Is being skinny more attractive than being muscular? Told a few fashionable guys I was going to start going gym and was then told I shouldn't go it would ruin my look.

a lot of that is genetics, i.e. shoulder length compared to torso length, long arms, tapered waist, overall height, etc.
if you don't have the genetics no amount of body fat % will give you the same look

Just keep at it but try and implement different muscle groups - pull ups for back, military dumbell presses (if you have any) for shoulders, squats for legs etc. I would honestly recommend joining a gym and going from there, you can find relatively affordable gym prices if you sign up to an off-peak hour membership.
As for the cycling, I would advise you to look up high intensity interval training (HIIT) and add it to the end of every other workout - or dedicate a cardio day to it and also workout your core. It essentially means you exercise harder but require less time to do it. This method requires your bpm to be around 80% and burns fat quicker than the usual slow and steady method.
But above all I cannot extol the virtues of a good diet. They usually say diet and exercise is always a 50-50 split but I would personally say diet is 60 and exercise is 40. If you want to put on size, but make lean gains (i.e not bulking whilst keeping your body fat low) then try and reduce your carb content. Your protein consumption should be around your body weight in pounds, and always always always add some form of vegetable to your meals. Spinach, Kale, Broccoli etc are all superfoods and extremely good for making lean gains. You can entitle yourself to a 'cheat day' but I don't really see the point in it as you'd have to make up for it.
It's not easy to do all this, but you will reap the benefits so much more if you do. Find a routine and stick to it.

About my diet:
250g of quark (64kcal and 12g of protein per 100g), an apple or some other fruits and 50-60g of muesli
a small bretzel
same as breakfast but usually more quark
some pasta with a lot of vegetable sauce
same as breakfast most of the times
I barely eat any sweets at all tbh. Ive three shoe boxes full of sweets and nuts in my room but knowing their calorie content and sugar level they kind of disgust me.

You need to consider the quality of life that taking the path entails.
Simply being attractive is not enough to be happy.
Starving yourself and/or letting restriction be your basis of self-esteem is also not enough to be happy.
Exercising enjoyably and eating well is in itself probably not enough either, but it's not going to take over your life or destroy your body internally. You'll still have room in your brain for fun things/old hobbies at the very least.

Clothes still look great on you and you're not a massive tool, but if you ever take your shirt off people will be impressed

Just do compounds like deadlifts, squats, cleans, bench etc, but most importantly EAT. Doesn't matter if you can't finish that burger, FINISH IT, THEN HAVE ANOTHER. That is what you need to do. If you seriously have trouble eating, worst case scenario is use some mass gainer, might work for you, might not.

I was really fat, and I didn't really care. One day I went to the doctor and he spoke with me about my weight and my health. And that talk had an impact on me. Not instantly, but I started to work with my mind, to be more discipinated and to care about myself more than anything.
A few months later, 5 months to be precise, I started to go to the gym, without thinking about it, without planning it, one day, after school I just went and got in.
Since then I have lost around 30kg, have gained some muscle and improved my relationships.
Your mind health is basic! I tried to lose weight a lot of times, but this time is the one were things are really happening.
I've gained a lot of confidence, I started to talk to qts I've never thought of doing, I've made a lot of new friends.
