Honestly, being /fit/ should take precedence over being /fa/ unless you're a hardcore fashunnut.
Most any look off the runway looks substantially better on a built frame. I dont care what you call built, but a V frame with strong arms and shoulders are necessity.

I have wide and fat legs which makes me look "half-fat". I pretty much lost hoping knowing that if I ever wanted to get fit, it would't be worth it because of my legs. It is because of this I have a hard time finding trousers that fit, let alone look good on me.

The whole point I posted in the first place was the concerns with my legs. My upper body is not fat. My lower body (ass, thighs, calves) is fat. This really affects my clothing style too.
You can clearly tell that my lower body is wider. I assumed you were talking about just generally losing leg fat.
