
>What the heck Rick!
>Rick Puts Morty in a backpack and carries him towards the beach.
>What a dump this poopy place is, geez.
>Pan over Beach City road with Rick walking down the middle of it. Ronaldo is ranting about the diamond authority and handing out flyers. Sour Cream raving in an alleyway and Buck Dewey walking down the sidewalk.
>Morty is still in Rick's backpack with an quite the unhappy look on his face.
>Alright Morty, we're getting close. Ju-usuust a little bit down the way here aaaaaand there it is! Hohoho!
>That little kid is a monster, Rick?
>Wait a minute, what the heck. Uuugh, they must not be here anymore. Oh well, maybe we can loot that kids house for some stuff.
>Rick, you know that's a butthole thing to do.
>Shut the freak up, Morty. I do what I want.
>mumbling from rick about how the censorship is beginning to get on his nerves
>Steven is inattentive and notice Rick walking past him.
>Rick kicks the door open and drops Morty out of the little backpack carry thing.
>Alright Morty, feel free to tread around some random kids house. You leave my sight and I'll kick your butt.
>Morty walks around the house and notices the warp pad in the room.
>Rick, you got any idea what that is?
>That weird crystal thing in the back?
>Oh, that's just a warp pad, Morty. It works similarly to my portal gun in that it can teleport gems across star systems in an instant. It only teleports to certain warp pads though, Morty.
>Steven walks inside the house and gasps.
I think someone mentioned this last thread (or maybe 2 threads ago?)
It's pretty obvious who Garnet would be.
Definitely maximum capacity
At first it's completely normal, then oh OK amethyst and Greg like the same show that's kind of cool wonder why they never hang out- oh they used to hang out- wait what was the prob- then Amethyst steps so far over the line she can't even see where it is anymore and unlike any of the other "big" episodes (pearl crying and being gay, garnet being two homos in a trench coat, Steven being his mother) you can't say this wasn't the most surprising or least expected. Once it starts happening it goes down hard and fast and you can't stop it it's here what are you going to do about it before it's even processed
Honestly I thought Greg was about to slap her shit before Steven piped up
That would actually be a funny end to that scene.
>"Hey Garnet thanks for helping me understand Steven a little bit better, I'll apologize to him next time I see him"
>"That's alright Peridot. Now you know. And now that you know..."
>Garnet pins Peridot against the wall and moves in close
>"You mess up that boy's friendship and I will end you"
>fucks a fat black guy so no one can call out your racism
>The crew denies that Greg/Amy had any sexual relations.
They denied they had any ROMANTIC relations.
>drop beat dad
>almost guaranteed a marty comeback episode with sour cream
That is a big difference. Like, kind of a huge one.
I still think that's what the episode is at least hinting at, but at the same time I could see it that way. Was probably something awkward said, or some angry words exchanged plus some uncomfortable shapeshifting that made them stop talking. She clearly at least partially blames Greg for Rose being gone
how long until Thursday holy fuck
I don't think they fooled around, just that they used to be friends and continued to hang out after Rose died but never really talked about what happened until Amethyst finally flipped out at Greg like she did in the episode. Mainly it got me because it was so genuinely, deeply mean and because it came with pretty much no buildup in a goofy episode about Greg and Amethyst watching a bad sitcom.
What I don't think they've ever really addressed (beyond this episode) is the fact that Greg also must miss Rose at least as much as the Crystal Gems but doesn't have anyone he can talk to about it due to them all blaming him for what happened on some level.
It was how quickly she changed to Rose, and then Greg covering his ears that fucked me up.
And now Amy has actually grown up some, which makes me pretty happy, especially for her.
>Stop it, Amethyst! You know I hate it when you shapeshift!
>Oh? You mean like... THIS
>HOW WOULD YOU KNOW? YOU NEVER EVEN MET HER!
