Does anyone else feel like
is actually worse, so much worse than the fedora in terms of obnoxious fashion trends? Have you ever seen someone wearing an ironic handlebar mustache that you didn't want to punch in the fucking face? Like fedoras I'm kind of just neutral to now, like they're just funny, but this shit pisses me off. This whole "I'm so quirky and weird with my handlebar mustache!" like you know they're an attention-seeking prick who can't shut up for 5 minutes. Fuck handlebar mustaches. They should be outlawed.
I swear, doing or wearing something because its ironic is one of the worst fucking reasons to do something
> I'm wearing an ugly thrift store t T-shirt with my $500 jeans. I'm so ironic!
No you're not, youre a fucking cunt with no fashion sense and you're trying to cover it up by buying expensive cloths and making a joke out of it.
Handlebar mustache is ok for like a week.
What about normal mustache? Is it played out yet?
I've had a "ironic" mustache for a couple years and grew to identify with it, but after the movie HER it became sorta mainstream and it doens't make me look as interesting as before.
But if i shave it off i will look banal :(
I had a big beard and shaved it off after an year because it took too much primping and everyone started growing one.
What do? I wanna keep the stache but it seems played out at this point.
Well I find that people with them tend to expect that they will be treated with some kind of awe or respect for having one. Trouble is they're normally pretentious twats who think it makes them look 'distinguished'.
had one just for funsies (wasnt able to grow one when it was more trendy to)
and my new housemates treated me like it looked distinguished, and were in awe. it was really awful. I like never talking about looks and fits irl
Keep the stache son. If you've had if for years, it's a part of who you are. It's no longer "ironic".
Also, don't say "banal", it makes you sound like a giant douche.
Also, stop caring about others opinions, or your mustache will become "ironic" again, and you'll have to shave it off.
No it's not worse than a fedora. Yeah it's played out and stupid, but at the end of the day wearing something ironically means you're essentially wearing it as a joke.
Fedora wearers on the other hand legitimately think they look classy and mature, when it's the polar opposite of the truth
how is casey still not mentioned in this thread
I know this is really gay but the guy from achievement hunter I don't want to punch in the face. He has it because he likes fable.
