What are the most aesthetically pleasing type of feet?
-OFFICIAL TIER LIST-
more like most shoes force feet into a greek shape
barefoot tribesmen have basically the same foot shape the world over
what op's image ignores is that your feet change shape significantly depending on what shoes you wear and how long you wear them
if you wear tight, pointed shoes all day every day, your feet will end up looking like #1, even though they would otherwise naturally be more like 2 or 4
>be me, 6'1 wearing size 9 shoes
>realize I have little bitch feet
>ask mom "do small feet run in the family?"
>she gets uncomfortable
>says when I was a baby she and my dad never bought me new shoes
>we could afford them, they just didn't know babies feet grew so fast
>wore 6 month old shoes for like a full year
>mfw my parents bound my feet
>Morton's toe, especially the second-toe-is-longer versions, has a long association with disputed anthropological and ethnic interpretations. Morton called it Metatarsus atavicus, considering it an atavism recalling prehuman grasping toes. In statuary and shoe fitting, a more-protuberant second toe has been called the Greek foot (as opposed to the Egyptian foot, where the great toe is longer). It was an idealized form in Greek sculpture, and this persisted as an aesthetic standard through Roman and Renaissance periods and later (the Statue of Liberty has toes of this proportion).
Greek feet are truly the most beautiful
2,4,5 honestly look fucking weird.
1 is fine because decreasing in length uniformly, and 3 is okay too. but the others with like 3 long/equal toes and 2 short toes or 1 long and 4 short are fucking disgusting
Except your bones aren't just going to tidily migrate. If your feet are shaped that way because of your shoes then they'd look scrunched and pushed together. Not to mention, who wears shoes that are smaller than the width of their feet all day, every day?
yes they will. people don't notice because their parent had them wearing bad shoes since childhood.
Pretty sure this has been a thing for a lot longer bro
The pic you just posted now shows that shoes are not shaped like human feet, pictured on the left. Which is exactly the kind of foot you cry out about shoes shaping them into. The picture on the right is what he suggests shoes are shaped after.
The foot on the left is a horribly deformed normal, that would fit into that shoe last. The foot on the right, is a non-normal foot that would also fit into the shoe. Implying the shoe shape is not made for normal human feet.
Yes, but not implying that shoe shape actually forms your feet. The only way to do that is to wear too small shoes as a child, letting your feet grow into the shape of the shoe. I don't see many kids wearing pointy leather shoes.
It will not change the length of your toe bones. It still can easily change the shape of your toes and the angle they are at. No leather dress shoe need. Converse will fuck with your feet given that rubber won't even stretch like leather does.
Anicent Scandinavian here
I recently lost the entire nail on my big toe.
Mine are disgusting shape.
Size 7 or 8 depending on shoe
