This game is fucking amazing.
I am still salty as fuck about the lack of content, but what little there is is so fucking beautiful and fun.
>me when I am flying a TIE
so who do you suppose the bounty hunter is?
Sabine's senpai/kouhai? A family member?
Do you think they ever made out?
The flight is surprisingly great, even in first person. Might be my favorite part of the game in fact.
>mfw you can actually spin
It's indeed, a good trick.
Nope? I've been posting it forever just fine, breaks no rules.
Clan Wren, House Visla.
We don't entirely know what this means, but it seems like Sabine comes from her parents Clan, united with other Clans under "House Visla", or something like that.
But it confirms that post-TCW, Mandalorian Clans now exist, and I am sure there are some less-than-friendly ones out there.
It at least confirms the connection to Death Watch
>I seek justice through single combat
Here's the NYCC Trailer in 1080p. No sound.
just search her name on the foundry
there is not near enough Sabine 34
so what do you think this button does
Holy fuck what happened here
Looks like the location of the Mandalorian outpost we saw in Son of Dathomir
>yfw The new Mandalorians are going to be a statement on EUfags
>yfw they mock Sabine and say she isn't a real Mando
>yfw she kicks their asses
>yfw Mandofags worldwide feel their anus's clench in unison
I have no idea if this is how it works with Mandos, but in the Scottish Clan system you have your main Clan families, but you also have smaller clans that fall under the purview of the larger Clans. These subsets are called septs. For example,
if I remember correctly,Clan McKay is a sept of Clan Davidson, and the McNiells are a sept of Clan Gunn. In an unrelated note, this is why the star of The Highlander says, "I am Connor McLeod of Clan McLeod." People act like it's redundant, but the last name isn't always the same as the main clan name. He just happens to be part of the main family.
Clan Wren could merely be a subset of Clan/House Vizsla.
>You have failed me for the last time Callus
>pic related happens
Callus comes back for the final battle and dies in a blaze of glory
Did anyone else notice the unique sound Ahsoka's new sabers made?
>not having watched the OT at least twice in anticipation for TFA
STAR WARS BABY
2015 YEAR OF THE STAR WARS
FUCKIN STAR WARS
>everything about Ahsoka have to be special snowflake?
>implying being Starkiller is bad
It's a dark side thing. Remember that Anakin's eyes turned the same yellow (though his had red rings around the outside) throughout the entire Mustafar sequence, as did Palpatine's whenever he was getting his fun on.
I know about the Dark side yellow iris thing it's just Dooku and Anakin had white in his eye rather than black which both inquisitors had. I guess it works differently on aliens
And on Mortis with Ahsoka as well.
I wonder why they never popped up on Ventress or Dooku.
Why do I find this hot?
He's overpowered. The way he "inspires" the Rebellion to form is retarded. He doesn't fit the timeline. He nearly defeats Vader and Palpatine, and only loses because Luke has to win in RotJ.
I could be much more thorough, but it's been explained hundreds of times.
>mfw /swg/ say Filoni should have directed the ST
wouldn't silver just be plain anyways? I mean I know colors and krystals and yadda yadda but in regards to light that just does't strike a very outlandish color
Sad times are ahead.
But, anon, don't you remember what happened the last time Filoni directed a Star Wars movie? Everyone seemed to have loved that!
Let's be honest. I don't think anyone expects Kanan to get out of this series alive.
Ashoha 100% chance of death
Kanan 100% chance of death
Hera 80% chance of death
Zebb 60-70% chance of death
Esra 40-50% chance of death
Sabine 30-40% chance of death
I wonder if Cassie would have more fanart if her episode wasn't so terrible
>somebody who directs animators and voice actors being able to immediately transition into directing humans on real sets
Combine that with the fact that he's a mouthbreathing fanboy and you have a formula for a fucking awful Star Wars film.
So, Lucas let Filoni's first foray into Star Wars turn into a theatrical movie? Why didn't Filoni stop him? Or tell him it was a bad idea? Was it another case of Lucas surrounding himself with "yes men"?
>mfw Disney got based JJ and Rian to direct the ST instead of letting Lucas and his fanboys and Yes man
ABSOLUTELY 100% BASED
You should do some research fam, Filoni is always talking in the TCW interviews about debating and challenging Lucas's ideas, such as the abilities of Plo Koons mask, and Ahsoka still being alive.
Not a "yes man" at all.
>mfw people here can't accept that Lucas is gone forever and the ST will be awesome thanks to that
Hayden will probably look like that in his 50s.
Possibly. Rig got plenty of commotion despite only appearing a little bit in a pretty good arc. Could still use some more promotions, but I'd at least like to see more of her lime-buttcheek species. Like a twilek and togruta screwed and had the cutest baby, seriously.
Aw yuss, sweet delicious Nema.
I've got the beta downloaded, but I can barely play any of the matches, Anytime I do a Hoth Battle I get kicked from the server. I managed to do one in the several hours I've played. Single player runs fine, and so does the Escape Pod run after a few mins.
Honestly, I thought it was the stupidest thing CW ever did. They should've just made Savage a better character and had him do what Maul did
She died in Dark Disciple bruh
>tfw Filoni's clone boner means we wont see any awesome Stormtrooper moments in Rebels
JJ master race
>I wonder why they never popped up on Ventress or Dooku.
Can't speak for Ventress, but as far as Dooku is concerned, it seems to be something that happens when you really let loose. Dooku seems the more composed, in-control, stiff-upper-lip, etc., type of Sith.
Also, I want to say his eyes go yellow at least once in Dark Disciple.
Well, that is the thing about Star Wars: SO MANY PEOPLE like it, you will never please everyone. At least half the people liked Maul coming back. The other half thought as you did.
It is impossible to please everyone with any Star Wars sequel or spin-off. There will always be legions of angered fans.
does a clone in stormtrooper armor count/spoiler]
It's not so much that I hate it or makes me angry but more of "what was the point of hyping Savage and being this Maul surrogate if you're going to bring back Maul anyways?"
Seemed very fan ficton-ny and it takes away from Obi Wan being the first Jedi Knight in defeating and killing a Sith lord since they disappeared
That's because you haven't seen Rebels. You didn't care for Ahsoka before watching TCW.
You need to watch the whole show before you can say whether or not you care for the characters
What even is her species? I know they drew her from this concept sketch of Mace Windu from before Phantom Menace, but I kind of want to see more of them.
Then don't waste your time with Rebels, she isn't going to be in it that much. But honestly people that only watch a show for the Waifubait are the worst.
Did you even watch all of the Clone Wars or just episodes with Ahsoka in it?
It's not about waifus. This anon got it right >>76482188
I just watched the recommended Clone episodes and loved the show in general, so I want to know what happened to the characters. I suppose I would get invested in Rebels if I gave it a watch too.
I'd say watch the whole series get to know the characters their relationships, then work your way up to The Lost Commanders, Relics of the Old Empire premiering next week on Oct 14 and 21.
>There's no way all of them are essential, Clone Wars was full of filler
Rebels and Clone Wars are two totally different animals, one has to deal with intergalactic warfare and the other is about a small group of people that want to stick a needle in the Empire's eye just to make ends meet, before becoming something greater.
Terrible? I liked it. It was a nice break from the war and taught some important, if touching lessons. That chase across the Coruscant skyline was well worth it for the audio engineering alone. Not to mention that badass moment when Tera disarms Cassie in an instant to triumphant music.
Played about an hour of the beta and it confirmed one thing to me
My PC is getting old
I hate to say it, but dodge roll was the source of a lot of balance problems in BF2.
You ever play the game recently?
It's 100% explosives now.
You either play rocket class or engie class with detpacks.
Shitty hit detection + hyper mobility=AOE is the only way to kill.
>ignoring the fact that a live action director has to be great with actors
>ignoring the fact that a director of a Star Wars movie needs to be very experienced to even be able to handle the huge stress of creating the most anticipated sequel since The Phantom Menace
>ignoring the fact that many people didn't like the prequels and that it would probably be a mistake to hire someone who couldn't distance himself from Lucas and the prequels enough
JJ Abrams may not be Spielberg or Scorsese, but he is a proven director, a friend of Kathleen Kennedy and a huge fan of ANH. I don't worry about his Episode VII, but I would definitely worry if it were directed by someone who had only directed two cartoons before.
It's not that bad to win as Rebels.
You just need Air superiority.
Snowspeeder tow cables really do work.
Also, the lack of anti-vehicle unlocks in the beta really hurts the Rebels too.
Rewatched it again, enjoyed it a lot more than I remembered. Great chase sequence and Sinube was a fun guest character.
But seriously, I think they gave Cassie the finest booty in the entire series. Even more plump than Ventress, 10/10 would chase across rooftops.
Does that mean no more Rebels on Family Channel, either?
There's a whole game for that Anon and it's better than you can imagine
Aye, fliying the Tin Coffins are rather satisfactory, but there's some spawns that aren't random.
For example, A-Wing deploy around the second or third part of the battle at the exit of one of the tunnels of the base, Interceptors the same nearby some trench. Snowspeeders gets deployed around the third part for what i have seen nearby the left comlink.
Chad would have been nice. He isn't a perfect match, but he captures the anger in Vader's voice perfectly.
I sort of wish he did Vader's voice in Rebels, because James Earl Jones sounds like he's about to fall asleep.
I don't have the previews like those but I have this
Best I could do for ahsoka was find the resin preliminary model:
Yeah, there's no way it's Ben. Doesn't look like him doesn't sound like him (it's fucking Clancy Brown, not JAT or anyone else who's voiced Ben in the past), and that environment is pretty clearly not Tatooine.
Here's the artist who did the sculpt for Hasbro
It's sounds like Liam O'Brien who voiced Morad Sumar and Supply Master Lyste in Fighter Flight.
Dave Filoni at the Disney XD press day last week.
>тАЬChopper gets his day. ThereтАЩs a massively huge Chopper episode. When I talk backstories this year, everybody gets it. You will find out where Hera found Chopper, why and how she rebuilds him. ItтАЩs actually really important тАж and he does get a friend this year.тАЭ
CHOPPER FALLS IN LOVE WITH THE BOUNTY HUNTER'S GONK DROID
and when that love gets ripped away, that's when chopper gets...hardcore.
I can't think of any other planet that fits that oultine, but my knowledge is particularly weak today.
If Rebels ends up going to Coruscant I'll be so happy. The planet's big enough that you could hide right under the Empire's nose, but if you made enough noise you'd be fucked.
>Clonebowl takes place in a Coruscant Star Destroyer drydock.
>Ahsoka living (Lucas wanted her to die)
Oh shit, look at the back of her helmet
We were told we'd be getting a ship of the same class as the Banshee, I wonder if this is it.
I just want to start by saying I'm bad at recapping
Ahsoka sends them to find Rex to help with setting up a rebel base, the Ghost's hyperdrive is broke again, Wolffe told the empire about them to protect his brothers he's quickly forgiven though, a probe droid breaks the Phantom so they're stuck on the planet while a storm approaches, a star destroyer comes and Kallus takes 3 AT-ATs down to attack them, Vader calls the star destoyer away to meet his shuttle, the clones steer they're tank into the storm, the take out the 3 AT-ATs, Kallus escapes on a speeder bike, the clones join the rebellion, Vader's shuttle had the new male Inquisitor
It was a good two episodes
take out the 3 AT-ATs, Kallus escapes on a speeder bike
Fuck, Kallus, you're pissing me off. I thought you would be better now after getting that lesson on Lothal. Obviously it didn't do shit.
Kallus is such a fucking idiot. When the star destroyer got there another dude said "We have their location, should we comence with orbital bombardment?" and Kallus "No, get ready for a ground assault."
Why? they know who the rebels are. At this point, keeping them alive only makes trouble for the Empire.
Kallus now just lost three AT-ATs and made the Empire look like a bunch of chumps, again.
>tfw slaughtering Rebels.
>Hoping to hear something badass like "Your death is inconsequential" or such from that game
>Only get crap like "NOTHING CAN STOP MY LIGHTSABER"
I have hope for an improvement for release though. Battlefield 3 and 4 had noticeable changes audio wise between their open tests and release so there's some chance.
They might not want all of them, but I think the Emperor and Vader have designs for Ahsoka. That would necessitate at least confirming she's not somewhere before they start bombarding.
If that's really the case than...I dunno man, shit's for kids I guess?
Filoni's a huge fan. Revan almost made it into the Mortis arc, but they felt that it stretched things out too much and dumped him.
I wouldn't be surprised if they managed to work in a reference somewhere.
Is there a mega link for Star wars the clone wars? Not seeing one in the OP
>Not having access to a netflix account.
When are we going to see some fucking Bothans?
Nigga, why are you so fucking salty about Filoni, we've known Filoni was a fan of Revan for a long time.
Are you Shit Wars guy?
I seen someone tried to make a Genndy Wars thread yesterday, and it didn't even get twenty posts before falling off /co/.
We don't know yet, we haven't seen them in action.
But something bad happens to one of them.
Judging by the trailers,an Arquitens.
>It got old, quick.
That's been a thing here since TCWs threads. If poor .moe wasn't dead we could check all the way back to the first instance.
That being said, showing annoyance at something on this site is a near guaranteed way of insuring it will keep happening. Just reply hide or use one of those nifty filters they've built into the site.
I hope not, it'd take bullshit of the highest order to survive THAT. >>76489017
I dunno man, if that thing sucked in a fucking Arquitens, I'm not sure a lifepod has a chance of escaping.
Were they always this dangerous in the EU? For some reason as a kid I always thought it was some kind of "fake" gravity well and didn't really suck in physical objects.
Project Harvester is still going, the trailer has them still snatching force strong kids.
I don't think it's just to make new Inquisitors, though. They sure as hell weren't training Dhara for that.
>I dunno man, if that thing sucked in a fucking Arquitens, I'm not sure a lifepod has a chance of escaping.
I don't know, I love the idea of the Empire being so lowest bid contractor they install escape pods as per regulations but didn't actually have any rules against connecting them to anything.
A fine tradition that goes all the way back to the Republic where there were incredibly strict rules about ordering safety rails for all walkways, but no rules about actually installing them.
Your galactic bureaucracy at work!
In a rare case of sanity or OSHA compliance, the Empire actually installed railings on the Arquiten's bridge.
Escape shuttles are totally fine though.
That's even better.
"Rules specifically state we need to install railings on any drop that of up to two feet. It doesn't, however, say up to two thousand feet so we'll just skip installing them in the engine room."
I have a feeling a squad of stormtroopers had to march into the bridge, physically pick a grimacing Tarkin up, and then carry him all the way back to the shuttle. And all the while he's just keeping completely straight, with his arms crossed and the most goddamn disappointed look on his face.
Afterwards he orders them all shot for treason.
Sheev actually insisted on that one personally. He's really not keen on the idea of plummeting to his death, so the rails are there for accidents and that 8-foot tall black guy is there in case someone tries to heave him over.
Well...yeah, Ventress could come back to life. It would be incredibly controversial but there's a number of factors involved that make it doable. Those factors are, in no particular order:
тАвVentress was last seen with her body deposited in the weird wacky waters of her witchy sisters
тАвstandard (by now) rule breaking witch fuckery
тАвpotential involvement by Katie Lucas who seems to be able to do whatever the fuck she wants (at least when her daddy was still in charge)
Methods of "survival" or resurrection could range from Ventress was only mostly dead beyond even the ability of the Jedi to detect (bullshit, sure, but ridiculously easy to imagine it happening). Or somehow the waters bring her back, something that's supposed to be impossible since Force Ghosts are supposed to be the only kind of "life" after death, but that would just be one more rule the witches break/ignore. Or Talzin sensed Ventress' death as part of her destiny so during her baptism the sisters exposed her to the same green crap that empowered Savage Opress, a concentrated dose of Living Force designed to keep her on the merest edge of life after Dooku fried her until the Jedi return her to the waters which, unknown to them, will finish restoring her to life.
Again all of that is bullshit, but sadly believable bullshit where the Nightsisters are concerned. That said I'd imagine Talzin would only do something like this if she wanted Ventress to live and rebuild the Nightsisters after everyone else thinks she and they are dead. I can't imagine Ventress surviving to dick around as a bounty hunter for fifteen years. That particular character is surely one of Sabine's family, most likely, or at least of her Clan or House Vizsla. Frankly I think it sounds like Katee Sackhoff's voice with heavy modulation.
>"C'mon Sir, we have to go."
>"But the ship is coming apart at the seams"
>"Not going, still my moment of triumph"
>'Shit, it's not working, time to use plan E'
>"Sir If we go, you can tell all my crewmates about Eriadu on the shuttle"
Several hours later, nearly all of the stormtroopers are ready to open up the shuttle doors. Space is a quick death, compared to this.
After learning of the Stormtrooper's mind-number sacrifice in willingly exposing themselves to Takin-Monogue to save him, they are given medals. Sadly, most were awarded posthumously.
So, you know how you worked your way through that Recommended Clone Wars episode list?
Rebels doesn't have that. It doesn't NEED that. Even it's weakest episodes are still entertaining and fun to watch.
>"You do not know what it takes to do a mad as Frontside Heelflip, but I do."
So I was watching the Mortis arc and a little piece of it got my attention in the first episode. The Father mentions how the Sith are one of many dangerous forces that would want to use the powers of the Chosen One for evil.
But the way he makes it sound is almost as if these other forces are equal to the Sith. Who are they though? The only one I can think of is the Son. The Nightsisters are another one but they seem pretty weak (despite of Talzin's powers)
Do you guys think TFA would link to this? Perhaps that's why the Knights of Ren want to possess items that belonged to Anakin/Vader
Unfortunately he suffered irreversible damage to his Gluteus Maximus preventing him from participating in the best skateboarder in the galaxy competition on Alderaan.
Why isn't there more of all three of them together?
Also why aren't Ahsoka, Barriss, and Riyo in a Totally Spies parody?
