Weirdly, there's not a lot of love for Mariano di Vaio on /fa/.
All the photos of him I've seen here were posted by myself.
Had chemo, hair got weirdly fucked. No longer wavy. What do?
Looking for something new. Hair is thick and coarse, any suggestions?
More like this?
This would be a perfect haircut for me
I would just bring in a photo but what else would you tell the hairdresser?
I dunno what to do with my hair. Im trying to grow it out and i usually just put it to the side, but it looks bad. I could just cut it, i suppose, but i'd rather not.
My hair is always this puffy when I wake up/ when it dries off. I'm trying to let it grow out. Suggestions?
Maybe shower at night and sleep on it if your hair doesn't get to greasy and see what happens? I don't see anything wrong, the volume makes it look healthy and as long as you can manage your bangs it looks good m80
any ideas on cool shit i can do with my hair? besides the obvious man bun
I recently dyed my hair and it fucked it up, making it all flat and bad. Wat do
Wet pic & combed down to show true length. This form is temporary if I don't use tons of gel/wax because when it dries, it goes back to the puffy form previously shown. Any tips/suggestions?
Need help /fa/
I have something like pic related.
But the problem is the sides aren't blended in to the top so in the opposite side of my face (the side I don't keep my hair hanging) there's stray hair from the top falling to the sides covering most of the buzz. This looks sort of clowny, so should I just have that side blended in?
I'm hesitating because I'm not sure how it would look with two sides being different, and it might look really dumb if I don't want to have my hair laying at one side.
tl;dr: is it okay to have the buzz at the sides uneven with respect to each other?
I have long-ish, fairly thick hair -- down just under my mouth at the fringe, and just down to the base of my neck at the back. Currently I wear the fringe out of my face to the left, and that's all I really do with my hair.
Will it look alright if I take the back of my hair (probably everything behind my ears) into a short little ponytail? Or is that just weird?
He's just not interesting enough. Sure, he's good-looking in a traditional sense, but other than that he's incredibly dull. His hair is so average as well, just a fucking quiff with too much volume.
Undercut or messy just brushed to the side?
Hi /Fa/ i've worn my hair shaved for the last 6 months because my hair is shit, but now i want to grow it out again because i miss playing with it and tucking my hair behind my ears. Pic related is my goal right now, it'll take a long time i guess but should i cut my hair while waiting? All my hair is pretty much the same lenght, and my bangs haven't got to the point that it drops down naturally. Also my hair is crazy thick and straight so i can't get it to look good at all.
I want to do a modernized take on the mullet. I have the personality to pull it off, but any ideas/inspo? There's like a 10% of this looking good but I can always shave it off (I probably won't anyway)
Should I let my hair grow or I should try a different haircut?
What would I have to do to achieve this kind of hair?
Current hair in following pic
Me atm, this was a couple of weeks ago. Basically the same. When it's fully grown into my regular shape I love it but it's a real fucking rareness for it to go well/right.
At it's "finished" point. Just kinda want something else. Open to any advice/help
Just got a new haircut. Does it look ok, or should I just buzz it all?
I'm already treating the acne, I need help on the hair.
It's basically Young Leo with shorter bangs and a longer back.
Currently using Murray's to keep my long, curly hair together and (mostly) frizz-free, but it's really heavy and kinda gross, is there something that provides a similar hold without being quite so sludgy?
I shower and wash it daily. In that pic it was straightened on the sides and lightly on the front along with the side fringe (cut right to left) and then pushed against itself left to right to give it that bend. Then using vo5 dishevelling putty I pull down the sides, ruffle up the back, gently fix the fringe into that shape and then just fuck up the top until happy with it. Spray to fuck with hairspray, wait for it to dry, then break it up gently with fingers. Just rub the sides to break it up.
Thanks. Yeh I get you, I know that feeling. Just something I want to do. Randomly get the urge to change it. Girlfriend likes it. She's a picky bitch too so can't complain. Just feels like too much effort. Want to have something easy and good. Seems a hard thing for me
That v05 dishevelling putty is good stuff. Had 3 rubs. First was a solid consistency and really good. Nice and light. Recently have been more liquid based. Annoying and have to use more for it to have the same effect. Can easily go overboard.
maybe you could go for something like that? it's similar but not as style intensive.
and i assume with the disheveling putty, you're talking about
I use the Forming Cream instead of the fiber and get pretty good results. I only use apply it after some coconut oil though because if I don't it's too dry but that might just be me.
Thanks, that's a good pic. No, I used to use that a year or two ago, too greasy. Here's my stuff. Sorry. Got mixed up. It smells of dreams
i kinda dyed it for a bit of a laugh/change a couple months back and im not really sure what to do with it now.
Left pic is when it was initially dyed, right pic is it a few weeks back. Obviously it's a bit longer now so the sides have grown out and the roots are coming through a bit more.
how should i get it cut next weekend? any product recommendations would be handy too
What's the best pomade or hair gel to keep hair in a style similar to pic related? I'm trying for the combover look with longerish hair.
got a bad cut, sides are too low. probably going to wear a cap for a week
Growing out bad bangs, and have no idea what's most flattering for my face shape/hair texture.. i have always had long hair, but am curious what would look best? Texture is thick and wavy, help pls
How do I make my hair like this?
I already know how to dye, I just mean how do I make it have this structure/form?
before you ask
yeah i lost a dare
if i grow it out it becomes a shitty afro but i look like a monkey with really short hair
sorry for bad pic, all i can do
I think long or shoulder length hair works the best with your face shape. you could pull off pic related easily
also nice contouring
Does this style have a name? It's tied back in a pony tail on top, but some of the hair in the back is left loose.
What is with you younger kids these days. You take a picture of yourself, and you make an awful, unflattering expression creating huge lines on your forehead that will leave permanent marks. You look at this picture of yourself, and are so oblivious and lackin in self-awareness you think, "okay this looks alright" and you upload it
sounds like you're projecting
There is no reason to be angry friend
I have an undercut atm, and I've been told that it doesn't go well with my style, which is prep. MFA is who told me this.
They told me to grow it out a bit, and get a bit of a part.
My question is what the hell would that look like?
At the moment it's probably between a 4 and a 6 on the sides and back. On top, one side is longer than the other. Left is probably about 7-8 inches, and the right is probably 4-5.
first: dont listen to mfa ever, they somehow have even shittier taste than /fa/
second: this haircut is loud as fuck and you have to have an attitude to match it or your insecurity will show like it is now
so next time someone tells you that your hair isnt stylish tell them to fuck off and worry about their own problems because it looks fine (albeit disgustingly trendy)
thanks for reading
>tfw hair only looks good the first day I get a haircut
>tell them to fuck off
Oh I totally would if it wouldn't get me banned from there. I enjoy posting there from time to time, but man have you seen some of their shit in their WAYWTs? Fucking disgusting.
This was number #2 in their last WAYWT thread, Jesus Fucking Christ.
Anyway, what I was more inquiring about was if that was really the case, if my hair doesn't match what I wear, is all. I personally like my hair, but I tend to change every couple months or so since I get bored.
Thanks for the reply anon bro! Or sis, whatever you are. <3
>this much reddit in one post
god damn, nevermind. disregard everything i told you. my new advice is to fuck off and never come back to this board, and it would be beneficial for you to shoot yourself in the face in the meantime
thanks for reading
what do? grow/buzz? recommend anything? pls help
Headband to cover shitty in-between phases while i grow my hair, yes or no?
W2C nice ones?
been growing my hair out for like 9 months now and it's at a length i like, but the shape is sometimes a bit dodgy
is there anything i should do to it at the moment to make it easier to handle/style?
do you even like it?
currently 5 months no-poo btw
ignore the weird posture i'm 6'4" so i had to crouch for the mirror
Im thinking about getting my hair cut but i need suggestions
What should I do with my hair? It's always shitty. I don't use hair products like gel. Should I just do a buzzcut?
The sides could be shorter, right now it looks too "puffy" and round, similar to a helmet.
Then you could add some motion to the top with some products. Play with it.
And most importantly you should lose weight. And do not attempt the buzzcut.
Getting haircut. What get?
Maybe something that compliments my face shape and make me look closer to my age of 23?
Shorter sides keep actual length on top, lose weight (if you are are skinny enough, than you just have a somewhat puffy face with babby cheeks, with is not fundamentally dramatic), drop these glasses.
If you really need glasses then get something more actual and less typical than these frames.
You have a good skin though. Lucky boy.
what should i do with my hair ? I usually go to the barber and tell him to do whatever thinks is best
You need the head and facial aesthetics to rock it, and even then if you do have these features you would look better with a standard buzzcut than a fucking mohawk. So don't.
Shit is looking like a god damn hat or a bird nest. Go see a barber asap and get the sides shorter, just get the whole shit shorter.
Looked like a 50 years old dad from the thumbnail. Thanks to these glasses.
Provide a profile picture. But even then from the front i could safely say that you should lose the topknot.
repost from a previous thread
help me out gents im getting a cut tomorrow
Ok so i really want to shave my head.
I'm scared of looking like a skin head. Though, i'm sure my style will instantly negate that thought from most peoples heads.
i've had the same dull hair forever and want to change that. came here for a second opinion.
What do you think /fa/? Hair line shit? Color shit? what should i do if not buzz? some inspo and direction would be nice. Thanks again.
i'm thinking about growing my hair out, is this a good idea
also what the fuck is my face shape
what should i ask for at the barbers for this haircut
like a 4 on top, 1 on sides?
>wanting to get rid of andrea pirlo-core
any advice? i would like to make another hairstyle
Going into a barber tomorrow with thick, afro like hair.
How would I ask for pic related? or just something that can be slicked back
Does anyone here cut their own hair?
Could I grow my hair long without looking like asspizza? If not hair recs?
Eh maybe I was going a little overboard with "clean as fuck" I actually don't mind long hair on the top, I just want the sides and back clean, I just don't know if my head shape is right for something like an undercut or something of that nature.
Was thinking something like this.
I guess coming here for any sensible advice was a bad idea. I always forget that people here think they know a lot more about fashion than they actually do.
Goodbye autists, I won't miss you very much.
I've been wearing a beanie get my hair to stick the way i want it to. After showering or just when im at home and im not going anywhere.. Just make it wet and pop it on.. MOLD THAT SHIT
hair's at awkward stage ... I'd wear it like this more often but my bangs fly in my fae if I walk around and it's annoying
it's actually pretty tame right now - I have to throw some product in and then wear a beanie to get it to look like this. it'll get poofy if I leave it too long
is it worth growing out, or should I get it cut like young leo?
These are the three images I showed them
I wanna get that haircut (bottom right), my hair is currently that long (right), and the other picture was my old haircut.
Would it look ok?
no haircut for 2 months
Im, just bad at taking photos. Ty for helping.
I feel like my head is very top heavy because of my hair/glasses but I'm starting to like the longer hair. Any suggestions though? I'm not getting rid of the shitty beard because I have a scarred/disfigured chin that looks so much worse than any shitty chin strap could ever look.
tbh I don't think you'd pull it off. it's a very difficult hairstyle though you can still go for it and hope for the best.
My suggestions are:
Cut your sideburns
Short back and sides, #3 or 4 and make sure they fade it.
Ask for a square neck
Grow out the top
Don't slick it back, it's better sideways, don't use gel use pomade or wax.
Shit pictures but does anyone have any advice on what I should do? I normally have it in a man bun but the length is purely out of two years of laziness and I'm starting to hate it
I really don't know what to do with it, it's about 4.5 inches on top and buzzed on the sides, I need to keep it buzzed from the sides, because if i don't my head will end up looking very round and humongous, but I'm not sure what to do with all the hair on top, it's naturally very smooth and it has volume, I don't use hair products, what do?
What would be a good haircut for someone with a long backhead and slightly pointy chin? Along with having almost straight hair besides my sides that curl when they reach a few cm.
I just turned 18 roughly two months ago and I'm trying to grow my facial hair out into a beard.
I already got the facial hair on my cheeks and sideburns and mustache and chin hairs but it won't grow long.
I haven't shaved in a week how long would you estimate I got till it grows longer?
This is me last year around January 1st after 6 months of no shaving.
What can I do to help it grow more?
Sorry to hear that you have the exact same. It would look better if I had more hair in the back of my head and on the top of the back of my head. And fuck ponytails. You ain't living in the 80s.
Serious question, /fa/
Do fringes look retarded on older men? I'm currently 24 and I always have bangs/fringe because I think I look better with them
I don't like the idea of cutting my fringe or sporting any hairstyle that shows my forehead because I don't have much hair on the front (it's a slight symptom of hair loss I think, hopefully it won't get worse, but it's still there), like pic related
Are bangs okay for older guys? I don't think I have other options
