Nobody did more of these than goonigoogoo. Goddamn I miss that webcomic.
Let's get a bit more...
...words are hard. Abstract? Representative? Reductive? Whatever, like this.
I found some old Lego castle sets when I was home one time and ended up doing this
And the award for best filename goes to...
I wish I'd been the one to come up with this name.
Yup. Something so colossally stupid is bound to be remembered for ages.
Good, but not knee deep in loss.
Loss is my favorite meme, since it's transcended into abstract in a way no other concept has.
>5th out of 6
>in building a giant fucking robot
A lot of it has to do with it being hated and made fun of long before /co/ or /v/ really caught on. Especially SA has a lot do with it.
We should have made fun of Sinfest, but that story is just too depressing.
>It's troll hunting time.
>the ideas department combines other people's ideas into one giant unoriginal idea
>the sounds and music uses rappers for their sonic voice weapon
>the sounds and music department isn't under the science and engineering
>they actually hired people to write "good luck" on the front of the unoriginalbot, not even all over the robot, just once on the chest piece
looks to be a parody of dominic deegan and how in that comic some dude raped his wife as part of some undercover schtick because otherwise his cover would be blown bc of marriage arrangements or some shit idk
You know, I was never really on the hate train for ZP. I thought spreading messages of general niceness was harmless at worst, even if he seemed a bit full of himself.
Then I saw this.
Fuck Zen Pencils, man.
Ctrl Alt Del is a really unfunny webcomic. The creator thought video game comics would be the perfect place for heavy drama, so he shoehorned in a terrible miscarriage arc. The rest is history.
Besides what >>76570028 said, the creator Tim Buckley was incredibly obnoxious and rude. There was also a really misguided post that accompanied the comic that had sentences like "A miscarriage is often much harder on the woman than the man" and "It doesn't turn you into a sack of tears".
That said, he does seem to have matured a little and actually worked on improving his art. Unlike other webcomic artists I can think of (like a certain blue bear).
This is based off a CAD strip where Ethan forced Lilah into signing a contract saying she had to have sex with him or cook him a meal or something every time she used a Phoenix Down because he knew it was going to eat up all of her time.
That's not even the worst of it.
Buckley based the miscarriage arc off of an actual miscarriage that occurred between him and an ex-girlfriend.
He wanted out of the relationship and he used his ex's miscarriage as an excuse to break up with her.
>what kinda of artistic mural shall I scrawl across the moon as the crescendo to my triumph over negativity to promote creativity and bolster the imagination of the world!?
>the word "art"
>also, fuck you, other languages
The fact that he's asked what's wrong with the doorway, and that the file name is ross adds to it, because in hungarian, if you say "ross" as you would reading it in english, it literally means "wrong/broken".
It's spelled rosz though.
Theres a story where holes in a cliff show up. They exert a strong magnatism towards people such that they feel that a particular hole is made for them. They stick themselves in, finding them stuck, only able to push themselves forward into it.
The holes open up on the other side of the cliff. The result is not pretty.
