Can we get a cup thread? What kind of cups are you using?
>1 pound each
>stocky, durable, thick
Did I mention this is a man's cup? This ain't no fuckin glass, no, this is a CUP. It's twelve inches around at the rim and not much thinner in the midsection. You got some wimpy-ass baby hands, don't bother with this cup.
You're telling me the damn thing's got a radius of a fucking foot?
It's not really that huge. It fits comfortably in my hand, and an iPod Touch sits neatly inside.
does anyone find that water tastes different based on the vessel it's drunk from
i pretty much only drink filtered water and have 3 types of glass
one is blue and ribbed and tastes the best
one is small and from a japanese import store and tastes not awful
the last are large and curved and tastes awful
This cup is perfect. It is indestructible and can hold over a liter of beverage. /fa/? maybe not, but i love it.
Absolutely, drinking water from a plastic protein shake thing is ghastly, as is using any sort of earthy toned glass ware.
Also if the cup is too short or slender the drink can never be satisfying. I always get inwardly annoyed when I drink at someone's house and they use a pint glass and give me a tumbler or something.
Also cups in old people's houses always seem to taste odd, can't stand them.
I fill this up about six times a day.
Hydration is /fa/.
I lost my one in the Brisbane river, had to endure the tragedy of it gently bobbing away.
Holy shit you sissies man up. I drink like a true man, by getting up every ten minutes to satiate my endless thirst (caused by fuckin yo bitch) to guzzle water straight from the running tap.
>Also cups in old people's houses always seem to taste odd, can't stand them
most old people have lived in their house for many decades. Old pipes equals rust + all of them chems mixed in from the local water distributor makes a bad combo
Got a heap of 6oz Inker coffee cups and saucers for a few grand. theyre nice but overrated i think.
I mostly drink tea or coffee out of this. I usually use glasses/bottles for water.
rather condense these to furniture/interior threads
I fucking hate the texture of those things, feels so gritty and wrong. Glass, ceramic and niche materials (stone/wood usually) are infinitely better. More aesthetically pleasing, a better tactile experience, and not created out of the plague that is cheap and mass produced plastics.
dirt cheap, larger than 95% of cups, tastes better cause glass
>got free from pub
I asked for a couple water bottles for Christmas, I got two but I've only used one of them so far because I like it so much. Pic related but clear instead of tinted.
I drink out of a cocktail shaker because of the volume you can get in there, and it's indestructible
Beer glass, highball glass and your average disposable IKEA glass. I have some mugs as well but I never use them since I don't drink coffee.
It does say on box, "gundam cafe" but you actually have to go to Odaiba (where the 1:1 scale gundam is) to get it at the gift shop. I dont think the Cafe in Akihabara sells them (cant remember)
I have all my glassware from IKEA. It's pretty durable, and if one breaks, it's not the end of the world. 6 tumblers, 6 collins, 6 wine glasses, 4 champagne flutes. 4 beer mugs, 4 pilsner glasses, 4 martini glasses, 4 stemless wine classes, 4 margarita glasses, 12 reserve collins and tumblers.
>I do more entertaining than I should
Got some other basic glasses as well. Mostly just like this one because it's a pretty nice and basic mug. Does its job.
