Post your favorite white shoes
Posting my favorite. Love these.
Thinking of copping trying to cop the old leather pair to replace my "newer" canvas pair.
I'm pretty partial to these GANT ones ever since I saw them
although obvs CPs are king
I like the silhouette on those more than the CPs.
stan smiths have always been my favorite
if there's a shoe every person should own, it's this
GANT is also a very good clothing company that made it's fame during the 60s with the whole "take ivy" prep squad.
I've thought about buying the white CPs as well, but after seeing these a couple months ago, and really liking GANT (rugger)'s stuff I feel like I could make do with these for sure.
They also had some high tops that I missed out on my size :(
anyway just letting ppl know that the GANT shoe is def a good contender against the CPs
On the topic of CP alternatives, Pointer makes a good pair for $100
Lakai Cambry's are much cheaper than other options but don't look as good.
I've always just kinda liked these.
But post moar. Need inspo for what to cop next.
Saw these on the basement and never wore it cause i never liked white shoes but nowadays everyones crazy bout them. Are these white converse offensive or nah?
how do you pull off wearing brightly coloured shoes (not necessarily white)? they stand out way too much and unless you are a kawaii japanese teenager it looks weird as fuck
Any ideas for when the next sale for CPs will be? I want to pick up a pair of Royal Republic Spartacus because I have yet to hear anything negative about them, but I keep hearing that CPs go on sale for around 240 if that's gonna happen anytime soon I'll be bummed having spent 180 on these. Should I just buy these?
I identify as /fa/ and you have just triggered me
>very thin, pebbly leather
>taking a picture probably creased it
CP alternativefags when will they learn.
Buttero shoes look great and I hear good things about the quality, some people say that they're better than CPs. They're also waay cheaper
Its a lacoste shoe with minimal branding that look really good
But as always, when it comes to lacoste you really don't know about the quality
by WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie. Really dope imo
It's something you become comfortable with as you do it. Take a walk down your university and you'll see people wear white shoes all the time. Maybe a little dirty, but the point stands. I always thought wearing white shoes with dark colors looked weird. Now I have no problem with a dark flannel, black jeans and my white shoes. It just looks normal to me because I've done it, and it took me a year to get to that understanding and level.
It is just a case of "not being used to it" If you wanna experiment more, try wearing a lighter top with darker bottoms to balance it out and go from there. I find a dark open shirt with a white t shirt underneath is a good way to break up the contrast
what is the word on these, although i am thinking black possibly instead not sure
poor studentfag here, what are some good white trainers I could get for <£50 that are also easy to maintain?
I made the mistake of paying £90 for some lovely Puma trainers that had big patches of suede on it and suffice to say they didn't stay white for super long and the suede is a bitch to maintain and already the leather on the toe of the shoe has ripped off a little
(no vans tho pls I find them uncomfortable to wear)
i have af1s for beaters and i stick to those or boots when its really gross out
if i am going to wear some of my nice white sneakers in the winter i only wear them in the evening when i'm going out, since i will logically be spending most of the time inside. then i wipe them off later that night/the next day. as long as you don't let the salt sit on them for a while, you should be fine
if they're white canvas don't even bother trying, they will get disgusting quick
Christ, this op is retarded. If you're getting a cp alternative, expect a drop in quality, especially at sub 100.
My rod lavers came in two days ago and they're great for the price. There's no actual issue with quality, this guy is just nitpicking. They're very comfortable, the branding is borderline unnoticeable, and they're slim looking as fuck.
I'm very partial about these. I like how clean they are but I'm afraid they'll get dirty easily
better nowhere, these look canvas to me which would get dirty in no time and this only looks good when clean, so maybe drop your 100 EUR on something which can be used more than once like the AF1s
GOAT white sneaker. Why are these so hard to get/expensive??
