FLCL is most /fa/ anime of all time
Punpun is pretty good basic bitch manga
i'm pretty sure a large proportion of Japanese people watch anime, that's why they produce so much of it.
and the last time i checked, Japan was one of the worlds fashion powerhouses.
shut up bruv, let people do what they wonna do, aint none of your concern.
Some anon summed up punpun pretty well in animu thread few days ago
That post actually said nothing about the quality of the manga itself, I think the guy said he liked it too in the thread.
It's just not /fa/ at all and I agree 100% with the depression part because people ride it's dick on 4chan so fucking much.
>Dick Owens, Ralf Semens, usually what I'm dressed in
The supposed fashion
It has nothing to do with this board as a manga but people constantly force it here. Wow black and white manga where someone wears a shirt with stripes, so fashion.
Ok I'll give you that one, there's definitely nothing /fa/ about that striped shirt he wears.
I think the whole black and white general aesthetic definitely appeals to the most /fa/ users. It's like when anons keep posting "artsy" tumblr photography in inspo threads
You've never gone to Japan have you?
I went there on a study abroad program and although they aren't crazy about it, thye industry is not going to die anytime soon.
Stop talking out your ass to drive your point, fuccboi.
nah... non-otakus don't watch it and most of the stuff on tv is for kids
anyways kuragehime is pretty fa bc it's about a trap who makes a fashion label w/ a bunch of otakus lol
Miyamura is the original manbun
also prison school. nothing about it is effay in particular but the art is incredible
paradise kiss manga
early Bleach manga has a lot of fun alt-character art you could borrow from as long as you don't go full retard.
Jojo has a prada spread i think.
Witch hunter robin has some interesting minimal designs once you get past all the trench coats.
Only teenagers who aren't getting pussy.
Anime lovers are called otaku in Japan, and the definition is " a young person who is obsessed with computers or particular aspects of popular culture to the detriment of their social skills"
>mfw when even japanese people call anime fans freaks
The series is actually good though right? I've been meaning to watch it for a while
That definition has largely shifted and is now mainly a view held by the older demographic, 40+
Especially because the current generation grew up with 2ch and was surrounded by anime culture from a young age
Well that older generation is right about anime being detrimental to the younger generation, they are a bunch of fucking losers who sleep with anime female shaped pillows and can't take real life by the balls
Anime culture is seriously not healthy dude.
>havent even fired a gun tho
You're pretty
_bad
your spoiler tag is as good as his triggerfinger

>i'm pretty sure a large proportion of Japanese people watch anime, that's why they produce so much of it
Not really. Manga is incredibly popular in Japan but anime sales are more reliable on the obsessive fans who buy a lot of merchandise for series they like, and are willing to buy the DVDs for special bonuses like voice actor event tickets and uncensored fanservice scenes. A series is considered to be selling ok if its pre-orders are around 6k DVDs, and a success when it sells around 15-20k, which seems very paltry when you compared it to regular film sales or manga that have sold literal millions of volumes over the years. The really big-deal anime like Evangelion and Bakemonogatari are the ones that were able to break into the mainstream audience and have abnormally high sales that other series rarely reach.
Except for Gundam SEED for god knows why.
Forgot to add, Atsushi Kaneko makes really /fa/ manga but almost none of his stuff is available outside of Japan or France.
Anime culture doesn't just come out of no where, its a direct result of the horrible economic and political policies supported by the older generation. You'd be in full escapist mode too if the societal norm was working 70 hours weeks for little pay, if you even got a job at all. Japan is a hellhole to live in, visiting is nice though.
According to Japanese international students I hang out with being Otaku isn't considered a bad thing like we make it out to be.
Otaku != anime figure collecting hug pillow lover
One girl is an idol Otaku cuz she loves idols and buys CDs to get handshake tickets and shit. She says she buys like 3 while some of her friends buy 100.
Some anime/Manga Otaku girls that watch and read more casually than your average basic bitch fiends Netflix.
The JP guys have no hobbies they'd be more interesting if they were some kind of otaku. Just one dude is a きんにくばか cuz all he does is work out.
I'd say it might be comparable to the calling people nerds because they play games or like to read comics. It's not exactly endearing but it's not exactly insulting at this point either.
on a more specific note, which angel was most /fa/
i say sachiel
>The JP guys have no hobbies
This is so true. I was just there on exchange for a year, and there was a good reason why I didn't have that many Japanese friends that were guys.
95% of them were boring as fuck
Kyoani is the most effay animu studio
hyouka is seriously /fa/. if only it wasn't so boring and if chitanda wasn't such a huge bitch.
Kaneki's fit is pretty dope
Tokyo Ghoul ain't the most effay manga but has some sick mask designs i guess
btw if you get interested you'll prolly stumble into the anime at some point
just pretend it doesn't exist
mfw jormungand ever comes up in any thread here ever
>My hair gets like that when its longer but in exchange i'm a manlet and a gook
>manlet and a gook
Use that to your advantage - at least try to be Oreki. You can do it if any of us can.
KyoAni really knows ow to make best boys and effay protags.
Akihito is almost as cool as Oreki.
Hei looks handsome as fuck but then again I just love purple in general
thing is dude, the only difference between these pictures and alot of the others that get posted here is that the person wearing them is a girl, is wearing a more traditional looking outfit and is drawn in a more modern artstyle than say >>9475217 or >>9473414
theres really no reason to call this out. i actually chose this artist to post pictures from because he reminded me of the tatami galaxy artist
end yourself my man
Nami and Robin are extremely fashionable
>on a board with literal tumblr threads
Could you ever wear this in public?
I actually feel that Asuka and Rei have the better fits.
Soon. The beta uprising won't come with in the form of lead, but in the form of cloth.
It's only a matter of time until some big name rapper like Kanye starts wearing shit with manga prints.
You're just saying that because Durarara is fun to say.
It super is.
I'll also nominate Mirai Nikki. Show was meh but MC has good taste.
it doesn't get more /fa/ than this
are we far enough in the future for niheicore yet?
