Little /fa/ school
>This is thread is about sweaters (cardigans accepted)
Drop some knowledge
i cant find any well fitting cable knits, they all seem to be sloppy like dis
I don't fucking know.
I'm lurking hard as a motherfucker but can only find mediocre shit, which seems to be a hard task already.
Another one and this is the best I found at Norse Projects.
I know there's better out there.
I'm kinda interested in aran knit wear, as an affordable alternative to designer knits, which do come with arguably more interesting knit patterns and such but also at three or four times the price.
Am I right to assume that the difference in merino and new wool would primarily be in how scratchy they feel to the skin?
Are wool knits generally more wind proof than cotton knits?
I don't think wool is wind proof at all, but correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, the charesteristics of the wool are dependant on the sheep.
What's new wool?
>aran knit wear
interesting patterns but some are ridiculous how they fit
This one can be bought at Zalando for 80 euro, I have this one and it is ok
im tryin 2 haggle with this dude but hes not budging kek
mite just have 2 cop for $190 cuz i love it
Sorry for the bad quality
I am 1.90m and 75kg, this one is a L which is just fine :)
this with black/faded blue cuffed slim jeans, converse high tops and a white art print tee and longish messy brown hair
I want to make it myself. Someone know if it's difficult or possible to me, a person with zero knowledge and a desire to learn?
Nothing is bad about them in general.
I just think the ones you've posted are unnecessary.
It doesn't please my eyes, not are they over the top practical. So why the fuck bother?
Why do you even like the ones you've posted so much?
selling a couple cheap ervell sweaters btw
pic related and a navy mock neck one
both size xs , they're going on grailed when i can be bothered but i'll give u guys a heads up
leave ur email if ur interested
I found one by Asos.
In all honesty, you can find some really cool looking sweaters and over-sized sweaters at a Salvation Army or thrift shop, I'd prefer getting a really unique looking sweater for $10 than a plain one for $150
What does /fa/ think of this (if I removed the band stuff)?
Where can I get this style without any of the logos?
Look at this cracker. His hands all curled up and naked like they're embarrassed to be there. Like "um sorry I'm not covered by shirt because I need to hold pens and shit". Fucking shit this is why so many /fa/ fits look like faggedy ann bullshit. This some newspaper-sellin-ass bitch
Merino wool comes from a certain breed of sheep which has particularly fine wool. Garments made from merino wool are typically thinner and will not feel scratchy against your skin.
Lambswool as you might guess is wool which is shorn from lambs (young sheep) which again has a finer feel to it than wool shorn from adult sheep.
Garments made from lambswool will be a little thicker and warmer than merino in general but will still have some of the woolen scratchy feel to them.
does anyone know w2c similar?
Cardigan inspo for you guys. If anyone has a picture of Craig's full fit here I'd appreciate it.
I don't know why but I just can't stand cardigans like that, with bigass tacky collar and the low v opening with buttons.
I've never really seen anyone pulling one off really well without coming off as dadcore faggot, doesn't help those are popular among 17 year old macklemore fans where I'm form.
I'm pretty sure he still has a stylist, he can't really afford to look like shit after getting famous because it's pretty specific image he's trying to sell.
If you look at the roles he has been in after Bond he has played more or less the same character.
Kuma sweater by silent. got it half price boys.
tried to post this earlier, no legit responses
any ideas on how to wear this without looking dumb? what to wear it with, etc...
found a black gucci cardigan at beacon's last week. like new $30
i want another in grey because it's so nice
might just get v neck
Dope, could be cooler it it was more lighter or darker, the contrast is kinda meh
Bonus points for vertical stripes, really feeling vertical designs on sweaters lately for some reason.
I have fever and I'm not a native speaker
I'm sorry I feel dumb as fuck now though
Thoughts on this old sweater i found? has a little hole on the front but its unnoticeable.
XL so it fits a little baggy on me, but its not too big. I'm an L usually.
nah man it's cool, we all make mistakes. sorry for being a dick lol
I fucking hate embroidered logos on knit sweaters with passion, you find otherwise nice piece but then it's ruined by some tacky ass logo in the chest.
That's actually not completely terrible and seems like it's not on the chest but fuck these things.
yesh this is my baby rn, not quite exactly this sweater (it says not just ACNE but ACNE STUDIOS on the tag) it fits a bit oversized but damn it's heavy and comfy
also this picture of me has been posted a few times, god I can't imagine a life without oversized sweaters
How are uniqlo cardigans. I will admit to being a newfag, I have zero sweaters, what colour sweater/cardigans should I be picking up first.
>people un-ironically think this looks good
I love this but it's a poly/cotton blend, cop anyway?
welcome to /fa/
High quality sweaters are the pinnacle of /fa/-porn
Hnnnng i love those insane expensive sweaters that feel like they are made by angels
Anyone any inspo with horizontal patterns?
Ton of designs SS15 collections are rocking horizontal patterns and I'm really digging it
Would be so much better as plain crewneck
Patterns mad dope though
The necklines were all really awesome when worn, though.
It looks bad. The stripes on the sleeves are already thin and obnoxious, but the zig zags on the torso are especially awful. With them together, they clash. The blue is too bright/teal-like.
so i could repost image, can't have duplicate images so i thought why not. obviously i have no shame, i posted it in 2 threads and the first one was without the logo scrawled out
thanks though bro, i have bad sense in fashion so even though your advice might not seem like much to you it means a lot to me haha
Isn't that more a function of where you shop than of the design detail itself. If you only shopped at Ralph Lauren and Brunnelo Cuccinelli wouldn't you "only" think it's a high-end detail?
I guess i associate it with the guys at my school who wore elbow patches because they wanted to be "le 50s nerd XD". I cant remember seeing them that much on more fashionable brands, but maybe thats just because i get most of my inspo from /fa/ where everyone is obsessed with minimalism.
I really like the design of this sweater but the reviews say the material is really itchy
W2c so badly.
Raf Simons x Sterling Ruby
One time while thrifting 2 japanese tourists came in wearing goth/tech ninja stuff.
They wandered into the women's department and bought some of those net sweaters. I also noticed they bought a bunch of black long sleeved shirts and they wore SARS masks while shopping.
Hollister is doing the same for 50$
Oh yeah right, you're a fucking brandwhore who wants to spend 400$.
Buying designer stuff is worse than superdry, because even if the brand isn't exposed, you will bitch about how "design" it is and how much you spent for it and of course, tell what brand it is.
I had a 95% wool 5% cashmere sweater... it was beautiful, way comfier and warmer than my oyher 100% wool sweaters...
I cannot even imagine how beautiful and perfect a 100% cashmere sweater must be :O
currently saving for pic related
Are you trying to get that Houtarou look?
No surprise, I like the really aggressive, slutty V necks from several seasons ago. And you can't ever go wrong with the classic hooded cardigan, especially now that they've added pockets to the most recent versions. I'm actually almost never a fan of the open drape style.
why are you the self titled source guy and yet u dont know SHIT
why the fuck is the nice sweater made by supreme so I have to pay rape prices
What the fuck are you even doing here? This is yesstyle tier shit, fucking no do not buy it.
What has this board become
brands i own:
amazing quality but old man fit tier :
loro piana cashmere
Shit quality, but good fit: H&M for xmas season cuddle puppy sweaters
good fit, good quality: Rag & Bone have 4 sweaters from them, 2 from loro and 1 from h&m
minmal wardrobe ftw
Anybody ever cop from Brooks Brothers?
This Supima cotton is on Gilt for 70 bucks.
>cozy but itchy
Where can I get similar slouchy, patterned cardigans that don't itch?
I will try to sum up the whole thread in various info pics now, filling up little holes with what I can find on google.
Please keep on posting.
Might take some time, if anyone else wants to do my job, let me know, lol.
Plus, if anyone can find info pics, please drop them, so we can plagiate them.
I don't want to do work twice.
Just copped this YMC fleck sweater
Been looking for this one and thought it was long sold out everwhere, also on sale for 1/3 the price
>delicious multi fleck
I'm bout to cop a few new ones. Can't wait for raf ruby patch ones to go on sale in a few months. I'd cop it now but I'm buying a synth
I don't really like buying sweaters new, I feel like half the fun is going thrifting to find them. And when I look online or whatever everything is so bland. I just like baggy, cozy as fuck sweaters.
w2c fair isle/other patterned cardigans for less than $80
