Last thread was pretty good.
Saw some newish Fall drops lately, specifically this:
Anyone tried it yet? Looks kinda nice online but maybe bad IRL.
>tfw they chegged up on the Plokhov drop
I swear Uniqlo put out exactly what I want, was about to cop one from Muji.
Also that looks fine OP.
>Also, do they restock on their flannels?
Online or at the store? Flannels are one of their most popular items so I'd think they'd restock them. But then again their online store is notorious for being really bad at having stock.
Thinking of copping this flannel. Their flannel are light and good for the price and fit me pretty well, so I kinda wanna cop this (being my 3rd flannel from them) since I'm also gonna cop a Pure Blue Sweatshirt from them.
Just check back daily, since yeah they are bad at restocking online. But sometimes they pop up. I copped a wine before they sold out, I love it. I need to lift, since I look a little grunge-core in it because I'm skinny but it is a great fit.
Have you ever bought one? Are they any good? I've been wanting to get into wearing cord lately since it looks comfy but Uniqlo isn't my first choice for most warm things.
You are probably good at a medium. If not, 8 bucks for a return and it ain't really a bad deal. Their sizing charts are USUALLY pretty tts.
Probably just lighter. I'd be more concerned about it being almost like a fleece material over anything, since a lot of their other stuff is thin. I'm sure sizing is relatively the same
Yeah, I am gonna cop a small online. Since you saw them in store, do you think they are worth the extra 10 bucks over a regular sweatshirt from Uniqlo? They look a tad thicker and nicer constructed.
Is the Uniqlo x Alexandre Plokhov collab coming to the UK? Anyone know?
they already said it's not on twitter
also that jacket didnt even make it into production
check uniqlo.jp -- all the pieces that actually made it are there and will reflect on uniqlo us site.
I want to cop some sweatpants but I'm not feeling whatever is going on with the thighs on the ribbed sweats. And the lack of ribbing doesn't do it for me on the other ones.
The sweatshirts are priced just right to make me consider copping without outright saying "I could just get a cashmere sweater for about this price."
excited that uniqlo has lambswool sweaters again. They look nice and thick and cozy. Anybody have experience with them?
Never got a reply in the last thread, but what do I need to know about the raw slim straights?
I got a pair of regular denim, and they are nice, but a little wide around the leg opening. The thighs are about perfect.
If I get slim straight raws, will they be too tight around the waist and how much do they shrink down?
Which sweaters and tees are short?
5'10" hate how every damn tee shirt nowadays is a goddamn tall tee on me
+J rerelease just dropped in the uk, copped this already!
>check uniqlo.jp -- all the pieces that actually made it are there and will reflect on uniqlo us site.

German here, does Uniqlo hate getting money from me or something?
>have to buy from the UK-shop
>still can't order anything because they only accept credit-cards
>even if I would go to a physical store (implying I would) I couldn't, because the only one is in Berlin
Fuck this, are there any similar things like Uniqlo that are actually attainable here in socialist germany?
I-ich weiß. ;_;
hey man, that's exactly the one I was most interested in. Can you shed a little light on the sizing/fit etc?!
Thinking of copping this:
Any thoughts? How is it?
They are okay. You might wanna spend the extra 10 bucks and get the PBJ ones though, I hear they are a bit thicker.
Also, what do you guys think of this shirt? I kinda like it for 10 bucks, looks cute but I kinda question if I'd wear it enough or if I just like the design.
guys all the qlo shit looks the same to me
pbj pullover, plokhov pullover, qlo pullover
what the fuck is it just a scam to have a collab name attached to the same shit with maybe a slightly different construction?
I went with the mountain parka, its coming today so i'll try and post a fit later.
really only because of the material if the field jacket was cotton/canvas I would have bought it immediately
>pretty much. uniqlo wants to milk all the stupid kids, i don't blame them. their previous collabs were pretty great, but the plohkov one is very uninspired and stupid.
Big Uniqlo fan here and I gotta agree. Especially strange that it's being hyped so much because Helmut Lang/Plohkov isn't even that good.
>just dropped $110 for a bunch of qlo basics
>see that Mason Jacket on ILU
>kinda wish I bought that mason jacket instead
w-well it's better to have a bunch of basics than just one jacket r-right guys
I want to buy their women's duffle coat but it's not on the US site, though it's on UK's. Do they just update the site randomly?
I know that feel. I buy way too much stuff from Uniqlo. I could've gotten a nice "expensive" denim shirt rather than 3 of their denim shirts, which are pretty thin and cheap. But hey at least I like the color.
So I'm really digging this coat from the +J collection. I need a big comfy coat to weather the Colorado storms and this seems perfect.
But my worry is that it won't be warm enough (for 225 bucks anyways) and will be kinda thin like most Uniqlo pieces.
W2C similar, or should I not worry about it?
>Started shedding literally everywhere a week in, definitely the worst item to ever come from uniqlo.
I am fully convinced ULD is just a plot to make money off European tourists that come to the 5th Ave store. Every time I am there I see tons of middle aged Dutch men buying them in bulk.
They have nice lounge pants and scarves. I've bought their underwear too but the patterns can be kind of granny looking depending on her preference. Their pants run long in one length and the tights are really small.
Navy or off-white/beige
Since you're getting the coat I'd suggest adding a scarf if they're available
Seems to be more of a rain jacket, which I recently already purchased (from Rains, was about $120), but I really like the silhouette. I'll go to the store tomorrow and check but was wondering if anyone has it already.
Materials definitely don't suggest this is for warmth/winter:
Body; shell: 86% polyester, 14% nylon/ lining: 100% polyester/ liner; shell: 100% polyester/ filling: 100% polyester/ lining: 100% polyester
The supimas are really good. Really comfortable and fit great. But their flannels are great and you basically can't go wrong. I copped this one because I only had cash for one. Can't really pick one favourite, the slim oxfords are good too.
Damn lucky, I wish I had the same luck.
I got one $5 shirt because they had no black supimas, thinking should be pretty similar. But no, there's a really noticeable difference, the supimas feel so good. Just wish I had more money and time. Really good basics for an reasonable price.
>tfw my closet is almost all jcrew because they're the only decent store within a reasonable distance
It honestly depends.
My rule of thumb is; the cheeper it is, the larger it *usually* runs.
5 bux shirts, and some long sleeve shirts, tend to fit better a size down. But they're boxy as hell anyways.
Every other shirt over $10, like the supima or OBD, are pretty true to size.
I got my mountain parka a size down, medium was a little too lose for my taste, and I can still wear 2-3 layers and it's not tight at all.
Other jackets are usually fine. No clue about their sweaters, you should honestly just try on jackets and sweaters because they're either to big or fits fine.
I'm 5'10" as well, as long as you're not fat you should be okay with medium everything.
there's a guide on their site
I'd be careful. I haven't heard anything about that coat in particular, but it looks like weatherproofing could be an issue. Also, looking at the picture (arms especially) it doesn't look like there's much insulation.
Missed out on this last year and have learned that they won't be bringing it back. pretty bummed
So my mom emailed me from Japan
"Son I will buy you flannel shirt as long as you wash your jeans, I saw on TV that if you do not wash your jeans it will beget harmful bacteria and lead to structural damage as well as unsanitary"
What the fuck am I supposed to do
I never wash my skinny jeans but theyre fresh as fuck because i keep it in the freezer
Some fit pics from sufu.
"Here fit pics. These are L, Im 6ft 85ish kg atm. jean size is 32. Its hard to see the details so I bumped exposure and contrast a bit which makes them look washed out but they are black.
I agree with homi, Not all that special but good for $40. if you were looking for some sweats anyway may as well get the fashiony ones."
8 pieces at the moment with more to come.
Can anybody top it? Shouldn't be too hard.
I got tons of socks
All my underwear is qlo
like 6-7 buttons ups (went a bit crazy earlier this year)
and like 4 sweaters
.. i need to shop at other stores
Even tswift doing monochrome now? Fuck I better start selling all my black shit on grailed before you guys catch on and try to do the same
>good luck selling it when it's even more out of style
I'm probably gonna need a new casual jacket for winter. What's everyone's opinions on their ULD jackets?
Man you guys weren't exaggerating when you said the website sells out fast, though it's only the navy that's completely out. Should I cop a different color instead or just wait? I have a feeling navy duffle's going to be the next olive parka for basic bitches but I've been dying to get one in my size.
1 heattech shirt
maybe 6-8 undies
4 pairs of socks
prob going to grab a long johns next time I need to go somewhere cold (ie when I'm not in aus), another heattech shirt, more socks and more shirts and airism shit (prob gonna impulse on other shit once proper sydney store opens)
I overheard staff answering someone asking that and they said the pitt st one will open October sometime?
and according to http://www.propertyobserver.com.au/finding/commercial-investment/retail/35426-zara-gap-h-m-and-uniqlo-announced-for-macquarie-centre-ryde.html
the macquarie centre one will open oct 16 (although that one will be more of a trek though)
just so you know a couple of pieces are up under new arrivals, they just haven't 'officially' announced them yet
just copped these
you are welcome
it's up y'all
holy shit this is already sold out xs-m lmao
Shit, was trying to get that as well. Anybody copping pic related, I'm in need of a new sweatshirt. Any thoughts if this is worth $40?
aaaaaaaand it's sold out when it hasn't even been officially announced yet
bravo americans, you gobble this shit up
i personally like the raglan sleeves of the pure blue collection better
Yeah. I'm going to wear all black sweats so I can let my inner turmoil out while also being a comfy nihilist teen. Nah but really, I'm probably going to wear one piece at a time with a contrasting lighter piece of clothing like I originally said.
Also the long hoodie is sold out in XL, average sized Americans everywhere are finally getting the oversized goth hoodies that they always wanted.
IDK what you mean by "normies" (stupid 4chan term anyway), but they are the most basic/normal store in Japan and just expanding in the US, so I guess?
+J is up on UK website, UK friends please buy and tell us how they are.
Dude, the whole point of Uniqlo is "clothing for all". Why does it matter if "normal" (?) people wear it and it becomes popular? As long as it doesn't affect their actual clothes it's fine.
It's not like some designer brand is going cheap and mainstream.
/fa/ wants to feel like a special little snowflake every which way they go so if a brand gets too popular, the quality and overall looks and taste of it immediately turns to shit because now everyone else looks like them.
Its mostly just basics everyone is buying and they are plain and simple and work well enough in several aesthetics this board is interested in
the fact that is has always been a place where you can dress like a dad as advertised means nothing (unless that is something that does mean something to you and you can no longer give it your business?)
seriously, as an asian that has been to asian uniqlos, it feels like half of qlo's profits come from the "40+ yo asian buying down jackets" market.
